I have been going here since 2000, not to far from my home. its a bit run down, but I like the vibe and the food is okay. Its nice place if you want to get out of the house and have somthing to do, but do not want to go all the way to manhattan to do it. The«newbies» are the only ones complaining because they want to dominate the spot. go to williamsberg if you want to be around somthing familair. this place is a staple of our community and i still come here. used to go on dates with my boyfriend here and now he is my husband :)

DONOTORDERFROMWAITRESSESINPOOLROOM. You will have to go to the bar and order from your server who is sitting there doing nothing. They add 15% gratuity to all bills. I don’t mind the added gratuity if my server would check on me every once in a while. If I have to wait on you then I’m not going to tip you. I was discussing with my friend that it’s amazing that our server is sitting staring at the bar doing nothing and I have to tell her that I need a beer or go to her to order food, and that she expects a tip. No wonder she feels okay with sitting on her ass. She’s getting paid regardless. People that work here give the service industry a bad name. I have had other bad experiences here with different servers. Just don’t go here and pay for anything but pool. Eat elsewhere and byob. Paying 15% for nothing.

Food is surprisingly good and drinks are ok for the price. Great happy hour. Not the fanciest place on the block, but we keep coming back for casual afternoons/nights.

The wings are amazing! Nice crowd(over 21 only) and a great ambiance. It’s more of a sports bar to me but they have a lot of pool tables and a decent amount of people to chat and mingle with if you want to do that too. I love that they have angry orchard beer(my fav) and their wings are great! Just walked in on a Saturday night(party of 1) to watch the second half of the ball game over wings and beer. Was able to get a table and was served right away. Friendly staff too. You can have a private booth or sit at the bar. Everything was perfect.

Try the wings. I’m not a fan of boring barbecue wings but theirs are exceptional. And there are more pool tables than you’ll ever need and supposedly two bowling lanes. Cue balls and ten-pound balls go great together.

Went on a Friday evening. It’s a local spot if you want to play pool, ping pong or bowl. They have booths, and a bar area where they play various sports games. I ordered a Bahama mama it was good along with se fries and chicken fingers. The food was regular but they gave a lot of fries. I probably would come here again if nothing else was going on and wanted to get out for a night. Nothing spectacular and nothing bad it is just regular.

I don’t come here for the pool so I can’t review that aspect, but I do come here for the beer. They have an average selection of available domestics and imports, and the bar good is decent. It might be the only pool hall near Downtown Brooklyn, so unless you’re ok with traveling to Manhattan this is the place to go.

I have had my last 4 birthday parties here and spent 4 days a week frequenting this place. i used to spent enough money here to think i’d be respected. first off, the 15% auto tip is ridiculous! I ordered 1 completely watered down Jameson/ginger and complained. was brought another immediately and was all like cool! but 2nd was also watery, my guess is cause they water it down lol so I complain and say ya know what, just bring me a beer. I continue playing on the tables that haven’t been properly cleaned in 20 years covered in spit, spilled drinks and whatever else. at the end i was charged for BOTH gross drinks ANDTHE F***INGBEER! I haven’t been back since and won’t go back again. also, no matter how much you spend here, YOUWILLNEVEREVEREVEREVER get a buy back from the staff. — no buy backs — no birthday shots — no respect for the regulars(which is why none of them go here anymore) — no respect for the sport of pool — no janitorial staff — no management that gives a damn — NOT A LEGITPOOLHALL(either your a night club or pool hall… PICKONE!!!) ***Note to owner/management: visit Gotham Billiards, Skyline Billiards, BQE Billiards, Status Q Billiards or Hall of Fame Billiards to see how it’s done! All are in NYC/Brooklyn and EVERYSINGLEONE is better.

We’ve been here three weeks in a row now to watch football on Sunday. It’s alright, pretty cheap beer, mediocre food. The place is seriously mismanaged though. Great, huge space with lots of TVs. But the guy who is in charge of setting the channels does a terrible job. They promise every game on their ads, they definitely don’t have that. For the second round of games they usually forget to change the channel. In the bar section today, they had 2 blank tvs, and how I met your mother; why not put on a game? Women’s bathroom was disgusting, clearly not regularly cleaned. All of this might have been fine, but they also try to scam you. There’s a 15% automatically included gratuity(regardless of party size, only 2 of us), they don’t ever give you the itemized bill that shows this unless you ask. We asked for the itemized bill, and it showed the tip included, but the note that says«15% gratuity included» at the bottom had been crossed out. Super scummy!!! They also now asked us to provide our driver’s license number because they keep getting chargebacks – not surprising when they try to scam their customers.

Local hangout. You can have fun here, but it definitely has flaws. Old seats. Raggedy pool table cloth. Not a première place, but cool to hang and meet up with friends.

Bouncer yelled at me because I asked where security was when a fight broke out. He never approached the guys fighting. Thanks for not keeping me safe and telling me to calm down when I felt unsafe.

Pool, air hockey, bowling, tvs and a bar… what more could you ask for under one roof? This place is my go-to spot when I don’t have anything planned or we’re looking for something to do on a hookie day. The hold a card and you id at the front desk in order to use a pool table… don’t worry, they wont charge the card unless you give the green light. They charge by group/hour so be sure to ask for rates before you grab a table… also, inspect the table before you commit. It can get loud but not overwhelming. I can’t vouch for the bowling lanes but the air hockey and pool and pretty good… first dates, second dates, casual nights, etc. Cash and credit accepted.

