The soup kitchen for the 21st century. In fact, calling them a soup kitchen does not do them justice. St. John’s Bread and Life is the largest emergency food provider in Brooklyn, feeding 1,000 people a day.
They are doing revolutionary work with their digital food pantry, the mobile soup kitchen, and they have many more projects in the works. During the holidays, they even provide under-​privileged children with the toys they WANT with their digital Santa.
