SAS Roofing & Waterproofing

We were looking to redo a small roof in Brooklyn. SAS met w/​me the day after I called and were able to complete the job the next day. They gave a good price, and didn’t mind working with my employee when I wasn’t available.

Mohammed (the «A» in SAS) and his crew are beyond wonderful. His prices are fair — especially considering he and his team’s timeliness, thoroughness, and cleanliness. He isn’t the cheapest quote you’ll get, but his prices are WORTH IT. You buy cheap, you get cheap. Mohammed does the job right, the first time around and he doesn’t pinch pennies. He’ll use the best quality materials and consult with you if something he needs will cost more (it happened once and he went about in the absolute best way). He’s always willing to talk something out and provide extra information if asked. He and his crew clearly work together well as they work quickly, are incredibly polite — and have I mentioned how tidy they are? We had to have our terrace’s floor redone owing to years of leaks through the floor below, work that had been attempted by a frustrating roster of plumbers and contractors over the years. He took one look at it, saw the faults in the initial construction and repaired the flooring. The repair was more extensive than expected, but we finally have a dry space down below and the tiling looks better than before. He also repaired a massive, gaping hole that stemmed from the roof that had left us with a weeping eyesore in the kitchen for too many years — we had the same situation with other roofers and contractors, $$$ spent, but no fix to the probelm. He recently came back to redo our sidewalk and fix some leakage issues with our HVAC that were making for greater problems. We will turn to Mohammed whenever there’s a problem, he is incredibly professional and he offers a warranty should his work not be sound; this last bit is very comforting. He offers the warranty, but so far we’ve not had to use it, which is the greatest relief of all!

After researching several roofers I decide to hire SAS Construction to repair two roofs in my commercial Flat roofed Building located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn along with repointing and stucco work.
The roof was completed neglected for many years and need a complete removal of multi layers of old roof material
The work involved to do this job correctly was more extensive than first assumed. Mohammad (Amzad) stuck to the original agreed contracted price and ate the difference. Now that talks volumes right there!
