Nicole is AMAZING! I came in extremely late on a Sunday afternoon and asked for the impossible; gray/​black ombré hair. Not only did she stay past closing time to do my hair (5PM) but she also did the impossible and turned my hair gray after I had dyed it green. I’m truly in love with my hair. My layers came out awesome and the colors are exactly what I wanted. Can’t wait to book future appointments with her. Thank you so much Nicole!

My grandma and I came in for a wash and cut and we loved it! I’ve been known for my super long thick hair and I had a hard time deciding where I was going to it my hair but Nicole was highly recommended by a few friends and I decided to go for it. I absolutely loved my new look. I showed her what I wanted and she went for it. I was back again to get it curled for my baby shower and once again I wasn’t disappointed. Plus you can’t beat the price in Park Slope! I will definitely be coming back to Nicole’s!

Went into Nicol’s because my mom’s friend recommended it. We both went in for a trim. My mom’s hair was taken care of by a guy who looked very serious at first but ended up making small talk with her. He took very good care of her. Making sure she was ok with the length. I, on the other hand did not enjoy my hair cut. I asked for a trim and got like 3 inches of hair cut off. My hair was up to my hips, now it’s up to the middle of my back. Not only did Nicol chop off my hair she pulled on it while trying to comb it. Not gentle at all! It’s the end of the day and my scalp still hurts. I did not enjoy my supposedly called trim. I personally will not be coming back here again.

I will definitely come back. My hair was cut the length I asked for! I have long hair. It takes a long time for me to get my hair cut because any place I’ve gone to they cut my hair WAY too short– ignoring what I requested! I asked for just my split ends cut at Nicols and that’s exactly what she did! Thank you for listening and not messing up my hair!

I LOVE Nicol! First and foremost, I know this may sound dramatic, but Nicol saved my life on Friday. My hair life. I needed my orange hair fixed and fast. I was taking down my ombré roots (about 5 inches) and the very dark became orange. Hideous! I looked for a place and I stumbled upon a cute but simple looking salon in Park Slope. Spoke with Nicole (the owner) and as anyone would be as a first time customer, was worried but felt confident she was in the know. She did EVERYTHING right and took her time to make sure my hair came out completely even (it was SO uneven) and I walked out 1000% happy!!!
I could not be any happier with the results. I have found my new place. I am actually taking my sister there and letting Nicole work her magic before her wedding. that is how much I trust her. I love this place. Not to mention I watched people come in and out and they all love her to pieces. She is clearly a great business woman who has built a stable neighborhood business. She just gained me. I will tell anyone who will listen how great she was. Excellent, excellent, excellent!!! Thank you Nicol!

I haven’t gotten a haircut for a year because I find it oddly stressful. I just went to Nicol’s because it’s really close to my apartment and didn’t seem expensive (my two main requirements). I asked for a trim, with kind of long layers, and the hairdresser did exactly what I asked. She was quick and tidy and blow-​dried my hair for no extra charge, and the whole thing came to $ 20 (plus tip). I am a simple lady with simple hair needs, and I got exactly what I wanted. I’ll definitely come back next time I need a hair cut.
