Rude, rude, rude! I was ignored, they actually walked around me to help other customers. When I finally got someone to help me with the size needle I wanted I was asked«Do you actually know what to do with that?» Do not go if you are not Orthodox. I will spend my money where people are not rude and disrespectful. Too bad, they are walking distance from work and I buy a lot of yarn.

I’ve been doing cross-stitch since I was a kid. In our culture, many women gather around in a «knitting/crotcheing/whatever you want to call it» circle to work on their projects and socialize. I really missed that and wanted to find something similar to connect in Brooklyn – this is it. I went in one day to check it out and was back the next for hours, talking and working on my project. The owner was so friendly and helpful. The girl that was working in the shop helped me with beeding and picking out colors. The owner offered me classes for 30 dollars one-on-one to help me with my next project, which is a steal of a price for her expertise. I also got ALOT of stuff high quality that amounted to only 23 dollars! I am so happy that I found this place I can’t wait to go back. P. S. Summer and winter hours are different, so make sure you call ahead before you go.

I’m not real hard core knitter, but my mom is and i constantly visit this store with her. My mom has made collections of winter gloves, hats, and scarves for me and my son all from the fine quality yarns in this store. They carry Italian, 100% merino wool, cashmere, and hand dyed silk. Expensive but totally top quality, and will last forever. She also carries a huge assortment of lower end, bulk acrylics, polyesters, and other synthetic or combination yarns. They carry a large selection of needlepoint materials, which I took up as a hobby over 20 years ago when my mom first taught me. They have tons of different materials and textures, as well as many patterns to choose. Definitely one of the best selections I’ve seen for a small store like this. The owner is nice, shes very talkative and not afraid to give her opinion or point you in a different direction. She sure is knowledgeable on her product and don’t push you to buy anything.

Great selection of needlepoint and petit point canvases. This store has everything that you need, including a place to sit and work(in the air-conditioning in the summer). As a beginner it was great for me to come into the store and stitch, that way when I was struggling with a particular stitch I was able to ask for help. Each staff member is caring and supportive. I’ve purchased a few different projects from them and have never had trouble finding something unique and fun. There prices are comparable to other needlepoint shops, but their selection is TOP!
