New Food King

Worst chinnese spot in Canarsie. Everything you order even the dag on chicken wings is flavorless. I just moved to area and I was hoping that the food would be great since it’s close to home but no the food is horrible. I had the pork fried rice and the rice was so hard, ugh! Never again! I wish I didn’t even have to give a star is how bad the food is

OK, I’m a foolish individual. I wrote a lousy review about New Food King and I did not take my own advice. I order from them because they are on GrubHub and it was easy. Well they gave me a case of food poisoning the other day. I went to lunch with some friends the day before and ate like a pig. I was still in the mood for some piggish behavior and ordered from New Food King. I ordered Pork Chow Fun, Chicken Fried Rice and a couple of other things. I devoured the Chow Fun. It tasted great. Before the day was complete I was as sick as a dog. I was vomiting and had diarrhea. I also had a lot of pain. I WILL NEVER go back to these people again. Their no mustard, no plates and tasteless soup should have been my clue but I got lazy. I certainly paid for my laziness.

This place gave me some great memories when I was in elementary school, Holy Family School. If you know this spot in the 80s or early 90s, you should remember when the 3 chicken wings with fried rice was 1.50. So 30 years later and the place have not changed. The food is not bad at all. So I must give them 4 stars.

Located on the end of the *cough* Loser Line *cough* the food ain’t bad. Used to order here all the time when I lived in Canarsie. Whenever I’m at grammy’s house over in the hood, I still order from here, which to my surprise they delivered all the way over there! They’ve gotten some slack over some pest probs in the past but honestly I’ve never had an issue with them.
One of the dudes there (Ken I think is his name) and I had a crush on each other long ago, but alas, it never came to be. But whenever we see each other, we give other a smirk and a smile.
