I think this place has a LOT of potential but needs some help in getting better! I will list pluses and minuses +: The Chana Masala is delicious! –The restaurant says«Only vegetarian Indian restaurant that sells seafood» — HUH? this makes no sense. Not to mention they now carry beef, chicken, and lamb. Is this a language barrier or just confusion? Besides they’re vague stance on vegetarian food, they used to have an option for«Organic food» but that quickly left too! It seems they have no solid business platform and just want to test out ‘food trends’(vegetarianism/organic). -: The owner of the restaurant is very unfriendly but he seems like a good person. -: There is absolutely no ambiance in this restaurant! There is no décor and there are Christmas decorations hung up all year long(in an un-ironic way) — I wish it looked like this — –This restaurant has been closed by the board of health and it scares me to think why… I think if this restaurant added décor,(lamps/perhaps Indian paintings?), hired friendlier waitstaff, this restaurant would be perfect, especially as they have a beautiful garden! I am remaining hopeful it will get better as Williamsburg/Greenpoint could really use a great Indian restaurant with vegetarian/vegan options! Bombay Garden, er «New Green Leaf Inc», I believe in you!

Food isn’t that great — much better Indian/South Indian restaurants in the area. Delivery takes forever — well over an hour and a half, although they say within 45 minutes. Restaurant didn’t seem very clean. Not very nice people in general. Try to avoid.
