DELICIOUS! I love the wine and cheese lists, I love the atmosphere and the service. They make amazing martini’s and old fashioned drinks as well. The little breads they give when you sit down are delightful all the way to the little free cookie sandwiches they give when you receive your check. The chefs and waiters at this restaurant take pride in what they do; my boyfriend and I were the only table there early on a Thursday night and everything still came out beautiful and delicious. There is never any slacking at Soigné! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and will be here at least 2x a month!

Overall a very pleasant experience. The wine flights are amazing, as was the old-fashioned I had before dinner. Staff was attentive and helpful in recommending cheeses specifically. Sweet potato ravioli was very good. I will definitely be back.

Had dinner here last night for the first time and was very impressed with the meal and service. The environment is a little dark but I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere — we choose to try this place out when Bar Toto was packed to the gills with families post trick-or-treating. Our waitress was attentive and the food was delicious — we had the bone marrow and foie gras to start and the portions were decent. We followed it with the tuna and duck which were delicious and the coffee and donuts dessert which was fantastic. I would definitely visit again.

Truly wonderful atmosphere to spent an anniversary. Great service timed perfectly and delicious food to match. An affordable and well made wine list that includes flights as well as half bottles. Make this your next date night, if you go around 5 you can have the place to yourself if your lucky

Cute and cozy place for dinner! We had an engagement party dinner for my friend and the place was wonderful. The food was amazing. We had a pre-fix menu for the party and everything was superb. I ordered the crispy pork belly for apps and the braised beef short rib for the entrée. They were both excellent in their own ways. First, you can never go wrong with pork belly. It was almost like eating a breakfast sandwich because it’s topped with sunnyside eggs. Amazing! Second, the braised beef short rib was delicious and tender. I love that they married it with red wine risotto. However, what really topped it all off was the dessert. For dessert, it was a choice of either Coffee and Doughnuts or a chocolate flourless tore cake. Wisely, I chose Coffee and Doughnuts because not often do you get doughnuts as a choice for dessert. I guess the surprise was the«Coffee» part because I didn’t read the description so I assume it was actually coffee. But it was Coffee crème brulee, which is one of the most amazing thing I ever had. I normally like regular crème brulee but after this, I can never go back to regular. I need Coffee crème brulee everywhere!

Love this place! Our first experience here blew us away so we decided to host our wedding reception here. Everyone left with smiles on their faces. The menu hits all ends of the spectrum and never disappoints. The service and generosity of Soigné goes above and beyond from start to finish. A few of my favorites: Braised Short Rib, Soigné Burger, Risotto Fritters, Coffee and Donuts, Flourless Chocolate Torte, and pretty much everything I have tried. The wine list and wine flights too! My wife and I always show up here and remember right away why we keep coming back.

Came in the other night for a later dinner! We had been wanting to try this place before we moved from Brooklyn, and I am glad we did! The wine flights are a great value compared to a glass of wine so I recommend doing that, for sure! My fiancé had the duck, which was delicious and nicely cooked. I had the beef tenderloin, which was a nice twist on a classic. The beef was a bit fatty for my liking, but I understand you can’t control the cow. To start we had the crab cakes and the risotto fritters — both were delicious! It’s a great spot for a date night — very intimate. Also, in my opinion, you can’t go wrong when Tom Petty, John Mellencamp and the like are the choice of music :)

Really nice place for a quiet dinner. Went here on a Friday night and had dinner with family. Scallops and artichoke risotto came out excellent. Tuna also came out incredible too. Service was polite and attentive. Would definitely come back and recommend it!

