Red Hook Container Terminal

I came here for a special event that Absolut threw at the Pier called, «Absolut Nights.» I never would have imagined that an event held at the Red Hook Container Terminal could have possibly been so much fun! The only reason that I only gave it 4 stars, is because the actual entry process was horrible. I came early and was in the first group of people slated to go in and still managed to take an hour and a half to get in.
Otherwise, there were unexpected performances by Araab Muzik and Zedd, free food trucks, open bar drinks served up in mason jars, and photo booths, so I definitely can’t complain. The futuristic feel of the bar setups and the stage were incredible. They even had the unexpected Zedd performance kick off by him being lowered down inside of one of the shipping containers by a crane overhead. Definitely above and beyond.
