Great local pizza and looks like a legit pizza establishment. Delivery takes forever but worth the extra walk from PFC.

Ordered from them occasionally in the past. Usually a solid 3 – 4; decent pizza. This review is for today’s order. I ordered a large pie and an order of garlic knots. I live about 4 – 5 blocks away and they delivered it within a half hour. Very good so far. The pizza was cold, not warm at all. It had almost no taste and tasted as if it was just sitting around for a while and they just boxed it up and sent it out when I placed my order. The garlic knots were cold and dry and they tasted as if they too were just sitting around for a while. In addition the garlic knots were on a paper plate in a paper bag. Any decent place would wrap warm knots in aluminum foil to kkep them warm and moist. In addition, if they made the pizza when I ordered it, it should take 10 – 15 minutes to make and be warm if delivered 4 – 5 blocks away. Very very disappointed. Will not be ordering from there again.

This is our go to place for our weekly pizza. The food is always great, always hot and fresh. There is always one person in our party who orders a salad of some sort and I will say that for a pizza joint their salads are very good.

A few months back I wrote a critical review of Rocco’s. Mostly because of delivery issues. They have apparently addressed that. When Rocco’s is on their game, they are simply the best around. Not just their pizza, but their heroes and entrees. They also make a GREAT bacon cheeseburger. As good or better than any diner I’ve been to. I heartily recommend Rocco’s at 123 Brighton Beach Avenue. 5 stars!

One of the better pizza places in Bay Ridge. Crust is fantastic and slices are good sized. Also have tried the Philly cheesesteak and it is on point as well. Very generous portion of steak, and overall a well made sandwich. Ordered from Grubhub a few times, they are always on time and are generally earlier than their quoted time. Definitely worth trying.

Pretty good pizza, matter of fact the only good pizza in Brighton beach. They have burgers and other non pizza place menu items as well but I just stick with the pizza. Their delivery time is usually pretty good too.

Although the menu has changed from what I’ve been told from more of a traditional Italian menu to American fare options, but the underlying feel of a real Brooklyn pizza parlor remains. Wings, wraps and burgers represent a changing of the guard in the Brighton Beach community, leaving in its wake ravioli and spaghetti dishes to wash up upon the shore of a time that’s now past. What does remain is my new pal Anthony and his wonderfully appointed options including exotic and traditional slices that sit proudly on the front counter just daring you to look. Once you do, your a buyer. But on this day I’m thinking entrees, penne & vodka sauce, baked shells yet leaving without a regular slice would be next to impossible. The penne could have used one more half ladle and the shells were scrumptious and a nice side of Italian bread filled out my to go lunch perfectly. Great pix of NYC Italian actors and athletes adorn the walls keeping the pride of Italians a little reminder of the areas history.

Came with a bunch of friends. according to my friend this was the best pizza in Brooklyn, which i highly doubt. This pizza place is very small, i think the story behind this pizza place was first owned my Italian, but then it got taken over by Russians, this is according to what my friend was saying. The Pizza they had was ok nothing special, when i got my pizza the dough was not cooked all the way to doneness. it was no problem for me but for some people if its raw they will not eat it. the staffs are nice and friendly. Overall its a nice small pizza place. will come back whenever i am in the neighborhood.

Stopped in today for a slice after hearing a friend rave about the place. The first thing I noticed was that the place was spotless and the man behind the counter was helpful and friendly. My slice had a great thin crust but for $ 2.75 a slice, there was just an average amount of cheese. So while I think the price is a little high for what your get, it is well made Brooklyn pizza and if you order two slices, they give you a free soda which makes their slices price more competitive for the neighborhood.

Horrible pizzeria. Service is alright, but pricing is excessive. Over the course of a month, the price for olives as a topping increased by $ 0.25, and the amount of olives on the actual pizza reduced by 90%!! They put almost no olives. I used to order from them all the time. I think now is the time to search for other pizzerias around the area. Prices are getting too high for worse food.

Been coming here 47 years now, and hope to come another 47. That would make me 124, but I like the place that much

Used to be one of my favorite pizza places, but I ordered from there the other day and the food is bland and has no taste whatsoever, won’t be ordering from them ever again after the horrible experience.

I think this is probably the best pizza in Brooklyn. I mean I’ve ate around and I’ve tried many different places but this it the one that really stood out to me. I don’t remember this being a part of my childhood and I feel like I’ve really been missing out. Their spinach rolls are really good and cheesy. I love things with a lot of cheese but not too much where it gets annoying, and this is like the perfect amount. The price wasn’t terrible either, I’ve been to places that charge a lot more for like half a roll. Probably gonna end up traveling all the way to brighten just for pizza because now nothing else is gonna cut it. Really enjoyed it, coming back again!

Rocco’s has been a staple in my life since I was a little boy. A once Italian run pizza joint seems to be run by Russians these days, unless that’s just what I see upfront. It’s not like I venture back to the kitchen and chat with the chef. I always loved their pizza. But it has lost a step. Still not bad, but not what it once was. And, their dishes while once great, seem to be more okay these days. It’s hard to give up on a place that has been a part of my life for more than 30 years. But I really don’t seek Rocco’s out much these days. If not for so little options, I would probably not bother with them anymore. But like I said, it’s not like it’s bad. It’s just not great like it once was.

This is a cute little pizzeria, they have many good specialty style pizzas. They have really good chicken rolls as well. The main reason i like this place is for their assortment of drinks, as they literally have a bigger selection than my local supermarket. They also provide free, fast delivery for orders more than $ 10. The store is oldish, and after Hurricane Sandy, its time for a little face lift.

Now this pizzeria is in a weird location nowadays at least. There used to be a sizable amount of Italians in Coney Island, but nowadays its in the center of Little Odessa. Its also interesting in that among the customary pictures of famous Italians and saints, there’s a large section of the wall devoted to handball tournaments in the city, as well as 2 pictures of Batman and the Joker from the Dark Knight. There’s plenty of seating and the prices here are also a bit higher than other pizzerias in the area, but there’s a reason for that. This pizzeria uses noticibly fresher ingredients than others around here, and it shows in the product. I got a slice with tomato sauce, fresh mozz, basil, and fresh sliced tomatos. The tomatos tasted like they’d been cut just a couple of minutes before, and the fresh mozz was very good as well even though there ws ar to it. The crust, while too dense, still retained some flavor, but the sauce was pretty sparse. It was a solid, very fresh tasting slice, which could’ve been much better with a better crust. I wouldn’t reccomend coming all the way down the boardwalk just to visit this place(that honor belongs to Totonno’s, and rightfully so), but if you’re in Brighton Beach and do not want Russian food, then this is an excellent option.
