Tasty Chicken

Came here for the first time. I ordered one of their combo choices via recommendation from one of the managers. My first impression was that the wait time for the food to be prepared was fast and quick. Another impression was that both the managers gave me a half discount on my combo order because a relative of mine knows the managers pretty well which was very kind and generous of them. The combo I ordered included some fried chicken, cornbread and 2 large fries to share with my peers. The fried chicken was made fresh and hot and tasted crispy, juicy crunchy although it was pretty salty. The cornbread tasted decent and the fries where well made and crispy which me and my peers enjoyed. So overall not too bad of place for my first time experience here although the the fried chicken like I mentioned before tasted too salty.

I order from here all the time. Food is always on time. Hot and order is always correct. Chicken is so crispy & juicy even though it is delivery. Slightly saltier than I prefer but it’s still so good. They always provide plates, forks and napkins.
Must order the fried cheesecake, out of this world. Good job tasty !!!

Awful food. Awful management, I ordered from there last night they forgot their «Mabby’s Munchers» in the order I complained to seamless and the restaurant refused to refund my money. Let’s be honest if the food was in the order I wouldn’t waste my time doing this. Luckily for me seamless gave me off my next order but this place is awful the fried chicken is all breading the French onion soup is disgusting as well. The mashed potatoes were okay. Definitely never ordering from this poor managed place ever again. If I want fried chicken at a cheap price I would rather go to popeyes.

Best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted. Definitely suggest you order what they are best at, CHICKEN! Try the family order with fries or any other chicken order. They give you a good sized piece every time.

Ordered from here recently cuz i was tired after a long day of work and the last thing i wanted to do was cook. To make it short and to the point, the food was awesome, the price however was not i felt like I ordered a boat load of stuff upon looking at the bill when in reality it was hardly anything at best. But overall this place gets a solid 4 stars from me.

Quite possibly the most disgusting food ever. Roast beef sandwich with cheese was just dry roast beef with a pile of disgusting cheese whiz on it. The bun was soggy from all the cheese whiz. The sandwich came with no toppings like lettuce tomato or pickles.
The buffalo wings were no better. Barely any hot sauce and very tasteless chicken.

Finally got to try this place out. Ordered the wings which were seasoned ok but some of the fried skin was missing. The Mac and cheese is very bland but the chicken balances it out. Also ordered the waffle fries which were good. I like that they pack you plenty of plates and utensils as well as condiments. Will try this place again

Ordered food for 3.5 (kids). Got mozz stx, sliders, chx nuggets, a burger and fiery wings.
The food overall was pretty good and decent.
The only complaint was from their customer service which gave a lower rating. (and their prices. Jesus)
I ordered from a delivery app and put to call before ringing.
The delivery man called and gave me the only attitude! Im sorry but the order said it would take 20 – 30 minutes, yet it came in under 15.
‘are you serious?’ i said, happily flabbergasted.
‘yeeeeeeees’ annoyed with an attitude.
I had to send my husband to get the food. I was so angry… who does that?
It makes me even contemplate even buying from here again. Seriously.

You will never go wrong with their specialty which is fried chicken. I’ve ordered their fried drum, thigh, etc and they are always crisp and on point. I accidentally ordered their ‘boneless’ wings (just mashed wing meat made into nuggets) and it was soaked in way too much sauce. Perhaps the with bone wings will be better? I have yet to try them out, but they are good enough to go for a taste run on the weekend!

I really appreciate when a restaurant puts effort into their food, but Tasty Chicken is definitely degrading slowly. I ordered nachos today and they charged my 6 dollars for plain tortilla chips and a small cup of cheese. I think they should google «NACHOS». I also received a burger that was dry and a chicken sandwich soaked in tomato juice and falling apart.
I’ve been ordering from them for well over a year, but they’ve slowly been getting worse and worse, and I don’t know if necessarily will be ordering from them again.

