Starbucks

This is by far the WORST Starbucks I have been to. Unfortunately, I live in the area and have no other choice. Some of the staff is rude and they never have anything available! I have come here multiple times and have had to walk out empty handed because they don’t have basic things such as house blend coffees, cups, or lids.
One time I came in here for a venti drink. I was told they had no venti lids. I said, «ok can I get a grande instead?». She said «no we do not have grande cups». So I said fine can I get a venti without the lid (thinking I would just sit down and drink my coffee instead). She claimed she was not allowed to serve me a venti drink without the lid. My frustration is that they had absolutely NO SOLUTION to this issue. Instead of telling me what she COULD do for me, I had to come up with possible solutions for her to in turn tell me she couldn’t do it.
This place has zero customer service. Even when the establishment is near empty they take forever to make the most basic drinks!

Starbucks may be Starbucks but not all are created equal. A poor quality barista can potentially destroy your overpriced cup of coffee. This location is terrible, it’s always a mess, items missing and service is terrible. There is always a line that never moves, not because it’s busy but because the staff suck at doing their job. You can get over the crap service if the coffee actually tasted the way it is supposed to taste, but it’s always bad. This Starbucks is more like a really poor Dunkin Donuts. I’m so tired of this place I’ll go to any other Starbucks or better yet go to Coffee Lab a few blocks down.

I never stop at this Starbucks unless I’m in a pinch. Slow, understaffed at the busiest points of the day. 2 cash registers and only one is ever open again, at the busiest part a of the day. I usually go out of my way to drive to the other side of Bay Ridge to the other Starbucks.

Every time I come here, there is a long long wait! They have 5 or 6 people running around doing anything BUT taking orders! I came here once and they ran out of milk! How is that possible!!! I’ll have to start going to the Starbucks on 92^nd street. That one is top notch.

What can I say… Starbucks is Starbucks whether its in London… LA or Asia… Good quality… good drinks… service a bit slow… lots of seats… always busy!

The coffee is good but I never see a filthy coffee shop like that I don’t even know how the health department didn’t close the store if any one from Starbucks head department read my review I really highly recommend you to go and check specially the seating area also the trash there is always full I prefer driving 20 blocks extra to get my coffee…

If it weren’t for the fact that there are no Starbucks within walking distance from where I live besides this one, and my fatal and crippling addiction to Starbucks iced coffee /​hazelnut lattes, I’d never come here. It’s full of high school girls trying to decide if they want «a venti caramel macchiato, no whipped cream, soy milk, duhhhhh» or «a venti mocha white, soy milk, ughhhhh» and then fiddling with all of their mother’s credit cards before finally paying to the great relief of all the other patrons and baristas.
To be fair, that’s not really the fault of the place, just its location. Service is usually pretty prompt unless there’s tons of people (or because JV cheerleading practice just got out) and the baristas are friendly. There’s plenty of space and a bathroom, though definitely too noisy to actually get studying done. All in all, if you live in the immediate area and don’t have an addiction to commercial coffee, go elsewhere.

I’ve been in this place a few times and overall I had no major issue. My drinks are always made correctly and the wait time for my drink is normal.
Usually I would take my drink to go. A few times, I’d sit and enjoy my drink in the store. While sitting there, I’d notice that the lines grew long but the cashier and baristas handled the rush quickly.
The staff is friendly.

Starbucks is one of the few places where a vegan doesn’t have to compromise. Every Starbucks location always has soy. So whatever might be less-​than-​perfect about a particular location, it makes no difference to me cause I can get my soy latte. When I’m at the 3^rd Ave 74^th St location (evenings, not peak), it’s okey-​dokey for pleasant service, speed of service, cleanliness and seating.
One important caveat for people with a milk allergy (at every Starbucks): watch the barista carefully and make sure they’re using a rinsed prep cup. If I hadn’t noticed and complained, my most recent soy latte (at this location) would have been made in a cup that contained the residue of a milk-​based drink that the barista had just made for the customer before me.

