Incorrect information about closing of this place. They are still in business. I go there once a month for deep tissue massage. I won’t complain about the service and price. It is decent. Comparing to other places, this spa is clean.

This place is amazing. They do an excellent facial, I’ve been here 3 times and each was great. It is clean and comfortable, they keep it the perfect temperature so you don’t get too cold halfway through. They always spend more time than the menu says(75 min ends up 90, 90 min lasted 2 hrs.) and the price can’t be beat! Highly recommend!

Don’t ever get your eyebrows done at this place… Terrible job. I went with my sister. The lady that was doing my eyebrows was definitely inexperienced. I usually do my eyebrows by myself, but I decided to go outside to get it done, because it takes a while for me to do my own eyebrows. She took only 5 – 10 minutes to get my eyebrows done. She was using a eyebrow shaver and a tweezer. When she was done… I looked at my eyebrows… one of my eyebrow was thicker than the other… a lot of my eyebrow hair were sticking out. There was still a lot of hair sticking out. My eyebrows were uneven. I also got a red mark from her tweezing. I told her that one eyebrow is darker than the other eyebrow… and what??? She tells me that she can’t get it fixed because my eyebrow hair is like that??? What? Are you kidding me? How come when I do my eyebrows myself… I can get both of my eyebrow to have balanced color? So I just let it go. Wow… it was 9 $… definitely not worth $ 9. She probably lied that it was $ 9 because she knew we were going to give low tips to her since she did such a terrible job at it. Seriously? My sister didn’t like hers either and it was done by the same lady. And the service in general was not good. They didn’t greet you or anything. They just straight up asked, «What do you want?» I’m asian so they asked me in mandarin and I don’t speak mandarin… but my sister knew a little. I was nice enough to give just $ 1 dollar tip… I was thinking of giving no tips… cause it was that horrible. I ended up having to fix my whole eyebrow myself… so much for saving my time… Never ever going back there again.

I’ve been here getting my eye lashes extension done, even though it was my first time getting it done, I could feel the girl was so inexperience, she took 2 hours for it and at the end I got just a little be more eye lashes, it looked like only few pieces more, it did look longer but not fuller, so I don’t think my eyes look any difference. For $ 95 I don’t think it worths the money. The exact same day at night, the eye lashes started falling off from my eyes, so it looked even less. So I called to schedule for a redo in another day and she said she would put me down on the book. But when I got there on the time I scheduled, she told me to come back 40mins later because she was doing other client. What’s the point of making an appointment then. I Know it was just a redo, but is it how you treat your client because you make no extra money from me? I mean if she did good job on my eye lashes at the first place, then I wouldn’t have to waste my time to come back again and wait another 40 mins. So I didn’t wait and went straight up to other beauty salon that my friend recommended in Elizabeth and Hester street. I would rather spending extra money to someone who do good job. I don’t recommend this place and def. will not come back again It is wasting my time and money

I really should have checked Unilocal before coming here. although, it hasn’t been reviewed a lot. I walked into the spa around 2 pm and asked«how much for a pedi & mani?» $ 22 they said. «okay» i say. $ 22 for a mani/pedi is a great deal, I thought. The rest of the services went okay, well for the most part. It took them 1.5 hours to do my pedi and another 1.5 to do my mani. No waiting in between – and no super long massage – it was only maybe at most 3 min per leg/arm. So why did it take so long? because the manicurist/pedicurist kept grabbing the nail after she worked on it and had to start all over. I was patient – maybe she was new. And she was friendly. Even she remarked on my patience by telling me I was the nicest customer she has had.(remember, I thought I was getting a deal – being a little patient wasn’t going to kill me). During the manicure I had to tell the manicurist to please paint all nail, which she very politely agreed to do. She had to do my middle finger 3 times because she kept grabbing it. Finally after 3 hours, I get up to pay. $ 36.56 they say. WHAT?! i was very angry – I had been patient until then, and they had said $ 22 at the beginning. What the hell?! they pull out their pamphlet and say that the pedicure BYITSELF was $ 22. Oh and the pamphlet says $ 22 for a «Spa Pedicure» I bring this up b/c guess what, there was no spa chair, it was a rocking chair and they had me put my feet in a plastic pan-thing – you know the ones they have at hospitals? So yes, $ 22 for the pedicure by itself has me upset. I WILLOBVIOUSLYNOTBEGOINGBACK. If you don’t mind paying an arm & a leg – and have 3 hours to kill, then go here. If not, you can find a better place, I’m sure. oh – they didn’t try to force anything on me – i thought i should mention it since that happened to someone else. but it’s still the same type of lying I would say.

The spa’s services are ok, but their business practices leave much to be desired. On our first visit, my wife and I got(expensive) facials and massages. Afterward, the woman at the desk started to FORCEFULLY sell us «memberships» to the spa. She was very aggressive in her sales tactics, which ruined our relaxing(and expensive) massages. She finally said that if we bought a single family membership, we can both get free use of the sauna and membership pricing on spa services. After being worn down with the relentless selling, I stupidly gave in. Since then, they have refused to honor that agreement. They don’t allow us to use the sauna, and there are now restrictions on our membership that were conveniently left out during her hard sell. Even if you don’t get suckered into purchasing an overpriced membership like we were, expect your relaxing treatments to be shattered by the aggressive shrill of them trying to sell you everything under the sun. If you don’t want moisterizer, they’ll start to sell you facial soap. If you don’t want facial soap, they’ll start selling you hair conditioner. If you don’t want conditioner, they’ll start selling you … well, you get the picture. In short, while the services are good, they’re expensive, and they’re ruined by aggressive salesmanship while you’re leaving the spa. I’m in the process of reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau. I do NOT recommend this place. There are much better places close by.
