Just a quick rating here for the Post Office Box service. Fantastic to have a neighborhood alternative to dealing with the Greenpoint P.O.(which seems to suffer from consistently bad management, though every so often I can tell they are trying to improve.) Can’t speak for the other services, but at P.O. Box is $ 10 /month and simple to open and renew(every 3 months if you like) at the pharmacy counter. Glad they are here.

This little post office is a true gem. The lady who works here is always very pleasant, unlike the clerks in the messerole post office. Always helps. m me pick best shipment option and has lots of patience when explaining different prices and services.

Four stars for the post office services. Sometimes the line is long and they are closed from 2:30 — 4:30pm, but the woman at the counter is so efficient… I LOVE her. Thank you for allowing me to never visit the actual Greenpoint post office(AKAHELL) again!!!

I went in the other day with a few international parcels and the two girls helped me so nicely fill the details in the papers. there was no line. the girl even trusted me with coming back later for part of the payment i was missing in cash(it’s cash only), and I think she had never seen me before as I am not a regular.

I’ve never actually bought anything here per se, but I have used the post office. I may be biased since the Greenpoint Post Office is a hopeless mess, but I have to give this place credit for providing the same services minus the excruciatingly long wait times and postal worker attitude. I mean, they’re not the friendliest people on the planet and I’m sure they hate all non-Polish people, but they’re always polite to me. And anyway, who can blame them when all these yuppie idiots are moving into these atrocious luxury housing developments in the area and causing their overhead to skyrocket? I’m sure it’s no fun waking up every day wondering when your employer is going to go belly-up and the building your job lives in is getting demolished and turned into an Anthropologie. They also have a «personal health section» that sells, er, adult toys. Hey can’t go wrong there!

No refunds or exchanges. That’s firm. If you do shop here, make sure you don’t accidentally pick up the wrong thing, say, cod liver oil, only to then realize what you needed was fish oil. Because if you realize that and think you can just bring it back the next day and exchange them, even when you haven’t broken the seal, and have a receipt in hand, they’ll kindly point out that the receipt states«No returns or exchanges» and there’s nothing they can do for you. Then you’ll be stuck. Sorry, that’s just their policy and they can’t help you.

I love the post office services here. Much shorter lines than the Greenpoint post office. I don’t usually shop for anything else, I find the selection a bit random(causing me to give 3 stars, usually I love a pharmacy and could easily buy 10+ items). But, love the post office services and inexpensive mailing supplies.

Pharmacist and staff are very rude to non-Polish customers. Just tried them out after moving to the area and already switching to pharmacy near work. Will be avoiding even for cold medicine, etc.

Horrible pharmacy. They gave me strong antibiotics without any instructions. Pharmacy’s usually tell the patient once they give him medications to finish bottle /dont stop until you finish it completely otherwise virus will mutate and come back with a vengeance(advice they should always give to patients telling them not to stop the treatment too early) or specify on how to use the meds correctly. This phamarcy does NONE of the above. nothing at all. nothing! Especially since alot of people that come in are polish these pharmacy techs/pharmacys print out these little directions that some people that have bad vision cant even read –and– they dont even tell their polish costumers on how to use the meds properly or inform them of any directions or labels on bottle. These girls that work over the counter in the pharmacy are just like here are your meds! sign here — get out… Who the hell knows what your even signing up for in their little notebook scapbook. Horrible horrible horrible costumer service. and everything is overpriced. For a polish pharmacy I expect more. especially when im going to have to pay more then in rideaid. shame on you!

Very rude male pharmacist. Don’t try to get information over the phone from these people. Ok service in store.

(For post office only). While not as terrible as the one down the street, this post office is not great. My two main complaints are that they are randomly closed from 2:30−4(I believe these are the hours, they’re not posted online so it’s hard to tell) and unless you’re speaking Polish to the people behind the counters they are not particularly friendly or accommodating.

This is a hidden gem of Greenpoint. On its face, it’s just a Polish pharmacy, stocking a mix of Polish and American products, greeting cards, and other items. But it’s actually a community center of sorts and mail center that’s better than the local post office. You can rent a post office box here, you can use Western Union, and you can ship packages — even during hours that the post office isn’t open. It’s very nice to be able to ship packages on Sunday night — or late on a Saturday — or without walking all the way to the post office. Inside the front door there are also fliers sharing news and information with the Polish community. A real centerpiece of the neighborhood.