This is the closest local starbucks so I come here the most compared to others. The regular staff (full timers) are really friendly and quick but there are a few times where there is someone less experience (possibly training or part timers) that are slower.
The place is nice and cozy with a fair amount of seating but it can be very hard to find seating at peak times and weekends because people tend to stay there for long periods of time to do work or study. Bathroom is clean and wifi works fine. Air conditioner is always on blast and the music is nice and soothing but some say it is too loud which I think is not the case.
The drinks are made good and tastes just how I like it. I warn you though, if you want specific alterations of your drinks or anything custom (like off the secret menu), they will need to know exactly how much quantity or it may go wrong!
Lots of street parking free and meter parking in the area so finding a spot is easy.
1 star off for hard to get seating everytime but that’s just because I go at busy hours.
Another star off for not knowing anything off the secret menu. I tried to get the Nutella and one of the non regular staff was talking like he can make anything if I just gave him the ingredients which I did but it didn’t come out tasting like how other places makes them. I will try again ordering next time and giving them the exact portion amounts for the ingredients

For a company that prides itself on being environmentally conscious Starbucks drops the ball here.

I’m from out of town so service is key. Walked in, staff was very friendly. Got my order exact and fast. Internet was easy and fast hook up. Thx.

I always come to this Starbucks after school and quite frequently as it is the closest one to where I live. The employees are quite slow but I understand that it might be busy or they are new.
It has been baffling recently to come here to be told they do not have whipped cream or java chips for Happy Hour, they do not have grande cups and employees who do not listen. I told the barista i wanted to use my free drink and swiped my card. then when I checked, I found out I got charged. I told myself fine, just give them business. But it happened again with the same barista with my brother. It is fine once, but not twice. I did get my refund afterwards from a more experienced barista. you have to be firm with what you want from them because one of the guys said they couldn’t do anything about it.
This place is overall fine. The baristas need more training though. I would ask them for light ice and get a drink full of ice. This place has several tables with good wifi. I really like the structure inside. Like another Unilocaler said, customer service is hit or miss. BUTBUT, its a great place to study esp when you get a really good seat.

The only had grande cups??? The line was long 3 people working and only 1 size cup for cold drinks. What kind of star bucks has 1 size cup. Who manages this place. I go to Starbucks everyday for 5 years and have never had this happen? This place was dirty trash every where. They need to staff to the business and order cups.

I’ve trekked to all the area Starbucks locations within Bay Ridge (there are only three). This is my least favorite of the three and here’s why…
Customer service is hit or miss most of the time compared to the others, despite being friendly most of the time. That doesn’t make it the busiest either. That honor goes to the 86^th St one. The main gripe has always been the people camped out here at all hours of the day despite having ample seating. Get a job?
That being said, décor and music (ambiance) is standard Starbucks, so there’s not much to speak of there. I feel they could use some work in the queue department. It’s also along a main thoroughfare and intersection, namely Third Ave, and that typically would mean high traffic. They’re just simply backed up for no reason.
All in all, my main go-​to is the 92^nd St location. They know their regulars and have never lapsed with their queue. 3.2÷5.0

Good location in Brooklyn, but also a lot of seating (which is great). It was nice and cozy when we swung by the other day for a coffee. The wi-​fi was out, which kind of sucked, but other than that, it’s an A-​OK Bucks spot.

This Starbucks usually has a line, but they make the drinks quickly and efficiently handle the crowds in the morning.
The baristas are always so courteous and sincere. They always make a great latte and when there is a mistake (rarely happens) they take care of it.
It’s a little small inside and seating is always competitive but worth going to.

They are always running out of something.

Their manager would do well to use an inventory checklist because this happens all too frequently.

Your regular Starbucks. The staff are pretty nice and it’s a great place to study. I kind of wish that the music wasn’t that loud but otherwise than that, it’s a good place. There was different areas to study. Parking is super easy.

This Starbucks is the closest to my house and usually my go to spot to just chat with my friends. It’s not a bad spot to go to. The music they play is soothing and relaxing. They also have free wifi which is a plus. The staff are really friendly and they are quick with the orders. They are on point with whatever you order. About the only negative about this starbucks is the seating. It can be pain to get a seat. You had better jump on a seat as soon you see one.