My first two times here, it was great. Free appetizers, delicious food, and an overall good experience. The third time, unfortunately, was so bad that I will probably never be back! I live right across the street, and my boyfriend & I walked over for a nice dinner. There was only one table currently sitting at the restaurant, another couple sitting outdoors. When we walked up, the waiter was taking their order. He acknowledged us as we sat down at another table outdoors. It’s a very, very small outdoor section, so you know that he absolutely saw us sit down. Maybe five minutes go by, and there’s no sign of the waiter. We don’t have menus or water or anything. Another couple comes up and sits down at the table next to ours. They’re both in their 40s, maybe. My boyfriend and I are in our early 20s. The waiter finally comes outside, ignores me & my boyfriend, and goes right up to the couple who sat down maybe seven/eight minutes after us. It was pretty obvious that he was doing this because he assumed that older = more money = better tip. It was super insulting. He knew that we had been seated way before them. When he finally finished with the other couple and came up to our table, he greeted us simply by telling us that one of the dishes wasn’t available — the one my boyfriend wanted. Normally, this wouldn’t be a big deal. But when my boyfriend said, «Oh, that’s what I was going to order!», the waiter laughed at him. He didn’t bother suggesting another dish or anything. At a more expensive restaurant like Soigné, this is pretty horrible service. We were about to spend well over $ 100 on a meal, and we were treated so poorly. We walked out and went to eat somewhere else.

Eh… Sad to downgrade this place, but the risotto was overcooked and the wine tasted funny. Asked the waiter to taste the Sancerre, he took it back to have the chef(owner?) taste it. Came back saying that it tastes exactly how it’s supposed to taste. I’ve never had a Sancerre *that* bitter before(my date found it odd as well), so I just told them that I’ll take that bottle to go and ordered another — didn’t feel like leaving or arguing since I was on a date… Plenty of choices in the area at that price point or less, so I won’t be back. Maybe in a year or two if they are still around.

Came here for Mother’s Day dinner(night before 7:45 reservations). Wasn’t crowded at all. Like the space a lot. It’s on the corner with some limited outdoor seating — for couples. Interior is nice as well. There’s a spacious bar with good amount of tables for seating. We had a party of 8 and we were comfortable. On to the food: — Crab cakes — it’s as good as crab cakes go. Crispy and golden outside with the right amount of spices and crab meat. To be honest, never been a fan of crab cakes so didn’t really care too much for this appetizer. — Roasted bone marrow — Delicious. Very rich. Two bone marrows that came with toasted brioche. I made sure to take my time soaking up all the marrow goodness with my bread. It’s salty, creamy, fatty — everything that makes marrow so delicious. — Pan seared foie gras — Probably my favorite. It was extremely rich ad oddly enough went well with the blackberries. However, just spread the foie gras on some toast was perfect. Highly recommend this. — Housemade charcuterie(pork pâté and duck rillettes) — If you’re into pâté, definitely get this. The rillette was a little bit too salty for me. — Tenderloin of beef — Very tender beef and cooked just the way I like it — medium rare. I was obsessed with the mushrooms that came with this dish. Also comes with a side of sunchoke creamed spinach which went very well with the beef. Was also able to nibble off some of these other plates: — Stuffed Niman Ranch Pork Chop — bursting with flavors. The stuffing is goat cheese plus apple. Unique taste and the pork was cooked perfectly. If I come back, would get this dish. — Tuna Au Poivre — Perfectly seared tuna with a thick pepper crust. I’m a fan although for me, I can only eat fish when I crave it and I just wasn’t feeling it that night. Overall, it was a delicious meal — definitely worth indulging for a special occasion. Cannot limit yourself when you come here!

I came here last night with my boyfriend. It’s a nice place in park slope. We ordered a bottle of Sangiovese wine. For appetizers, we ordered crab cakes and a cheese plate which we sampled 3 different imported cheeses. The waitress was very nice, she helped us select three cheeses that paired well together. The crab cakes were delicious. All the cheeses we selected were also delicious. For dinner I ordered beef tenderloin medium rare with potatoes and cream of spinach. The meat was cooked perfectly and it was very tender. My boyfriend ordered the lamb shank which was served over polenta and kale. It was very good, the meat came right of the bone, as it should. For dessert we had mini doughnuts and coffee crème brûlée. The doughnuts were warm, it was perfect. Overall, I liked soigné and their menu and will be returning.

