This dentist was recommended to me by a friend who had a chipped tooth and was able to see the doctor on short notice to have it taken care of.
I just had my first cavity (at the age of 34) and I was looking to have it extracted.
The doctor looked at my x-​rays and did a quick inspection of my teeth before recommending I see an oral surgeon instead.
I was very impressed, his examination was fast and gentle, he was very good natured, and he was very honest about the risks of the tooth breaking during extraction (because of the size of the cavity).
It is rare enough when a professional will turn away business like that, but this man had a very good manner. I’ll be coming back here.

Don’t go to this guy. He was rough when examining my teeth, caused pain before any procedure took place, and then told me I had «a few cavities.» I was naturally baffled with this «ballpark» figure for how many teeth needed to drilled into by clearly a hack, so I asked him how many, he says «Eh 5 to 8.» Got the hell out of there, then got a second opinion from Schlomo Feldman in south williamsburg. Told me I had only 1, did the procedure painlessly and quickly. Done.
