Really lovely people who deserve our business. The food is delicious and fresh. I highly recommend this wonderful hole in the wall for great Thai food.

Granted, it doesn’t look like much. Also, maybe not the most charming place to sit down to eat. But order their food for delivery or take-out and you’ll be surprised! My kids love their Chicken Satay and I’m a big fan of their curries.

Please eat here at your own risk. This joint had mediocre at best Thai food and they have a C rating.

Waiting for my food for delivery. It’s been over an hour now and the place is literally around the corner. I went down there in person, but as I was placing my order the lady answered the phone and took a delivery order which took 5 mins. I waited till she was done taking that order then the phone rang again and she answered the phone and took down another order. Now I’ve been waiting 10 mins and the kitchen still doesn’t have my order. So I’m thinking why am I here. I should call them as deliveries obviously take priority so I leave and call and she takes my order straight away. I went down there after waiting 45 mins as I was hungry for my food. She said the food left with the delivery guy just before I got there. So I walk back to my place and now it’s been over 40 mins and still no food. I called a few times and she said he’s coming. Last time I go there. Shame the food is really good. The service and organization is crapola. Food finally got here and it’s just warm.

It’s a small restaurant, but has great food. Green curry is my favorite, but the beef is too hard, beside that everything else is very good. Will be back soon.

A friend recommended this place and I nearly didn’t go in because it looked so sketchy from the outside. It’s a very small space that definitely isn’t aesthetically pleasing. Fortunately I committed to entry, and was pleasantly surprised to find absolutely amazing food which was super cheap. Curry puffs, green curry and pineapple fried rice were all 10⁄10. BYO too. Will definitely be back and recommend to others.

Small. Restaurants small with 3 tables. First time here and only getting takeout. Too small and tight to enjoy dinner

So good for the price. BYOB place with the best thai food. Not fancy place at all but cheap and sufficient service. I live near by so it’s a very convenient place after work when I don’t feel like cooking.

First time delivery and it was great. They were quick and food was hot. Best pad Thai I have had in a long time along with delicious steamed dumplings. My new fav Thai spot

Wonderful little Thai place. Hole-in-the-wall sort of feel but the food is delicious. The staff is incredibly nice. They don’t have any dishes that will absolutely floor you but I’ve had a ton of the items on the menu(both take-out and eat-in) and honestly it’s all been really fantastic. Noodles and fried rice are super flavorful and perfectly spiced. Always a great treat.

This place has a very friendly staff and the food is delicious. I had the drunken noodles(spicy) and thought it was well worth the money. The prices are also very reasonable. The food is prepared pretty quickly which makes it a good spot if you’re on the go

Just great! I ordered Tom yum soup, massaman and papaya salad. All three items were courses(plenty of times). Don’t let this little spot fool you, it’s great food, the server was very nice and it’s not expensive. 5 stars all the way

For a small, unsuspecting spot, the food is surprisingly amazing. This is honestly the best papaya salad I’ve ever had. Do not hesitate.

Let me start by saying I wanted to give a solid 4 stars. Been going here for years, one of my all time fav spots for Thai Food. The quality went down hill for a lil while, but the last few months quality has been top notch! However my complaint is that the staff says the owner’s policy is ¾ of the rice container full but it’s not, especially recently, anywhere near ¾ and its a small container as is. Stop being cheap just fill the small rice container up completely! Customer loyalty more important or saving a few pennies on rice? Simply unbelievably short sighted. Will edit and re-rate if policy changes.

I have been trying to up my Thai food game so I would say I have a basic understanding of good Thai food. I must of come on a good day since the customer service here was just fine unlike other reviews. The guy was super patient as my friend and I took a while to order and changed it. He said how long it will take him to make the food and he was very nice when we said we will be right back, going to corner store. He asked if I wanted spicy(yes!) and then said thanks on our way out. Nice guy. The food was good but not the best Thai I have ever had. The prices were fine. National in Fort Greene is a lot better and has the same prices for sit down meal so Siam Orchid could stand to shave off $ 1 or $ 1.50 here and there. The pineapple fried rice had a bit too much octopus and could of had a bit more pineapple. It was rather mild as well and didn’t have that flavor explosion you get with Thai. The curry rolls were scrumptious though. So crisp and fluffy with lots of flavor. Great sauce too. I would have a small meal of these with Thai iced tea. I also had something I forgot what the name was but it has flat noodles and chicken. Really it was fine nothing super memorable to even give a better description. It wasn’t bad it was just f-i-n-e. Noodles, meat, veggie, hot. I probably wouldn’t come again food wise since they do have other options not far away and it is not even so much cheaper to where I don’t mind good enough food.

0 star if there is an option. 0 star if there is an option. 0 star if there is an option. I just ordered Pad Thai from this place and everything is BADBADBAD RUDESTAFFWITHBADATTITUDE, RUDEST people I ever met. They don’t say anything, just hand the food to you. And this woman working has serious issues, she won’t respond to your questions and treat you like DIRT. You should never ever go to this place. I have felt like sxxx after coming back from this place and I never had this treatment anywhere before. NEVEREVERGO unless you want to feel sxxxxx for sxxxxx food and sxxxxx service. Pad Thai was not a Pad Thai, something else and it’s bad.

Take-out only Thai joint on Metropolitan Ave. I say take-out only because there are literally two tables in the lobby and if someone is ordering ahead of you, it’s almost more comfortable to wait on the sidewalk. I paid $ 11 for lunch here, and ordered squid with mixed vegetables. There was hardly any squid in it. Everything was tasty, but it was a rip off. The rice(of all things) was the only thing that tasted bizarre, like it had chemicals in it. It was so gross I almost lowered this review down to 1 star, but I am giving this place the benefit of the doubt. It is cash only. They do deliver, I guess that’s a plus. But I would go elsewhere.

This place is utterly foul. I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food in my lifetime. I’ve lived in Chicago, London and now New York and I can say that, of those cities, this is the worst Thai food I’ve ever had in the entire world. I still have the taste of the wretched Yum Woon Sen in my mouth and kinda wanna puke. Let’s start with the Yum Woon Sen, which should be renamed Yuck Woon Suck. Horrible. They made it with ground beef. Ground beef?!? What, did your Midwestern mom cook this from the back of a Hamburger Helper box?!? It was spicy as hell, but not in a good way, more in a monochromatic, aggressive tongue-slaughtering way. Covered in onions, I had like three bites before I surrendered it to the trash can. What a waste of money. The Pad See Ew featured tough, overcooked chicken and overcooked noodles and was way too sweet. The Tom Kha Gai soup was made with too much lime and lacked any of the creamy richness that soup should have. This restaurant should just stop. They should be ashamed of themselves. I couldn’t make Thai food this bad if I tried. Please, please, please, don’t listen to the non-one-star reviews here. Avoid this suck fest at all costs. If Siam Orchard were a person, I’d kick it in the nuts right now for what it did to me. I hate you, Siam Orchard, and I just met you. You shame the good people of Thailand. I’m going to go barf now. Ugh.
