I truly love this place. Great service, wonderful, subtle environment, amazing place to relax and have nice bourbon and coke or whatever else you want.

For those of you who don’t love Parish then you don’t know Parish! Firstly, it is NOT a sports bar! There are 2TV’s(not 300) and almost never have the volume on! This is a beautifully decorated, great vibe cocktail bar which was badly needed in Park Slope(especially 7th Ave). It may feel more like a Manhattan bar, but Brooklyn is the new Manhattan! Embrace it! The owners and bartenders are extremely nice — I’ve never experienced«rude»!! The cocktail are different and good(the ones I have sampled). The cheese/meat plate is yummy. High quality choices of actual good charcuterie and cheese which you can’t find a lot of in the slope. I give it 5 stars. if you don’t agree then give it another try!

Parish is just what park slope needed, great drinks served by lovely people. I always feel so welcomed and I love the food and sturdy cocktails.

Watered down drinks and a bar staff that doesn’t know a Manhattan from a bud light. Nuff said. Spend your money elsewhere. I recommend Blueprint in the neighborhood.

I went here twice in my visit to Brooklyn(my previous hometown. I would have given 5 stars in the past. The first time I went with 2 friends, and i think it deserved 2 stars. The sampler cheese/meat platter was chintzy, the wine pours were short, and they were significantly understaffed. When I went the second time during the same week, I think it deserved 4 stars. The camembert was amazing, and they gave us the same generous portion that they served in the past. The wine was good. They were still significantly understaffed, and we waited a long time to get the check, and even longer for the bartender/waitress/food prep woman to give it back so that we could tip and close out. it was frustrating, but she still deserved a 20% tip.

Love this spot. Great for weekday zen, more lively on weekends. Constantly changing drafts suit me nicely, and everyone else seems to like their cocktail and wine menu. Food is top notch charcuterie, atmosphere is relaxed and warm, lounge seating and a nice big bar. This is my work neighborhood favorite.

Great Park Slope version of a neighborhood bar. All the camaraderie of a friendly dive bar in a sleek modern setting with top shelf drinks and«salumi» for munchies. Parrish is a comfortable place for everyone from the stroller moms to the sports fans to the old farts like me.

Amazing cocktails, generous portions on the delicious meat and cheese platters(usually we go for a drink and then make a meal of it!), and most nights there is a $ 5 beer/wine happy hour. Great service and they make incredible gin martini’s. It’s our go-to in the neighborhood for drinks!

Nice beer. Great beer specials. Great cocktails. Real cocktail bar. There’s not much in the way of food, but the cheese plates are always yummy. This is such a nice place to go in Park Slope for a drink with friends. There are TVs at the bar of you want to watch something sporty, but the seats in the back and on the patio are TV-free if you don’t. There’s always been a nice drink special when I’ve visited, too. And not a lot of kids around.

Parish was pretty quiet when I came in on a Friday, but the drinks were A-OK. I had a champagne and elderflower cocktail, and my date had the Parish Cocktail, which certainly packed a punch. If you are looking for an intimate setting, where you can hear your partner, and not looking for a rowdy crowd, then I recommend Parish. And I bet if you tell the bartender what liquors you like, he will concoct something delicious.

parish is like my second home, even if I’m not drinking it’s an awesome place to go hang out and watch the game and eat their delicious artisanal meats and cheeses. their cocktail Fraise Desaulter is to die for and absolutely delicious. the staff is unbelievable and the atmosphere is really comfortable. the owner LisaAnne is one of the most kind sweetest people you’ll ever meet and she definitely makes sure all of her customers are enjoying their time and drinks. I highly recommend to at least give this place a shot, you won’t be disappointed!

I really wanted to like this bar, given its proximity to my home. However it seems a bit out of place for Park Slope. We walked in on a chilly Wednesday night looking for a drink. We were detered by both the interior, the staff and the high prices(I know I know it’s New York, but still… we’re in Brooklyn here!).

Some of the drinks are yummy but the TVs make relaxing and socializing here unpleasant and distracting. If you try to sit in some of the more sleek seating or outside, it takes a long time to get served. It’s also a really loud bar — especially the back patio. I don’t love it as a bar patron or as a neighborhood resident. Really wish they were more considerate.

