The ABSOLUTE BEST. Jenny and her team are amazing — I have used them for three years and I wish I could move them to California with me! They are always so professional, very responsive, timely, and flexible. And most importantly, my dog Millie LOVES Jenny. I work from home on Fridays and sometimes Millie and I run into Jenny as she is on other walks in the afternoon, and Millie DRAGS me the whole block to go say hi to Jenny — it is very clear that Jenny really cares about her furry friends and they love her back!
Everything about my experience was wonderful and I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

I have never, ever had such a negative experience with any company.
I sent Run Around my address and cross streets. We set up an appointment to meet on Wednesday at 7:30 pm. At 7:45, she still hadn’t shown up, so I sent her a text asking where she was. She said she had lost track of time and would leave then. I told her we could just reschedule.
We rescheduled to Monday at 7:30. At 6:30, she texted me to ask if we could move our meeting back to 8:30 instead. I agreed. At 8:40, I still hadn’t heard from her, so I texted to ask if she was coming. She said she would be here by 9.
At 9, I got a text (not even a phone call) saying that I was actually out of her range and she couldn’t work with me. Let me repeat that I had sent the cross streets in my first email. I called, she didn’t answer twice. I texted her to please show me the respect of calling me back. She did, said it just wouldn’t work.
Overall, this was thoroughly unprofessional (two late meetings, which I was never notified about, and then being cancelled on even though I had provided the coordinates in my very first email). I was left with two days to scramble to find a walker, which I needed by that Thursday.
I would never, ever, ever use these people. I have had a horrific experience and they are entirely unprofessional and unapologetic about it.

Our dog has had numerous back issues in the past 12 months — requiring surgery, medication and lots of special care. Whether carrying our pup in and out of the building while he was suffering with bladder control issues or walking him with a sling as he regained use of his hind legs, Run Around Pets has done everything we’ve asked and more. These are the best caretakers around!

Jenny and her team have been walking my 2 shiba inu’s for about 4 years now. Excellent service. Shiba’s can be tricky. I am never worried about my dogs with them!

Jenny, Ana, Liz and the rest of the team have been brilliant with my dog Lily both boarding and walking her over the last year. I would highly recommend their services.

Whenever we need care for our kitties, Ayoba and Zakumi, we always rely on Run Around. Jenny is wonderful to deal with in making arrangements and the team who comes to take care of the cats always sends quick updates to us after feeding and playing with them. I think the prices are wonderful for the level of service and care and I feel very grateful to have found them.

I have been using Run Around for a few months now to walk my bouncy young pup, Clover. Jenny, Liz, and the whole team have been fantastic with my little Clover, very prompt in response, and incredibly reliable. Clover sometimes urinates excitedly when she meets new people in my home, which I was worried would be a problem. The team at Run Around were so kind in cleaning up and being very patient with Clover while she adjusted.
I feel so relieved that my energetic pup gets such caring attention when I am away. Thanks Run Around!

Jenny and her staff did an excellent, responsible job of taking care of our elderly cat this summer. They also took care of some household tasks while we were gone and we got regular email updates on how she was doing. Most appreciated. They were also able to watch her over July 4^th on very short notice.

I’ve been a customer of Jenny’s for several years. She and her crew are super reliable and well organized. I use them five days a week plus they somehow manage to come through every time i need a weekend walk or an overnight sit.

Jenny and her team are the best! Caring, super reliable, and best of all, you can tell they love your pets as much as you do. They always go the extra mile, whether its longer than usual walks, taking the time to put little doggy rain coats on our mutts, (which frankly i never do) etc. We even board our pups with Jenny when we cant take the pups with us on trips, and we know they’re in good loving hands. jenny often sends us pics of our pups romping with her dog, and other clients’ dogs, which is a great touch as well.

Jenny and her team are fantastic. Our old dog walker pulled back on one-​off walks a year or so ago, but she was able to recommend Run Around Pets. Needless to say, we trusted the recommendation, and haven’t looked back. Jenny and her team are fantastic. Our dog gets great walks, and they are understanding of the fact that we don’t need daily ones as we work from home often. That doesn’t mean our dog gets treated any differently than the rest!
We’ve used them for boarding services one more than one occasion as well, and our dog comes back happy and well walked. You know she enjoys the Run Around Pets team because she starts swinging her tail so violently that her whole body shakes before she jumps on them (while randomly passing in the streets). Needless to say, I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in the neighborhood. We tried doggie day care before, but it wasn’t our dog’s favorite experience. This way, we don’t have to drop her off/​pick her up anywhere, and when we get home we’ve got a note explaining how long she was out, and if she did her business.

