Eh it was alright. They we’re out of white pizza. The pizza was weird tasting & it was overpriced. Oh well, won’t be coming back here.

Rosco’s is the best place to grab a slice and hang out with a friend. The pizza is relatively cheap(by the slice!) and they have plenty of drink options(IPAs, pale ale, ciders). The pizza is classic and delicious. They heat up the slices for you so the crust stays hard but the cheese and sauce are hot and gooey. Honestly, fantastic. The space is small, with eight or so tables but it’s very relaxed and has a great atmosphere. The people behind the counter are very nice and there is a tv in the corner but most people are just laughing, talking, and inhaling pizza with friends. You should be there too. If you are in Crown Heights in need of a slice, stop by Rosco’s, no question!

I often drop by for a slice and a pint, and have always been satisfied. The pizza is on par –1 for a by the slice joint, and beer is pretty solid. It’s also worth noting that I’ve only ever heard Phish or the Dead being played here, which is kind of entertaining. Def rec this place for multifaceted crunchiness.

Whatever you do– never get a delivery. Expect wait times of over 2 hours. And cold. Terrible delivery, these idiots need to get a lesson in how to properly run a delivery business. If the pizza was phenomenal, it still wouldn’t be acceptable. But this is pretty mediocre. Boy are they lucky they are one of the few pizza places in crown heights or else they would have been out of business ages ago.

The pizza is kind of hit or miss. Often great sometimes inexplicably bad. But the real problem is their delivery. Multiple times now I’ve had pizzas arrive 2HOURS after ordering them. I vowed I would never get delivery from them again but thee are fewer and fewer pizza delivery options in Crown Heights North. If you go into eat in the shop it’s good and fairly quick. Seems like they could fix this problem pretty easily.

Finally got a chance to try this place and it lived up to expectations. Pizza is on the pricey side, especially for a glorified pizza counter, but it’s definitely tasty.(Maybe a touch greasy, but that will obviously depend on your toppings.) I’m dinging them a star for the cost and because their chicken parmesan was very mediocre.

I only gravitate to this pizza shop when I don’t feel like ordering from other locations. There is really nothing special about their pizza. This is a review from my kids: the pizza is too cheesy and bulky and chewy. You keep chewing the cheese and the sprinkled cheese on top should be optional also the bread is too thin and gooey. Otherwise, it’s just meh. I personally like the salad and their delicious dressing. I’m just happy it’s in the neighborhood and a last minute resort when we have a pizza craving.

My girlfriend took me to this very unassuming, but incredible pizzeria for the first time today. and it instantly became one of my favorites! We got our slices with roasted garlic, which is HIGHLY recommended. Though the smell is super garlic-y, the taste is downright sweet and succulent. It really added tremendously to the overall taste of each slice. Price wise, it’s about standard for a Brooklyn pizzeria unless you come in during their happy hour when it’s 75¢ off per slice; the value is tremendous. We’ll definitely be stopping in again soon, and can’t wait to try all of the delicious pie variations they offer!

Ive gone here for lunch all the time and had great in person experiences. So I thought what the hell, lets do delivery. Its my first vavation in a year, and Im choosing to get a whole 2 days to myself with Fallout 4 when I do this — this is worth mention because Im plugged in(headphones, game, etc) so I specifically say during the order to call me as I wont hear the door. 45 mins later, the pizza guy calls me and gets angry with me for«not answering the door, I knocked for ten minutes». Whatever. Pay and tip then walk inside and open my pizza box to find attached below. Mangled, clearly miscarried pizza. I call, because its a $ 30 pizza. Complete lack of concern this has happened on the other end of the line. «Would you like a new pizza?» No, Ive waited 45 mins and Im starving, so Ill eat it, but this is concerning! «Ok, anything else?» The fact theyre this jaded to this is terrible, and Im just all around pissed. Ive loved going in to Roscos, but this may have soured it forever for me. Dont order delivery.

ok, the pizza at this place is good. it’s very tasty, and always satisfies a pizza craving. HOWEVER their delivery time is abysmal. We live half a mile away, and it always takes close to two hours(sometimes longer!!!) for delivery. The management is usually nice if we complain, and will give us a free pizza coupon. However, then when we order our free pizza, the delivery takes a long time AGAIN!!! Rosco’s!!! Please get it together with your delivery! I don’t always feel like walking half a mile to pick up a pizza. And honestly, if it wasn’t the best pizza in the vicinity, I would have stopped ordering from here long ago. I would have given this place 4 stars if it wasn’t for the delivery issues.

Once I had rosco’s deliver a pizza to a car stuck in the snow outside of my building. They haven’t let me down since. No complaints here. They’re my go to pizza place

This is a great pizza place. I like stopping by for a slice and the takeout is good too. There are a lot of pizza places in NYC. This is a really good one– nice New York style slices. Can’t go wrong with a cheese slice, but I think the veggie combinations are delicious(be adventurous with the by the slice case). Can’t say much more, but don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed. Granted, I rarely do the takeout(I usually walk in for a slice) so I’m not sure if that makes a difference.

Great pizza, good stuff on tap(they even have Sprecher root beer!). For a newer pizza joint it is pretty straightforward. I wish they were open later, and I wish they had AC! I only ding them a star because I have had slightly better pizza, but in a city like NYC you have to make legendary pizza to get 5 stars. This is merely great. I love their grandma slices and white pizza.

Typical NYC pizza place. Slices are huge, cheesy and New York style made. I got a cheese slice and a grandma slice(the square one pictured). The whole meal cost around 8 bucks for a coke and two slices. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend for a quick bite!

We ordered from Roscoes on a Saturday night. They estimated about an hour for our delivery, which was fine, as it was a rainy weekend night and we figured many others were doing the same thing. We just wanted a large pizza and mozzarella sticks. We called them after an hour and twenty minutes as we still didn’t have our order. They said they’d contact the driver and it should be there soon since he’s already left. Called again after another twenty minutes of not hearing from the driver. After that call, the driver called us in five minutes, and got to us about ten minutes after that. By the time we got our pizza, it was barely warm. Pizza was fine– would have been better, you know, warm. The mozzarella sticks tasted weird – they had a taste of being overcooked/burnt or fried in some bad oil. We couldn’t even finish it. Wasn’t impressed by this place, unfortunately. Won’t be rushing back.

As other reviewers have said this is a great neighborhood spot. I was visiting friends who took me here, and the slice options were great. Everything was delicious, fast, cheap, and fresh. The music was awesome and the other patrons and décor give it a nice vibe. I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to go back, but if I lived in their hood I would totally be a regular.

Truth be told I didn’t get it when Rosco’s opened. Did the area need another pizzeria with Barboncino a couple of blocks away? But while they both do pizza, they are quite different and appeal to me for different reasons. While Barboncino is a traditional Italian pizza restaurant, Rosco’s is the classic Italian-American style corner pizza joint. I frequently find myself at Rosco’s when i feel like a quick bite, need to refuel before or after drinking or I want a hero. They do excellent pizza by the pie or slice. While all have been satisfying the pepperoni and grandma slice are 2 standouts. In addition to pizza you can get heroes, rice balls, garlic knots and pasta dishes. The are also vegetarian friendly. Not just limited to a plain cheese slice the usually have a veggie slice, and white slice in addition to eggplant parm hero. In addition they serve beer and have a TV which is usually tuned to local sports. I have one wish/criticism though I wish they stayed open later. During the week they close at 11pm(and have run out of pizza before than). On weekends midnight. Nothing like ending a night with a few good slices.