As a resident of Park Slope, this has turned out to be my favorite bar in the area. The venue is modern and trendy with a bar that offers plenty of space and seatings. Nice and friendly bartenders who greets us as we enter. Cocktails are within a good price range in comparison to Manhattan and other parts of this neighborhood, and they are very good. I recommend the Fraise Desaulter and the Sidecar. The $ 5 cheese and meat menu is what I love about this place. We have almost been through most of the menu, and I have no complaints! The only complaint I have is that the bartenders tend to run a bit slow when there are larger crowds there, so you spend some time waiting to order and then on actually getting the drinks. But considering how popular it is late at night on the weekends, I usually don’t mind the wait. If you are looking for a bar in the area, Parish is the place to go! I absolutely recommend it and will continue to come back.

I am LOVING this sleek, modern, new hot spot. I can’t wait for the summer to enjoy their back outdoor space. The drinks were excellent, the atmosphere is on point — a great time had by all! :) Eddie Going

To the Unilocaler who keeps insisting that this a sports bar with 300TV’s: There are two large screen tv’s and a projector in the back. I wouldn’t hang out there if it was some insane sportsbar, believe me. It’s a great little classy neighborhood cocktail and wine place that was sorely needed on 7th avenue.

Parish has quality, well poured cocktails($ 11ish each) and a selection of beer/wine that one would expect in Park Slope. They also have a good menu of meat and cheese for only $ 5 a selection. All that being said– the service Parish provides is so sub standard compare to it’s drinks I am not sure I’ll be back there again unless I have an hour to spend on 1 drink and 1 order of charcuterie. I have gone in groups for an evening and by myself for a quick drink at different times of the year. I keep wanting to love this bar, but they keep breaking my heart. The bartenders forget about the tables in the back and become overwhelmed making sure they tell you how very very very overwhelmed they are. I don’t go to nice bars to be complained to by the people running the bar. I also don’t appreciate being told«oh I’m sorry! I forgot you, we’re very busy». Parish needs to hired an experienced cocktail waitress, someone to prepare the cheese and charcuterie(instead of the bartender) on busy nights, and get rid of the TVs. I desperately want to like this bar– but the service is just so horrible.

Parish offers a cocktail lounge that’s modern, comfortable, upscale, hipster and way, way too dark at three o’clock on a Saturday afternoon. Parish offers a bevy of cocktails and wines, as well as a few hand-chosen harder-to-find craft beers that guarantee tasty sustenance while you bask in a blanket of utter darkness in the middle of the day. Want to go clubbing before sundown? Why not slip on some evening wear and slink on over to Parish for a sultry post-lunch sipper. This is a beautiful space and if I had another go, I’d likely come during the early evening hours, before the sophisticated crowd screws it all up. Low-slung couches and modular movable seats make this place easy to re-decorate as needed. But during our stay, we weren’t the only ones groping for a glimpse of one another in the middle of the day; sitting adjacent to the back door(comparatively more enlightened), I watched a group of six wandering the space, searching for additional light switches and burned bulbs. There weren’t any. It was just… strange. But I’m guessing every now and again, when the mood hits a couple of lovebirds just right, it lulls the unsuspecting into an all-day booze snooze.

I gave this place a 2-star review, and wrote the review below. A few days later, I get contacted by Unilocal, and they tell me that the review was not for the correct place, and that they’ve removed it. Nope, wrong. It IS for the correct place. Sounds to me like the business owners can’t handle criticism. Avoid this place. ORIGINALREVIEW: The inside is pretty. The cocktails are good. They’re not the best ever but they’re perfectly enjoyable and are priced right at around $ 11. It sounds like a pretty nice place to chill out and have some cocktails and some conversation, right? Wrong. This is a sports bar. When they designed this space they decided to hang roughly 300 TVs on the walls and crank the volume and play sports all the time. The«crowd» when I went consisted mostly of bros in hockey jerseys, smoking outside in between yelling at the 300 TVs and pounding tall boys. They were hanging out with some local looking older woman who was also into the sports. There were three yuppie couples, all wearing wedding bands(one half of one of those couples was me), looking confused and trying their darndest to enjoy their enjoyable drinks amidst the chaos. I think all of us left after one drink. I guess NYC is big enough for all kinds of things, including, now, a high-class Park Slope sports bar.

There’s really not a lot of bars along 7th ave walking from Flatbush, but this place is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. We snagged a drink here and I happened to notice a drink that listed the detail, «absinthe rinsed glass.» Now doesn’t that sound fancy? I opted for a strawberry flavored cocktail that was just like me – fruity, and deceptively strong!
