This place doesn’t even deserve a star. I brought my coats and a shaggy rug to get it cleaned… the price seemed right so I left all my stuff here. When I get my rug back, it looks exactly the way it did before. With lint and hair on it. I’m pulling stuff out in front of the Asian man who works here and he is standing there telling me, it’s still clean. I get furious and ask how in the world can he tell me it’s clean if I’m pulling stuff out in FRONT of him. Then he has the BALLS to say«I don’t like you». I am beyond myself. Do not waste your time or money in this place l.

This place deserves a 3.5 stars. The staff is attentive and extremely polite and I doubt I would go anywhere else for dry cleaning since they are close to me. The only thing I see that is I would not have the place alter my clothes beyond basic hemming of the pants. This one time I took a pair of suit pants to get altered and I had each leg at slightly different length and I pinned it exactly the way it should be and gave the lady the proper instructions twice. I got a call next day asking me which is the leg that needs to be longer? I was like WHAT? You have gotta be kidding me, I know that they have lost the initial measurements on both sides if they are asking this question. Anyhow I told myself not to panic because pants cuff hems are so easy even I can do it if I had a sewing machine. It shouldn’t be a big deal. When I picked it and raced back home to put it on, it was fine. So, the lesson here is: Dry clean yes, extremely simple hem yes, beyond that alteration: NO. [ I just read Andy L.‘s post and I felt bad. If you ever need to get your suit adjusted/tailored/altered don’t ever go to a seamstress without reputation!!! Trust me on this one. I’m daughter of a fashion design major mom and my bf gets his stuff altered all the time here in NYC. ]
