They had(yeah I’m using past tense here) amazing rugelah and coffee with a interesting décor… Not sure what happened it was an a-ok place! But yes, it is closed.

Got an iced tea and an ice coffee on a sunny August day. The drinks were regular Brooklyn boutique-y pricey but hey — this is not Dunkin Donuts. Both were fine. The only food items that I saw were their little croissant-esque pastries. I tried the leek/ricotta and the vanilla ones. They were good and pretty inexpensive. Nice place to drop in for a little snack.

A welcome haven after wandering around Brooklyn for far too long. All I needed was a restroom to change in, a seat to sit in and decaf coffee. Apparently, those three things are almost impossible to find within reasonable walking distance. That said, I great appreciated my flavorful iced decaf Americano, trendy atmosphere, nice art on the walls, bathroom, and friendly barista. It was a chill, not over-crowded spot with good coffee or a variety of beverage options whatever your fancy may be. Hopefully, I can come back for a rugelach next time I’m in the area!

Hub and I had their iced latte that reminded us of the Groundwork Coffee in LA. Except Groundwork was one of the first certified organic coffee roaster in southern CA. Organic certification is one of the best ways to ensure that the coffee grown is not exposed to harmful pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides. Roogla’s is not bad but their espresso shot is fairly weak compared to La Colombe Torrefaction(2 espresso shots). Service was great and friendly! I do like the laid-back vibe with the seating and the display of art work. And their rugelach looks too good to pass up. Maybe on my next visit.

it’s a bit further down smith than the other coffee shops, but is well worth it if you want to pair with a rugelach(Sp?!). I’m not a huge fan of pastries so would pass. Iced latte was strong and delicious though. Space is bit large and empty… so good if you want to have a book club or other larger gathering.

Oh man, if there was a way to shrink myself into an itty bitty Lilliputian and curl up into one of the cups here, I’d do it. Even though the décor feels a little industrial(which I actually think is pretty rad), the staff’s cheerful demeanor makes it feel cozy and warm. I am admittedly a coffee snob so naturally I was curious about what forty weight blends they were brewin’ up — at the suggestion of the barista I went for the Sumatra since I’d already had the Guatemala before and was not disappointed. I also nabbed a savoury rugelach which was delicious! Even though it’d be out if my way for a daily stop, it might be worth it!

This is an excellent little coffee shop. It doesn’t offer much of a food menu(which is generally important for me), but the soy latte I had made up for it, so I gave it four stars instead of three. The seating is pretty minimal, despite being a rather open and roomy space. There’s lovely counter seating by the window, but it was quite hot there with the sun shining in, so we sat elsewhere. Oh yeah, and it’s REALLY hard to resist the DIVINE aromas wafting from their ovens. Good gracious.

Nice place on Smith St — friendly, spacious and inviting. Couple tables with comfy seats and long counter along the window — stools are funky and each design is unique. Check them out! Great espresso, and rugelash is pure heaven(all of them!).

Fast and friendly service. Expensive but delicious coffee and the rugelach is amazing! I like having this place as an option in the neighborhood. Intelligentsia, convenience, and customer service will always be a winning combination. If only their prices were slightly cheaper… then we’d have a real winner.

Since moving to Cobble Hill I’ve been looking for a new coffee shop. This one seems to fit the bill! It’s inexpensive, but good, and the staff members are all really nice. Perfect spot right off Smith St. and close to shopping, etc. A great place to relax or get some work done!
