Mila’s Spa NYC

I’ve been Mila’s spa’s client for over 2 years and never had any disappointments. Its a small business located in medical office in the center of sheepshead bay right next to train station (Q, B train). Mila is professional business owner and well skilled esthetician. I found this place through groupon (please note you can only use groupon deal one time and buy it as gift for someone else, its groupon policy btw) and then became regular client. She always has deals and promotions going on. I go for facials every month. My favorite ones are microdermabrasion, chemical peeling, oxygen and pore cleansing. Once she takes a look at your face she will suggest you type of facial you need anyway. You can also buy professional organic products from her. I highly recommend Mila’s spa. She helps me to look young and beautiful!

If you’re checking out reviews before you buy the Groupon, then good job, you’ve come to the right place! Don’t buy the Groupon, and watch out. She’s not really into this business to have happy stress free customers. This is strictly business. Meaning yes, you need to pay the tax and tip. Yes you need to follow all the Groupon policies, and no she will not tell them to you. Until what you’re trying to do goes against it. No one enjoys a place tricking their customers to get more money from them. People come to relieve their stress, and from looking at other reviews and of course my experience, you can tell this is the wrong place to go.

I was looking forward to this day so much. Women who care for children at home ²⁴⁄₇ would understand what this little time for ourselves can do. But to my huge disappointment when I arrived the lady in charge wouldnt take me because i was preciously there and my groupon gift from my husband cannot be redeemed. I was sooo frustrated. Shouldnt there be more clear instructions then? Like cannot redeem for the same person even if it is a gift?! He didnt even know i was here before. I am literary crying now. Just because of this negative emotional experience I will never ever come here again!!! And my previous review — consider it void! Do not recommend! Like helllloooo i already have a prepaid voucher, my appointment is set for Saturday afternoon for 1.5 hours… you could have made very good tips! So stupid.

It was a great experience, Mila is a very kind lady and she knows exactly what she’s doing. If you have any concerns about your skin, leave it to her and she’ll take care of it.

I asked Mark who was giving me a massage to apply a little more pressure, I asked 6 times, but he continued to just basically apply oil to my skin. He also kept talking all the time, telling me great he is, which made it impossible to relax.
I also did facial and Mila tried to up-​sell more expensive treatments. The towel covering my face smelled bad, The rooms are not clean, everything is old.

I went to Mila’s SPA one week ago for oxygen facial and wax. Its a small business in a medical office located in a very good location in Brooklyn right next to sheepshead bay train station. I was very happy with the results of treatment. My skin looks fresh and feels so soft. Mila is a very nice, well skilled, professional esthetician. She has more treatments to offer and the prices are affordable. I highly recommend it!

I was going to buy a Groupon, but I called before to ask if they have available time. The person on the phone was very rude, specially when she got to know that I was going to buy a Groupon. And she just hang up after all. I changed my mind and happy I didn’t waste my money.

I’ve been coming to see Mila for over a year now. Right away, everyone have noticed that my skin becomes better, healthier, younger after each visit. Mila truly has magic hands! She will only recommend what’s good for you. Although Mila is very up to date with the new trends in beauty care, she combines decade of experience as a beauty therapist. My favorites: extraction, microdermabrasion, oxygen treatment. I’m looking forward to trying out new lazer treatments this winter. There is never any rush and you feel totally spoiled. The prices are pretty affordable too. Especially for what you get.

This was my first time at Mila’s spa and I absolutely loved it! I bought a Groupon for a 90 Minute Signature Treatment not knowing what to expect. Coral did a wonderful deep tissue massage, body scrub and wrap. I felt so relaxed and drifted off a few times during her massage. She really loosened up some of the knots in my upper back and neck. Mila did my facial and I added on extractions. Mila was very gentle and the extractions weren’t painful like it’s been for me in the past. I would definitely recommend Mila’s spa to anyone who asks. I’ll be returning for another massage and facial. I feel like a new woman! #lovedit

I got a Groupon from my mother as a new years gift so that I wouldn’t be so stressed. I left this spa very stressed! After the procedure, which was not the best comparing to many I have tried before, I was asked to pay tip and tax. I told them that this was a gift and I didn’t know I had to pay extra. The Groupon was for $ 75 and the lady said I should pay tip on the original amount the procedure would cost, which is $ 185. She tried to convince me them to pay $ 38 tip + 10 $ tax. I told her I’m only paying on the 75 $ and told her what tip I wanted to give and she told me I should pay 15−20% actually. Basically she makes you feel bad for not paying a good sum, which you’re not obligated to anyway. Also during the massage, the lady’s phone went off for a good 2 min. Totally killing the atmosphere. I was very upset leaving the place. But yes my skin feels soft… thanks. Also I have done a couple of spa treatments through Groupon before and not once have I been asked to pay extra. Thank you for ruining my day.

I had a very relaxing massage done by Anastasia. Mila is just so nice I’ll be going back for another one!

Mila’s was kind a professional. Had the microdermabrasion on anti aging treatment done. Will mostly go back for other treatments in the future.

I had a deep poor cleansing facial today by Mila. She was amazing. Gentle professional and very helpful. I also had a massage by Anastasia. It was my first massage ever, and I was nervous, but it was a wonderful experience. I truly enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful oxygen facial with microdermabrasion done by Lyudmila. She was extremely gentle and professional. My face feels wonderful! She is very friendly and it was a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend her spa! Can’t wait to be back again.
