My comfort food!!! No matter day or night. Absolutely the best! It really is the best kept secret in Sunset Park!!! Isabel is the best waitress, always has a smile and gets the order right!!! Leave a good tip, it’s well worth it!!!

Great little spot to grab an authentic taco or burrito. Everything is made to order so the wait might be a little long if your in a hurry. Beef tacos were tasty and the ingredients were fresh.

Hands down the best tacos in NYC! And the chicken quesadilla(with everything) is to die for. Very authentic Mexican restaurant. Delivery takes forever thats the only downside so I recommend pick up.

Worst service ever. Went in with my husband once around 9 – 10 pm there was barely any food. The lady asked if they could serve is scrapes of food at a lower price and their drinks are to sweet. We sat close to the bathroom which really stinks and have lots of drunks going in and out. The waitresses there don’t care they are on their phones while they wait for you to call them over instead of coming over themselves 0⁄10

Reason for two stars is the service. Service if I can I would give –5 stars. I always call this place same lady picks up says hold up puts the phone down and forgets about it. I actually once wanted to see how long they would leave me on hold so I left my phone on speaker, after 30 minutes I walked over to the place with my phone still on hold. I walk up to the counter and the same lady goes«how can I can help» I look at her and say«you can take my order, I’m on the phone for 30 minutes still waiting» she looks at me confuse and didn’t even say anything. I simply just laughed and walked out sad thing is I know who the owners are and I mentioned the problem to them but then don’t seem to have the heart to fire her. They are great people which is why I still bother to order from here. Food: def good tacos nothing beats having these at 2AM after some drinks. Burritos it’s a hit or miss sometimes it’s great and sometimes it’s not. Order a torta de pollo it’s great. The only reason they got the 3 star is because of the food. If it’s based on food only 4 stars. If you don’t mind waiting long for your food to be delivered like 30 mins go for it. If you just want Mexican food just order from Taco Matamoros great place also. That’s where I order from when I get put on hold for 5 mins or more I call matamoros. Today called Ricos waited 6 min and 35 sec hung up called matamoros within 1 min 16 sec my order was taken. Don’t even know how’s this even possible.

Delicious! Their tacos are the best! Small but very filling! A lot of protein! Definitely not stingy on the meat! Everything’s good, the sauce, their drink, etc. Except their soup, tried beef tripe soup something in that category, it was horrible but that doesn’t stop me from loving their tacos! Too bad they don’t have online orders.

Waited 40 minutes(around 12am) for an order to be made, to-go. Only one woman making all of the orders. Then they left two tacos out! Absolutely absurd. Beef and Pork Tacos were tasty, but greasy. Beef quesadilla could have done without. Chicken Tostada was okay, but chicken was very dry.

When I go there, I always choose Burritos because they are excellent ! and they aren’t expensive at all, only $ 9. And each time, like they are very big, I eat only one half of the Burrito. But there is one negative point, it’s the waiting. when you choose delivery, you can wait until 1;30 hours !

Great food for the price but TERRIBLE service. Waitress insisted on finishing her conversation and laugh before taking my order. It took 45 minutes for me to finally get my order… which was only 4 tacos.

Their tacos are good BUT communicating with them is kind of difficult & for delivery, the lady always say 10 minutes. But it comes like 40 minutes — 1 hr later. I called them to ask about the order, but I can’t even communicate to tell her how long I’ve waited. I don’t know if anyone else experienced this.

Tacos taste like Taos should. Small, very fresh, tastes from Mexico, but slow service. The place is small, but that doesn’t mean their food isn’t good. We tried few types besides tacos, but I think they will do good if they will stay with tacos. Fresh, delicious, little slow, but worth the wait.

Rico’s is an authentic, hole in the wall place. My favorite to get here is the el pastor soft tacos. It’s a must try. This place is cheap and delicious. The only complaint I have is the service. The wait can be long, and the staff are not the friendliest. I only order food to-go here, and they frequently get my order wrong. Despite this, I come here at least twice a week because of the al pastor and green sauce.

Great Mexican place with huge burritos for good prices. You should definitely order the chicken one($ 9). Only negative point is about the time you have to wait for you order(30 minutes when you eat there to 1h30min when you choose delivery)

This place is horrible, I don’t know why they would even call themselves«ricos» they got nothing that says ricos on this restaurant. the pico de gallo and hot sauce sit on a pantry where the flies are roaming. When I visited the restaurant there was dead flies on the window sill. I asked the server to remove it and she was grossed out by it that she did not remove it. I wont visit this place again.

I haven’t had enough from the menu to give it 5 stars, what’s so special? Their guacamole. It’s thin enough to be a salad dressing but the flavor and spice is great. The meal portions are good, it’s a small restaurant, the rest room is small and there’s free pico de gallo if you dine in. It helps if you can read/speak Spanish.

Authentic, legit Mexican restaurant. Only stopped in for a bite but wouldn’t mind going back if I was ever in the area. I had an Al Pastor taco and it was quite delicious, really good flavors. The service is slow but polite, the vibe is very casual and family-oriented. Only real drawback is that we went on the hottest day of the summer and they apparently don’t have AC so it was a sweatbox in there.

A 25 minute wait for 6 little tacos on a Tuesday afternoon… was not even that busy. I was only crossing fingers that I would not get a ticket for parking at the hydrant right out front. Phew, I didn’t. Thought it would’ve been a smooth and easy take out if I had an easy order. Two of each: Chicken, Spicy Pork, and Beef. Got home, stomach growling and everything, after all this, I take a bite into dry pieces of chicken. Okay, I still got my all time fave, the Spicy Pork, not even spicy. My last hope, oily beef. Not even that, they were rolled up in parchment paper, which it got stuck on to the tacos after being steamed in the take out container along with the grease from the beef. For now, I’ll just say it was an off day.

Rico Suave has his own taco shop. It’s really very good! You’re gonna love it! He also owns Suave shampoo by the way. What to get: Arabes tacos, Huaraches, and Horchata What else: Ricooooooo. Suaaaaaaaaaave. I’ll be brief, like a pair of boxers. The horchata here is fantastic. They make a special kind of taco called«Arabes» which is supposed to be Middle Eastern influenced. It’s sliced off a big thingy, sort of like Pastor. It tastes great. They smother it in very unusual sauce. I love it. You can also get other types of Mexi-stuff here such as Huaraches. These thick, delicious thingamijiggies have a very greasy yummy squidgy base and are like heaven. They’re even better than tacos. Try one. Wash it down with some Horchata. Thank me later. This is some of the best Mexican food in Brooklyn — on its day. I think that’s what the main issue is. I’ve eaten here 3 times. Once was phenomenal. Once was mediocre. And once was pretty damn good. All three times I ordered similar things(tacos, huaraches and horchata). The main inconsistency is the Horchata. One day it’ll be one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Another day it’s not really very good. But you know… if you get it on a good day. You’re in luck. And if it were a «De Gallo» kind of place, it’d be Pico’s Tacos. If it were full of smokers it’d be Nico-tine’s Tacos. If it sold candy, it’d be Lico-rice’s Tacos. And if it were a sex shop, it’d be D*ck-O’s Tacos. And probably way more popular. Alas, it just sells food. But it’s damn good food.

Things that make this joint my favorite spot 1. Hole in the wall; authentic 2. Guacamole sauce is like ice cream and I drain my food with it. 3. Cheap. I order so many things on the menu and the bill is still so cheap. Favorite things to order on the menu 1. Steak tostada 2. Steak taquitos Note: when it’s busy, the wait for the food can be long. So long that you get delirious and angry. Once food hits the table, you become barbaric.
