Cocktails are the bomb. Food is the bomb. Roof is the bomb. Staff is hot. What more can one ask for?

I’d recommend just stopping here for a quick drink on the roof deck if you are in the area. I wouldn’t go out of my way. I came here for dinner with two friends and was bummed to find out that the rooftop is for drinks only. The space itself is nice and spacious but the menu is lackluster. I had the mushroom skewers and mashed potatoes. Even my order sounds terrible but it really was the only thing that jumped out at me. They did have a fish taco special that looked okay. overall. Mehhh

Great décor, very spacious, and friendly bartenders. The rooftop is a cool place to have a drink. However you can only drink on the rooftop. You have to eat downstairs. Downside is I tried their chicken schnitzel, it was very dry and bland. Hot sauce and a drizzle of lemon couldn’t even save it. I’d also like to mention that after we paid our bill our server told my friend and I that he would be needing our table soon. The restaurant was not packed at all and there were other available tables for other guests to be seated in. I felt like he was politely kicking us out. We left and I won’t be returning to that establishment.

Really enjoy the roof top(great view) and their specialty drinks. Wish they served food upstairs though.

The food was good but we won’t return to this place because for a few reasons. The bar tenders and waiters were awful. Firstly I ordered a martini up on the roof top that was served in a regular glass, this may sound picky but when you order a $ 12 martini, you expect it in a martini glass. The cocktails were average and the bar tender had a really shit attitude. Secondly the waiter down stairs got in my wife’s face when she asked a few questions about whether the fish or lamb burger was better. The when the bill came she had charged us for a jack Daniels we never ordered and over charged us for the wine and then she got in our face again for bringing this up! It ruined our night as it was our anniversary. She had the worst attitude. I’m really not very picky but man this was shit! The bouncer up stairs and the cook delivering the food were nice. The food was good which is why I’m giving 2 stars over 1.

The thought of traveling abroad only to find myself in an Aussie themed bar celebrating all things bogan that make me cringe about our culture back home is enough to give me hives… .yet after a few drinks I sometimes seem to find myself in exactly that sort of place, somewhat entertained by it all. I honestly don’t know what that says about me. Taking away the Aussie elements here(and they are not as in your face as others. looking at you Walkabouts in London) the Northern Territory is a pretty cool space. Didn’t get up to the rooftop due to the rain but hear good things. And yes, we got some of those giant Fosters beers that no one in Australia actually ever drinks. We’re all bogans deep down I guess…

Place is 3 floors but this review is strictly for the rooftop. View: Although the rooftop is not high, it is not too far from the water and therefore you get a beautiful view on the Manhattan skyline. Ambience: We went there for happy hour on a Friday and although it was pretty empty when we got there(around 5ish) most of the tables were taken by the time we left(7ish). Most people were in their late 20s to early 30s. You feel a nice breeze up there. Drinks: I had the Pisco(a peruvian drink) which was delish. I also had their alcoholic tea which was also yummy and strong. Signature drinks were a little pricey($ 12). Service: Waitress was friendly as well as the hostess downstairs. Overall chill spot

I stumbled upon this place while I was doing my weekly run from work to my home and I bookmarked because it looks nice from the outside. Went with a couple of friends and we all liked the food. Really nice rooftop and I’m a fan of any restaurant that has spicy margaritas!

The level of douche-bagerry by the staff at this bar overwhelmingly cancels out the outstanding rooftop view. If dirk the Norseman is packed and you have to stop by this place, then I recommend the lamb lollies. The rest of the food is nothing to write home about. Had a bad experience at the upstairs and downstairs bars. Would not come back

Kinda bummed the rooftop wasn’t open when I came for brunch on an overcast Saturday. Not sure if the weather kept people away but wasn’t very crowded around 1 pm. Really enjoyed the Ham and Cheese Toastie. Just a little difficult cutting through the toasted cantata trying to be proper eating with a fork and knife. The mixed greens were a refreshing side. Bloody mary bar was unique. Pick your vodka and you can customize your bloody as you please. Overall good brunch. Def will come back again.

Stopped for the views per the recommendation of a friend. Views are amazing at the rooftop bar. I didn’t eat tonight due to stopping earlier. Not a lot on tap but good beers still with a Founders and Six Point on tap. A very cool experience still the same. Stop by for something to do for sure.

