Terrible experience. First they claimed to not receive my prescription — even though I emailed it and faxed it. Ended up having to bring it to them. It was a compound so I knew it would take a couple of days to make, and assumed it would cost something out of pocket. I was told it was covered and that they would call me when it’s ready. I ended up calling after 4 days only to find out they haven’t even started it. Ended up going there again because somehow they didn’t have my insurance recorded anywhere. Was told, again, that there would be no co-pay or co-insurance. Then I get a call a day later saying they were wrong and that there will be a cost. I agreed, because I really do need my medication, and at this point it’s already been a week. Finally they called this morning that it was ready. When I came to pick it up is still took 20 minutes for them to find it. When I asked who I could complain to about the fact that I was told it would be covered and now they’re charging me I was told he happens to be in a meeting at the moment. Terrible service!

I would put no stars if I could. Went in Tuesday to drop off my prescriptions. I am told to call back Thursday for an update. It’s Friday now, I called back to get an update and they have no idea what i am talking about. Person on phone asked me what my prescription is and if I can get another one from my doctor. This place is a major fail… thank god it’s nothing life threatening. STAYAWAY!

This is the kind of place where the manager think is more superior than others, where they think they could get away with anything and make an employee waste days of their life working hard and never get paid or any news back.

ALERTSCAM. DON’T GOTOTHISPHARMACY. I tried at the first and MAKETHISTHELASTTIME. If I can choose ZEROSTAR I would. I worked for the drug company itself and I indeed was in need of my birth control pills. The pharmacist took my card and after while she came out and told me that the company wasn’t willing to pay the full price, therefore on top of my $ 5 copay now I have to pay extra for the amount that my drug company doesn’t pay for. I found it add because just last month I picked up the drug from a different location with no problem. She asked me if I want to pay it out of my pocket or she can contact my GYN to switch to something that the drug company will pay for the whole thing. I said please check again, I explained to her that I worked for the company and there is no way these drug’s price has increased. Ocella is an generic of Yaz and she refuse to go back and check, so I told her to call the drug company she said no. I decided to take my card and my prescription back to find out what happened. Next day I went to my company to find out my drug’s price DIDNOTINCREASED, and all I have to pay for again is my $ 5 copay. The pharmacist was trying to JACK me for EXTRAMONEY. If I was a dying patient I would have fell for that SCAM.

Not sure how this place could be considered pricey because a bag of Smart Food costs $.50 and you can’t get a bag out of a vending machine for that price. Once I saw a dude stealing a garbage bag full of Tide from them and the super nice attendant who is always smiling came out and ran after the thief in the middle of the street. Thief dropped the bag and when he turned around to grab it he proceeded to run full force into the pillar that holds up the train tracks and knocked himself out. When he dropped the bag a few of the bottles broke, and the super nice guy who works there poured a bottle of detergent on the guy. He said it was so the police would be able to identify the thief, who he let run away, but I really know in my heart that it’s because he’s a badass.

Mega Aid is a conveniently located drugstore with all of your drugstore needs. It is a little pricey, but sometimes you’re too sick to walk all the way to Food Dimensions(or too sick to want to smell Food Dimensions) for your over the counter medicine needs. I’ve never used the pharmacy, but only because it has never appeared to be open when I’ve walked past or been inside of the store. It could also use a cold drinks section, or at least one measly fridge of Coca Cola products. One cool thing, though, is their buy-one-get-one-free vitamin sale that has been going on since I moved to the area.
