Nike Brooklyn

This place is a hidden gem. I almost don’t want to write about it so people don’t discover it. Everytime I walk into this store I never come out empty handed. Some sales are too good to pass up. This store is unlike any outlet for the fact that they have good choices. In addition to things being on sale they also have new nike products that recently came out. Those aren’t on sale but it’s great to have them as an option. I feel like the people who complained on here about price maybe aren’t familiar with the Nike collections and see those items first. On most racks it will say additional percentages off, and usually when the item rings up an additional discount will be taken at the register. I LOVE that. It’s like Christmas everytime. I suggest that people take their time in this store and always bring items up to have them scanned at checkout because you never know if it will be discounted even more. Can’t wait to go back.

One star just for the shoe selection and employee attentiveness. Otherwise, this location sucks. I mainly come here since it is conveniently located down the block from my school but if that wasn’t case I’d never come back. They have a limited selection of clothing for women at a decent price with select sales depending on the season so sometimes I come out pretty lucky with some new gym gear. However, from what I’ve seen, some merchandise has been on the floor for months so I don’t know how often they receive new inventory. The employees on the floor are very attentive and not overbearing which is a plus. Every time I visit this location I never run into an issue… until today. After browsing around, I went to the fitting room to try on a few things and was told by the employee that I had to leave my purse outside the fitting room. What?! First of all, since when has this ever been a policy at this location, let alone any retail store in general? I’ve never heard of such a thing. I can understand maybe leaving a shopping bag from another store outside but who in their right mind would leave their purse outside while they go into a fitting room and try on merchandise? After protesting about this policy that I’ve never heard of, despite countless visits to this location the employee paged his manager who gave him the Ok to let me in with my purse. I was in a rush to get outta there but next time I’m in the area I’ll be sure to stop by and speak with the manager about this ridiculous policy!

I really wanted some new Nike stuff as I’m such a fan and my shoes broke recently so we went there with my hubs. I’ve read good reviews from this outlet factory on google so I was hoping for something really good but it was a delusion. It is far, the prices aren’t exceptionally good and there is poor variety of shoes and sport bras/​pants so I won’t go back. Actually in Hungary I could buy way cheaper and there is better variety.
