NYU Lutheran Family Health Centers Park Slope

I’ve been a patient here for a year. Unfortunately my insurance is pretty basic so this is the place I chose for my gynecological services. Last, year I went and everything was normal, I didn’t have any issues.
This year I went for a yearly exam. The doctor didn’t realize I was there for that, she just thought I was there for birth control. I needed the annual exam to get a birth control refill. I told her I needed more birth control and she told me «I already called it in. «I’m like «I haven’t been here for a year.» She was like «Oh, I was looking at the wrong date.» OK
They called me about a week after my exam saying I needed a follow up. I asked if that was medically necessary and the girl on the phone knew nothing. She said she would leave a note in my file and someone would call me back.
I called the clinic for days. No one told me anything, gave me any helpful information, followed up. Every time I called all they did was put me on hold and transfer me. I still haven’t gotten any information out of anyone.
I do not recommend this clinic. They have not helped me with my health information at all. I will not be returning.
