Palaite Pleasures and Fruit Bouquets

This place is ridiculous. I tried to send my mom an arrangement, from another state, on Mother’s Day. She never got it, even though it was fully paid for.
It was supposed to be a surprise, but the delivery kids started calling my mother at 9 pm, and hanging up on her.
She called them back and they told her that their car broke down and if she still wanted her delivery, it would have to be later because they had to take a bus.
They were laughing on the phone, and just purely unprofessional. They also scared my mother, now that they have her address.

First of all I want to say the other two reviews on here are complete bogus, total bullshit.
Not only are they a small and incapable inexperienced store located in brooklyn, they are affiliated with 1800-​flowers
My husband placed an order of a fruit bouquet with the words love on it for $ 95 on feb 12!!! I was suppose to receive it feb 13^th before 7pm!!!
That did not happen, instead I got a voicemail with a ditzy young girl telling me to call (718) 399‑7400 number instead of the
(347) 857‑5757 she called me from and also said «don’t be one of those people to call back to this number» along with a ridiculous laugh.
Really? How professional…
I called at 7pm and a woman who barely speaks English answered the phone, she told me my order was in route and will arrive in 40 minutes, two hours pass by and I call again only to be answered by a girl saying who’s this???
Really …
I said I was calling about an order. Proceeded to «look me up «and left me on hold for several minutes, a different person then picked up the phone and asked me what I was calling about…
After I gave her my name she said. «Oh your order will arrive feb 14 between 8am and 1 pm…
At 3 pm I called to only get a …
Well you know… You can get a fresh basket guaranteed before 11pm tonight.
WTF 11pm???

What do you know… It never came either on the 14^th
Two days and several unprofessional people on the phone later in this joke …
Day 15^th, I get a call from the «delivery guy» saying he should be by my place soon with the basket.
First of all a two day old basket is not what was paid for, I too of that the entire purpose of ordering was for a specific date, VALENTINeS DAY! Which did not happen.
I asked the driver what happened and he said they had some interns helping them out and one may have mixed up orders, great blame game which I do not care, I also did not receive a phone call apologizing either.
If you order a fruit bouquet from 1800 flowers beware!!!
The fruit basket was a total Crap basket, not like edible arrangements. This was complete mediocre and old. Chocolate fell off the fruits and the pineapples look like they were the last piece of pine apple lefts with eyes and peel.