My best friend and I decided for New Years that we would visit at least 2 restaurants a month for the whole year. This was our first stop. For a Friday night it was very quaint and reserved! It was not overly crowded and the restaurant space was very nice and unique with the window artwork and floral settings. It is a good spot for a date as the Pandora selection was all about love! It is also a good spot for a family outing as it gives you the benefit of being close in proximity with a good mix of ambiance and music to enable good conversation!!! It is also great for a homegirls kickstart to a good night or for a chill moment when you just want to go out and not be involved with the whole world. On a bad note!!! I have an amazing amount of allergies and Nuts are on the list! The dessert menu was adequate to say the least… each dessert was probably excellent to the Pallet but I wouldn’t know… they all contained NUTS which is an allergy nightmare! My suggestion is to switch up the menu and cater to all as it is possible to do. Food was great! I had the tenderloin beef and fingerling potatoes with cream spinach!!! Amazing. My best friend had Lamb Shank… I am not a lamb person but she loved it! My suggestion: Try it you will not be disappointed provided you don’t have allergies!

This place is amazing!!! My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner at Soigné, Anthony was great and very accommodating. We were able to have the entire restaurant for our party of 35. The pricing was extremely reasonable as well. The food is SOGOOD. I had mushroom risotto which was fabulous. All of our guests were raving about the food as well. The menu changes up seasonally which I love because there are always new dishes to try. I definitely want to go back because there were so many delicious looking dishes on the menu. Definitely try this place out, you will not be disappointed!

One of the best dishes I ever ate in my life was simply seared foie gras(real deal, none of those pâté things), prepared in front of me by old lady in a heart of Paris Jewish neighborhood. It was in a tiny kitchen — and I was never able to find it again. It was magical — and just like magic, that place *poof!* disappeared. I been searching for it for years… …now I am pretty much convinced it been transported to Brooklyn, and set on the corner of 6th&12th. Why, you say? Foie Gras is the proof. Yes, here it is once again, best dish I ever ate — perfectly seared, wholesome and delightfully rich foie gras, freshly prepared just for me. Little green mâche on top, and pears to garnish — it took me back to old lady kitchen and wonders of french home cooking… Moments like this make your whole day better, no matter what. One simple bite, you close your eyes, and let your taste buds have a most exquisite time ever. Beside the foie gras, menu is extensive and just as good. Here are few I’ve tried and loved: perfectly roasted beets, mouth-watering bone marrow, delicious sweet potato agnolotti and creamy dreamy wild mushroom risotto. The amuse bouche cheesy breads they start you with — sooo good too! Prix Fixe menu here are excellent options — both $ 30 and $ 45 lists are very good value, and well put together. They also have interesting cocktail menu — knowing my love for pisco & mezcal, I am in haven. And, it is a wine bar — wine flights are available, whole list is exciting. Service is quick, seating is aplenty — both at the bar or tables, plus, they do take open table reservations. Yes, I am convinced, it is magical.

I had a very lovely, very special, meal here with my fiancé. I’m already planning a special occassion to come back. While my fiancé was playing games at our friends house early Saturday evening, I was scoping OpenTable to find a nice spot to have some dinner with my love. Looking at Soigné’s menu, I knew I couldn’t pass it up. I tapped my fiancé on the shoulder, got a thumbs up, and made a reservation for 9:15. We arrived early but after a brief wait were able to be seated 30 minutes before our reservation. The ambience is quite romantic. Dimmed lights, soft music, candles on every table; it’s the kind of place you have a special occasion dinner. Our waitress was polite and offered many recommendations, but was so quiet I could barely hear her. I get that it was part of the experience but she needed to speak up. We started with a rosé and a chianti. Both were decent. I much preferred the rosé which was surprising since I often prefer rich red wines. We were given the complimentary potato soup and gruyère puffs which were great. I loved the warm puff with the cold soup. For appetizers we went with the charcuterie, which consisted of paté and duck rillets, both of which were good but definitely not as impressive as the foie gras over pain perdue and it was incredible. The bread was so amazing, caramelized on the outside and custard like on the inside with perfectly seared(and a generous portion) foie gras with a peppery arugula salad on top. It was perfect. I ordered a second glass of wine due to the expansive wine list and the fact that I wanted a nice rich red wine to pair with my entrée. Hob nob pinot noir AKA my new favorite red wine. I was struggling to pick an entrée because I wanted like 5 different ones. The menu is great and has a ton of variety. My fiancé ordered the venison with parsnip purée, candied chestnuts, and spaghetti squash. He loved it. The meat was perfectly cooked and he loved all of the accompaniments. As for me, I went with the tenderloin of beef with chantarelles, marrow roasted potatoes, creamed sunchoke and spinach, and a truffled Madeira wine sauce. I ordered it rare and the dish was almost perfect. They oversalted the sunchoke and spinach which was a shame because the texture was perfect and everything was hot and delicious. The potatoes were addicting. We also decided to split the truffle fries. The entire restaurant smelled like truffles when we walked in so it was necessary that we ordered these. They were the best fries I’ve ever had. Not overly greasy, no overpowering truffle flavor, and perfectly cooked. For dessert we split the chocolate tart with salted caramel and bruleéd bananas. It was a little too rich for my blood but it tasted good nonetheless. As they brought the check over they brought over small chocolate and sea salt cookies that were amazing. If I’d known we’d receive that I’m not sure we would have needed dessert. Service was on the slow side. We were in the restaurant for over 2 hours, but I didn’t mind because I had good company. It was so slow our waitress left before we did though. A little odd. Oh well. Can’t wait to come back. I need to come back and get the pork chop and a million other things!