I have been to this place a few times and it’s about the same each time. If you are just going to play pool or video/arcade games then your experience will likely be very jovial and fun. As for the service it definitely more hit and miss, though I will concede that the last time I was here our server was friendly, if not a bit inattentive. The food is ok, it all taste defrosted and recooked. The drinks were mostly flavor and very little alcohol. I honestly don’t even know if there was any alcohol in it. Eat before you come, just enjoy the games.

I would give this place 5 stars but they truly upset me tonight. Let me also say I’ve been here several times before and recommended this pool hall to others. A friend of mine decided to meet up for some pool tonight. While standing at the front desk, we realized they give discounts to college students Monday thru Thursday. I give the guy my drivers license and then tell my friend to remind me to show my college ID when it’s time to pay. Meanwhile, the guy working behind the desk is cracking jokes with us. When we go to pay, the other guy working says you were supposed to show your ID before starting. We look to the first guy like you saw/heard talking about it. He then points to small print stating show before the game. I ask the first guy why he didn’t tell us and he says you’re supposed to read on your own. I decided not to argue about it but that’s a real jerk move to hear someone talking about a discount and not say«Oh show your ID now.» That said, I don’t like doing business with jerks or people who blatantly neglect to tell their customers of specials & deals. For that, I will not be back to this establishment.

I loved the atmosphere from the moment we walked in the games were on, all games, every game, everywhere… huge televisions lined up against the wall… every game, every sport including hockey which impressed my date. It is a dive with a lounge and a sunken in game room with pool tables, air hockey tables, ping pong tables, and TV’S everywhere. We ordered drinks which were named some very colorful expletive names that for all intense and purposes I will refer to as a «mo-fo’s» yup«mo-fo’s». it was strong and definitely what we would refer to my hood as a «mo-fo», we ordered several drinks played an horrible game of pool, watched my dates teenage sons beat him at the basketball hoops, drank more«mo-fo’s» laughed out loud, watched the game and called it a night. We were tipsy as a «mo-fo». The waitress was adamant about leaving a credit card if we wanted to run a tab. SHEWASADAMANTANDPUSHY. I seriously get that may be your policy, and yes this is Brooklyn, but next time smile instead of stating matter of factly with an attitude. I’m new to the establishment and was not aware of the policy… relax, woo-sah, but you still get three stars. Customer service is everything.

This was a little awkward at first because I had to seat myself at a lounge LOL but afterwards it was a cool(its more of a chill dive bar with a huge game room) I had the sex on the pool table and then the blue hawaiin(lighter). The reviews are true the game area is huuge a little dated but fun. Games are very affordable I had a 2 player game of air hockey for $ 13.50/hr then arcade games mini bowling we had a blast and definitely come again Good drinks, food and its a laid back fun place for a relaxed date. date night or just with friends. Crowd is VERY diverse. No ratchery. the owner looks like he may toss u out himself lol This place is tucked right next to the train station.

Was there for a short time on a Friday night. It didn’t seem that pack. But the guys at the counter wasn’t much friendly or cared to service me or anyone else. Told me to wait about 10 minutes to get a table and while waiting by the counter I was get a rude attitude like why I was standing near the counter. When someone came back and was returning their pool equipment. And then he was ready for me. Honestly after getting that attitude I told him to hold on and I was gonna go inside. But I ended up leaving. Not worth trying to deal with their attitude at the counter. I can only imagine the attitude I was going to get inside by the other staff. Not my preference.

BIGASSSUBWAYRATCAMERUNNINGUPFROMTHEBASEMENTANDINTOTHECROWD! The place was bright and busy with patrons on a Saturday night a few weeks back when this bold, gray BADASS, came RUNNING… not sneaking and squeaking but RUNNING into the crowd. The entire episode was the stuff of Saturday morning cartoons. Chicks screeching, tripping in their Ugg’s trying to flee, jumping on tables and then returning to their previously scheduled frivolity as the rat scurried away. I ran to the bouncer re: the rat who gave me a look that said this wasn’t news to him and then he informed me matter-of-factly that, «The owner knows about the rat.» He knows about it and he just doesn’t GAF??? Now I know about«the rat» too and it’s why I won’t be going back to Ocean’s 8.

My partner & I were looking for a place to play some pool and were excited to check this place out. However, when we arrived te first thing we noticed was the sign containing the house rules, and I was disappointed to see specific rules forbidding du-rags and low-slung pants – basically singling out the black community with racism disguised as politeness. We won’t be supporting this place with our money.

Visited for the first time yesterday. A Meet up group had an outing here a week ago but I couldn’t attend so I invited a friend whose b-day had just passed to let us hang. We got there around 7. It was hard to find the place because the signage is poorly done and it’s tucked in. When we first arrived we scanned the pl. Not at all what I expected. The photos online painted a much cleaner picture. We ordered nachos, wings, mozzarella sticks, and fries. The fries never made its way to our table. We had a call something money. Wings were fairly decent. Kind of hard to screw that up. As were the mozarella sticks. The nachos were from a bag for sure. The guacamole, cheese and salsa were not fresh and appeared to have been store bought. I’ve had fresh chips and toppings. The guacamole had a real stale look. Kind of gross. The drinks are nothing fresh or frozen. The couches and chairs are beyond filthy ans the place ia just run down. It absolutely looks like management doesn’t give a crap. At the end our bill for food was like $ 52 with a 7 tip already addedd. Considering we didn’t have the beat experience I was like ok. Gave the waitress $ 60. She was supposed to return with my change since she had pointed out that the tip was already calculated but she never returned. Tacky. This pl is def for beer drinkers. I would not revisit. I personally need a better overall experience.
