Record Store

Benny is a great owner; his store“s eclectic mix of unusual rock, funk, soul and jazz titles met my vinyl needs! I found some excellent recordings on various labels. Benny offers a good turntable and AKG headphones to test the vinyl. I will be back.

Record Store (a temporary name), has hidden gems for vinyl junkies. The owner Bene (pronounced Benny), is a cool & knowledgable music lover who carries a great collection of used records with a variety of genres like exotica, hip-​hop, r&b, rock, & more.
The atmosphere of the shop feels welcoming & homey, sorta like passing by a friend’s house to check out their personal record collection. For me, the best part of the shop is the setup in the corner where there is a lounge chair with an ottoman & a turntable so you can relax & chill while previewing your finds. I have never felt at ease when shopping for records with my significant other until walking into this place.
Bene informed us that the store is in the works of becoming more than just a record shop. He has events for musicians to perform & provides a space for instructors to teach music to those who are interested.
When leaving the shop, it was hard not to stop for a quick second to watch Bene change the record on his turntable in the front window. You can see the enthusiasm on his face & feel his passion for music as he laid down the needle for the next tune.
