We retained Mary Olive Design to help us select the color scheme, carpet, fabrics and tile for our new home in Queens and are pleased with the results. The most helpful service was shopping with the firm’s principal, Mary Van Vliet, She is knowledgeable and efficient, selecting stores that had the highest probability of carrying the merchandise we needed at a reasonable price. She pre-​shopped for us in several instances, making the joint shopping trip enjoyable and efficient — no wasting time looking at everything, just focusing on what might work for us. While the shopping service costs money, you save both money and time in the end and, more important, end up with the look you really want.