There are two patron saints for pets in Brooklyn… St Francis of Assisi… and Run Around Pet Services. Jenny, Ryan, Lindsay and Jamie are wonderful human beings who understand how to take care of and communicate with animals. They have been walking my two senior Gordon Setters since I moved to Brooklyn In August 2011. I knew from the moment I met Jenny I was in good hands. The service that she and her staff have provided since our first meeting has been nothing short of outstanding.
Run Around Pet Service is not just dog walking or pet boarding business. It’s a full fledged customer service operation. I receive text messages daily letting me know when the dogs have been walked. I receive e-​mails and newsletters keeping me up-​to-​date on their business operations. Run Around has amazing flexibility with last minute walks and special accommodations. In addition, Run Around was extremely compassionate and understanding when I lost my job and had to cut back on the walks. Run Around cares about the pets and the clients they work for. They eagerly establish «real» relationships with clients and aim to please them 110% every day.
Perhaps the following two stories best illustrate why you should have complete and unwavering trust in Run Around Pet Services. Last fall, a smoke condition developed in my home from leaving wet linseed oil rags exposed. When Ryan arrived to walk the dogs at noon, he immediately called me, told me about the condition… and made sure the dogs got to a neighbor’s house so they would not be further exposed to the billowing smoke. Ryan not only saved our home but the lives of our dogs as well. On another occasion, I happened to come home early when Jenny was walking my 13 year old dog Eros. Eros is a «special needs» client. He has arthritis and cannot walk fast or far. She told me from day one it would not be a problem to care for him. My heart broke (and I almost shed a tear) when I saw Jenny pick up Eros and carry him down the front steps to get to the sidewalk (he weighs 65 – 70 lbs). She did it with a smile and compassion. She has never once told me that Eros is a «challenge» or ever complained to me that he is a burden to walk. I am forever grateful for the tender loving care she and the Run Around Staff give to both of my dogs every single day.
Run Around Pet Services is quite simply the best pet service around. I know of no other pet service in New York City that cares for animals with such commitment, dignity, grace, organization, vitality, dedication and love.

RUN AROUND PET SERVICES! How I love thee…
It’s not easy to trust someone with your best friend but I am COMPLETELY comfortable with Jenny & Ryan (the walkers who most frequent my home) and always pleased with both their care of my dog and their communication with me. The crew at Run Around are some of the most friendly, reliable, flexible and hard working people I’ve ever known/​had the pleasure of doing business with.
I schedule 30-​minute walks for my dog 5 days a week but have been treated to an occasional 60-​minute walk or an entire afternoon in with Jenny when she was able to. I trust them so much that I hired Run Around to «board» my pup while I was on vacation instead of asking friends for help (and got some awesome pictures while I was away!). Some people just get it, and when it comes to animals and amazing customer service, Jenny certainly does.
The team at Run Around have gone way beyond the call of duty for me & my dog — highly, highly recommended. Love you guys, keep up the good work (of making my life easier!)

Moving here from the ‘burbs with a large backyard where I worked from home, it was important for me to find a great dog walker at a reasonable price. I found Run Around Pet Services online and was immediately impressed by my communication with Jamie. She was responsive to my many questions. It also didn’t hurt that she, too, is located in Fort Greene.
I met her before committing to her services and could see immediately that she truly loves dogs. On a couple days when guilt has overcome me for the changes I’m putting Roscoe through, she has responded to last minute text messages to take Roscoe for an hour long walk instead of the normal 30 minute walk (for a reasonable up charge). She texts me every day after the walk with an update. She has never walked Roscoe with more than one other dog at a time, often giving him solo walks. Roscoe was never truly leash trained and she’s been working with him on that, as well as his tendency to bark at approaching dogs.
She offers in-​home boarding, also at a very reasonable price. What better place to leave your dog than in the home of someone who loves him? She has two other well behaved dogs which makes the situation all the more appealing, in my opinion.

Jenny and the team at Run Around are fantastic. It took me years to find someone I trusted my dogs to. They are responsible, friendly and truly care about the welfare of the dogs. It puts a big smile on my face everyday when I get that text message saying the walk is done and everything is fine. Keeps me from worrying about my babies during my long work day.

There aren’t enough superlatives to express how wonderful Jenny and her gang of walkers are. They’ve been ultra-​accommodating, friendly, and always leave our puppy happy. They go out of their way to help and even are able to work with us for last minute requests. Did I mention our puppy LOVES them!!! There isn’t another dog walking company out there that can provide this level of service and attention. I completely and unequivocally recommend them to anyone who cares about their furry friend.
