I typically go to Manhattan barbers where I spend a whole lot more money than I did here; but I’ve been stupid busy lately and my hair’s been getting unruly so I needed a quick cut. I was concerned about getting a cut in this neighborhood because my experiences before have left me with the precise angular details that seem to fit hispanic men but look goofy as hell on a white guy like me. I’d seen this place and decided to give it a go. First off, the price was $ 10 which blew my mind. How can you run a store and pay yourself on $ 10 haircuts that take 2 – 30 minutes? However he does it, Paul does and he did a good job on my hair. Unlike many barbers even at those expensive places he did EXACTLY what I told him, not taking any liberties. It’s not the best haircut I’ve ever had but it’s better than a lot of them, it’s what I asked for, and it’s a great price. Plus, it turned out to be a nice quaint little place, with a friendly guy who most customers seem to know already. Very nice environment.