What’s up, MotherCluckers! This is one of the greatest chicken places you’re ever going to eat IN YOUR LIFE!
How amazing is it? Yo, I normally can’t do fried chicken because it upsets my stomach, but this place, their fried chicken is on POINT and doesn’t do anything to my stomach except FILL IT WITH DELIGHT.
Best part, their menu is madd expansive, it doesn’t just offer chicken, it offers E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. Roast beef, vegetables, burgers, other things, it’s fantastic. Grilled chicken, fried chicken, it don’t matter, they got it.
And their BREAD — the bread they use to make their sandwiches — it is off the HOOK. It is soft, amazing bread. The only other place that has bread that tight is the bakery across the street from me on 18^th ave that has no name — if you live in Bensonhurst, you know what I’m talking about — their bread is so good.
I love the décor of old Brooklyn that dons the walls, too. It makes me wanna stay in there and eat my chicken and stare at the walls —
OH MAN, HOW COULD I FORGET ABOUT THE FRIES?! THE FRIES! THEY ARE LIFE CHANGING! YOU WILL SEE VISIONS WHEN YOU EAT THESE FRIES. YOU WILL SEE COLORS YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE! I love these fries more than I have ever loved any other fry. And if you know me, you know I don’t like fries normally. But these fries, they changed my life. And by life I mean perception about fries.
Anyway, you gotta go to Tasty Chicken, a place that’s only been around since FOREVER. Go there, eat everything, thank me later.

Wanted to order from a new place that we haven’t tried and had a craving for rotisserie chicken so decided to try tasty chicken, and what a mistake it was! First off this place is pretty damn pricey, spent $ 50 and didn’t really get alot of food, but more importantly the menu said marinated rotisserie chicken but it was absolutely flavorless and completely bland and after a few bites we both were done and left extremely disappointed, the sides of mac-​n-​cheese and mashed potatoes were edible but nothing spectacular, can’t say whether the rest of their menu is good or not but I’d definitely go elsewhere if you want rotisserie chicken.

I have been ordering and buying food from them since I was 10. They still are great and their food is always as tasty as you remember it being. It’s nice that independently run neighborhood American food spots are still open and doing well.

Their fried chicken may be good but we ordered the roast chicken with corn and it was awful. Dried out chicken, dried out corn and we had to throw it away. the owners didn’t care and wouldn’t refund out money when requested. maybe it was just a bad day for the cooks who knows.

I placed my order online and went to the store 5 minutes later to see my food ready to go which was a plus. But the chicken itself was nothing special. The skin was rather salty. The prices here are a little high and compared to Popeyes, more expensive and not as worth it.

My coworkers and I sometimes order delivery from Tasty Chicken. They usually deliver the food pretty fast and it’s usually still hot. I would usually get the 2 piece meal, leg and thigh; it comes with a cornbread and a side of your choice. The price is pretty decent.
Sometimes the chicken is a hit or miss. The meat is always good but the skin can at times be too salty for my liking.

Unfortunately I’m going to hand out a 3 star review to a place I would loove to give five stars but can’t. With so few options that are not Chinese, and even fewer that are chicken wing spots, I wish Tasty Chicken could have given me some more positive things to say about them.
On a side note, after spending six months in Wilkes Barre/​Scranton, where wings are a big deal, I was truly missing them and needed to get my fix.
So minus two stars for two main reasons: Firstly there are no deals, discounts, specials or anything to make this anything but a splurge. It’s expensive. I ordered $ 17 worth of chicken wings. What I received came out to over $ 1 a wing. The wings I got were juicy and meaty, and I was satisfied with the product. So that was a saving grace.
The other star comes off for almost not getting enough blue cheese with my order. This was my first time here. When I received my bag I opened it and checked to see how much blue cheese they gave me. I need enough to get me through hot wings. I got 2 small containers of blue cheese sauce, and I casually asked how much blue was. They mentioned i should have 4 small containers, but I was missing the other two that are supposed to come with it. When i pointed out the mistake, the clerk explained/​/​taught the cook in the back the procedure for a double order instead of taking the responsibility on his own. It was a little awkward and annoying. The ball was dropped and fumbled all over the field till I helped our team recover. Had I gone home and found and realized I missing an adequate amount of blue cheese for my wings I would have blew my top.
I want this place to thrive, but its not set up right. There was nothing but empty tables in this place ten minutes before a Stanley cup finals that the Rangers were in. Even without a liquor license, this place should have been packed. I feel like this needs a restaurant impossible kind of overhaul. I would love to see a 10 cent wing promotion somewhere in the near future.

Its just «ok».
I don’t usually eat fried chicken.
But it is «OK» so I wouldn’t discourage you from at least trying it.
It seems they have a big demand on delivery. It seemed they had 3 – 4 delivery guys coming in and being sent out with more orders. So, possibly, not many people come in to dine-​in.
If i understand correctly, the delivery is a $ 1 charge most anywhere in Brooklyn.
The cheese in the Mac and Cheese is like Cheese Whiz.
The four piece chicken dinner comes with two HUGE pieces of breast, 1 cornbread and 1 small side. and it comes out to about $ 10.00.