This is a good bar with an amazing view of the East River. A great place to watch the sun set. But it doesn’t have a very wide beer selection, too many pilsners. They have Allagash White thankfully. They do seem to have a good cocktail selection though. The food(I had the burger) was good. But unfortunately you can’t get any food or take any food to the rooftop! I was sitting on the rooftop terrace starving, with a kitchen right below me and no way to eat. Needless to say that was frustrating. But if you’re just looking for a place to grab a beer and look at the river, this is a good spot

Ok so let get real prolly one of the best set ups for a bar but and this is a huge but… The roof top bar that u wait an hour to get into has no food/bloodies/mojitos/anything you want… Servers are meh. Screw this spot head down the block to diamond bar… They also are cheap and don’t take Amex #FTP owners must be cheap skates hope they get audited

Great rooftop views, terrible attitudes. Three stars only because of the consistency, both views and attitude, of the nearby Berry Park which they also own.

Great deck for roof top drinking but you probably already knew that. I can’t add much here because that is all I did. Actually, you can basically skip my review. I just drank a lot that day.

My Saturday day-drinking started off amazing at Northern Territory, we walked by this place after Smorgasburg, decided to give it a try(apparently we were pretty oblivious to how popular this place is or it’s supposed to be «Australian»). We got here around 3pm, there were 3 of us but we scored a table for 4 easily at the rooftop(because the 4th person would join us later). We got a bottle of Rosé and some beer, had a great view of Manhattan. Just when we started talking about moving to Greenpoint so we could come here more often and avoid the snooty/superficial/exclusivity-hunting crowd around us in Manhattan, all of a sudden this place took a dramatic turn. It went from a relatively mellow rooftop bar to a rowdy club-ish place with bros, hipsters, and Australians. I have nothing against Australians personally, but if you kept telling me my husband’s Foster beer was the grossest beer you’ve had, then I have a problem with you, keep your Australian opinion to your Australian-self. On top of that, don’t stand within 2 inches of my sister-in-law and talking loud and trying to dance to the music. ALSO, somehow there were two bouncers outside so nobody can come up or down anymore. The 4th person that was supposed to join us couldn’t come up, even though we had a table for four and was saving the seat for him the whole time. Mind you it was only 5pm when all of these happened. The vibe felt worse than any east village bar I’ve been to and the«exclusivity» feel they tried so hard to maintain was also worse than any speakeasy bar I’ve been to in Manhattan. Sorry Northern Territory, but other than the view of Manhattan and a cool rooftop, who do you think you are?! So I guess Greenpoint/Williamsburg isn’t for me after all. Oh well.

I have yet to go to the rooftop, but I have been here for an impromptu brunch on a blustery fall morning. It is definitely a hike from the nearest subway, so You either Lyft it, bike, or have a car otherwise wear some comfy shoes! I had a Bloody Mary, it was definitely heavy with Tabasco sauce! My throat was a little bit on fire, but luckily the bartender was quick with the water refill! We sat at the bar although there was ample room to sit at a table. It started to fill up a little bit more around 1pm. I ordered the prawns to start, it was good pretty standard. They were fresh but it was a simple Shrimp cocktail dish. For my main, I had the ham and cheese toastie. It was so good, it was the bartender’s recommendation. I really want to come back when it is warm Enough to sit on the rooftop. The photos look great, and they had a great drink selection. I will be back soon!

I first discovered Northern Territory in the dead of winter during the late afternoon, so I didn’t experience either the rooftop that people have raved about or the annoying slow service that they’ve complained about. What we got was a very low key and spacious bar with plenty of tables for large groups. We tried all sorts of cocktails and wine but the one that really stood out for all of us was the Territory’s Tea. It sounds girly, with nectarine vodka and kiwi included in the ingredient list, but I guarantee you’ll find it tasty and won’t be able to stop ordering them. Cheap they are not(specialty cocktails are $ 12), but these days that’s par for the course in trendier spots in Brooklyn, sadly. After glancing at their menu I’m excited to return for the food… and for the winter to end so I can enjoy their gorgeous rooftop!

Quaint/hipster chic bar in the Burg with a gorgeous rooftop(I’m a sucker for rooftops); exactly where you wanna be on those perfect summer/early fall nights. Downstairs vibe is mellow. I spent most of my night on the rooftop. Beautiful view of the skyline, dim lighting, and chill ambiance. Wooden outdoor patio tables and chairs. Communal tables and bar seating or reserve a table right on the perimeter. They serve drinks(duh) and picnic style food? I ordered the lobster/corn and was really sad when I learned they ran out for the night. We settled for the steak sandwich and it was pretty fucking good.