We love this place. Being new to the city from Texas my wife and I were missing our typical Friday after work spots to relax and enjoy a few drinks. We decided to stop in for dessert one evening. Then we met Johnny. A unplanned drink later we ended up staying until they closed up shop on our first visit. Fast forward a year and a half later, and the place is changing. It’s missing a bit of it’s vibe we loved so much. They pulled the TVs, which were always muted, but playing local sports at the bar. IMO, it was a great mix of a great dining experience, and comfortable neighborhood bar. Now it feels like a slightly stuffy restaurant. The food is, and always has been amazing. We usually go in for dessert and/or apps and drinks. Dinner is always delectable, but it’s priced just high enough that it’s not on our usual rotation, unless we’re celebrating something. Go for the food, or the desserts(best deserts we’ve found in Brooklyn), you won’t be disappointed, but we do miss the ‘old Soigné’.

Came for the Sunday(also available on Weds and Thurs) $ 30 – 3 course prix fixe but ordered from the regular menu instead. Complimentary potato soup and cheese bread was delicious way to start the meal! Mushroom salad was ok, a little too much goat cheese for my taste. Pan seared foie gras served with pain perdu that tasted like a pancake-delish! Pan seared scallops cooked perfectly and the vanilla flavor came through. Fiancé only semi enjoyed his tuna. Coffee and donuts dessert was good. Donuts served fresh and warm. Coffee crème brûlée had nice and think sugar coating, texture inside was inconsistent. Complimentary chocolate and salted caramel petit four was nice ending. Service was excellent! Can’t wait to come back for brunch and more dinner!

Ack, what a disappointment. I was pretty excited to finally come try this place and after all the hype my dish was just meh. Fried Chicken and Waffles… my favorite thing for brunch… burnt to a crisp. Look at the picture… perfectly plated… a delicious waffle with good honey and good butter, and a completely burnt piece of chicken. I could have cried…

We came here for brunch and loved the food, although service was not quite up to par. The restaurant was much smaller than I was expecting but spacing was good so we didn’t feel cramped. It felt like it caters to an older crowd as my fiancé and I were the youngest ones there by quite a few years. The brunch menu had a number of great choices, including eggs with different types of meats(homemade sausage; duck breast; short rib; pork belly) and some other delicious-sounding options. I loved the lobster omelet I ordered, and everyone else I cam with also very much enjoyed their meal. The French fries were crispy, portions were large, and the bloody mary was quite good as well. A nice touch was the complimentary«cinnamon rolls» they gave us in the beginning. They were mini, bite-sized things but while the restaurant called them cinnamon rolls, they’re actually more like a mini pain au raisin. They were served warm and had a sweet, buttery flavor. Service was not the best and I felt like a little training would do a lot of good. While it was on the slow side, what really struck us was the waiter’s etiquette — several times, he served my fiancé a drink/food from my side of the table, reaching out in front of me and over my food, rather than walking a couple steps to his side to set down his glass/plate.
