Don’t get anything from the refrigerators here. If you feel inside, they don’t keep anything cold. Drinks that aren’t perishable are probably OK to consume but I wouldn’t suggest any foods.

This is the worst Rite Aid I’ve ever been too. What really sucks is it’s the closest to my apartment so I find myself still going there. There’s always a ridiculously long line at the checkout which drives me nuts. The pharmacy once refilled my birth control and labeled it with my gastroentologist’s information– that gave me a real laugh. They need a serious management revamp at this location!

Pharmacy staff enormously un-helpful. Pedantic and unwilling to call dr’s office even when they had dropped the ball on a scrip for a week.

This place is a joke and the customer service here is terrible. The management is not helpful when dealing with rude employees and the staff members in the pharmacy department. The African American women was so rude towards me and my bf. Guess she was too busy flirting with the customer to help me find information about my prescription .I will not come. here no more, even though this is my neighborhood pharmacy. The lines are super long and never have enough cash register open. The cashiers are rude and impatient. This is not fair for the customers. I will not be coming here no more. Good luck everyone I will never come here no more. I would give this place with 0 to half a star but there is no option for that.

I am rating this Rite Aid for it’s decent beer selection. Lagunitas IPA, boom. It gets bumped down one star for not having the best toenail clipper selection. And also for its deodorant display case, which beeps and alarms if you keep it open too long. I am browsing here, people! Stop watching me research how I keep my pits from stankin!

What is UP with this Rite Aid. I hate the fact that it’s so unreliable because it’s a few blocks from my house but I post this review as a warning to anyone attempting to use the pharmacy. They have issues back there, I mean I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve had mistakes, 2 of the same thing in my bag, I got there to pick up and they mixed up my insurance so didn’t fill my Rx and it was THEIR misunderstanding(thanks, I have nothing else to do but wait all day when I’m sick)…the list goes on. They have actually mixed up prescriptions because of the fact that more than one physician called different items in for my husband. I feel like they get the worst graduates from pharmacy school. The best part about the Rx department is that they will ring you up when there is a crazy line at the front(there almost always is). Second problem, the LINES. What in the world is going on in there? Any random time you go in there there is a line that stretches across the entire row of registers back to the first aisle where the fridge is. I’m talking like 25 people and somehow, the manager doesn’t call up additional workers to open more registers. Yes, they got ya covered if you need your toothpaste, deoderant, soap, etc albeit more expensive than Target which isn’t too far. They also have a nice selection of seasonal items and good sales. But seriously, do NOT go in there unless you have 25 minutes to wait in line for your three dollars-worth of purchases. And save yourself the hassle and take to your prescription to someplace on Cortelyou.

If you need a pharmacy, this place is a bad choice. It takes forever, even when there’s no one else in line. I have to check the prescription before you walk away, because they mix things up. Every time I go they claim they never got my prescription, or they only got one of them and then somehow it all gets sorted out, eventually, and they had the information the whole time. It may be on my way home, but it’s always a mistake.

I wish this pharmacy wasn’t the closest pharmacy to my apartment because every time I go there’s a problem. Sometimes they give me the wrong medication and sometimes they give me the wrong amount. I now know that I have to check the prescription before I leave the counter otherwise I’ll probably end up back in line trying to sort out whatever mistake happened. Every time a doctor calls in a prescription I have trouble picking it up. Every single time the pharmacy will tell me that there’s nothing waiting for me and I need to follow up with the doctor. Then, after I talk to the doctor and they confirm that they did indeed send it to the pharmacy, I go back to the pharmacy and push them to look harder. Then somehow, magically, it’s right there in front of them. Now I’ve stopped bothering to follow up with my doctor and instead just insist that the pharmacist looks harder for the prescription. They always manage to find it, but always tell me it’s not there to start off with. What gives?

It seems that every time I go here they are sold out of what I want. Also there is almost always a long line at the checkout. The store is a bit cluttered but the people who work here are by and large friendly and helpful.

This Rite Aid on average is okay. It usually has the items I need to purchase. However, there is a cashier in this store you need to avoid(she’s there on Mondays, wears glasses and has a mole on her face). She lacks good customer service skills. I went to Rite Aid today to purchase a 14-lb box of Arm & Hammer cat litter on sale, and she told me it wasn’t available and I had to take a rain check. What I find problematic about her is the attitude with which she presents herself. When I returned to the store several hours later, two boxes of the litter mysteriously appeared on the shelves. In addition, I must mention the Lines in this store. Whenever there are more«loss prevention associates»(and they will never be confused for Rhodes or Marshall Scholars) than cashiers, you have a problem.

Oh man … the wait time at the pharmacy is outrageous. I’ve had to go there twice and it’s a pretty long, awful wait. I don’t know why that is. That said, the customer service is fantastic; the pharmacists are pleasant and helpful. I actually needed to pick up malaria pills and my local RiteAid didn’t have any, so the pharmacist got in touch with her friend at this RiteAid. I don’t know if this is standard practice, but I was thrilled that I was able to pick up my pills on such short notice.

This RiteAid always has a huge line, too few cashiers, and the layout makes no sense(why is the Benadryl anti-itch two aisles away from the Benadryl allergy relief?). Unfortunately, they have zero incentive to make it any better because it’s the only major drugstore in the area.

This is the worst pharmacy I’ve been to. It’s very close to where I live, but I’ve stopped going there. The staff is consistently slow, and the wait times to fill a prescription are long, even when there’s no other customer to be seen. Final straw: I tried to get my RX filled, and was told I’d need my doctor to call my insurance company to justify the medication. My doctor did so. We all waited for United Healthcare to call the doctor or the pharmacy and give their approval. Turned out, the pharmacist just never read the screen in the first place. All they had to do was hit ‘override’ and I could have had the meds right away, instead of waiting three days. Or they could have called the number below the override code, and been told the same thing. If this were a sandwich or t-shirt purchase, it would be permissible. This is medication. It’s not.
