The salon is clean and modern. The owner is uninviting, unfriendly and arrogant. I don’t recommend this place.

Horrible salon with a dishonest, cold hearted witch for an owner. Stay away! Would give it 0 stars if I could.

Laser girl is a sweetheart and thats the only thing they have going for them. Other than that, the owner is a terrible business owner. I heard many bad reviews but I had a gift certificate to use so decided to try it out. They gave me such a hard time using it and made me feel like they were doing me a favor. Stay away from these very rude people. They need to start appreciating good business.

Shocked, absolutely shocked by these strange reviews. I’ve been cutting my hair with Kosmos for years and followed him from one salon to another. I was only too pleased when I walked into Maka Salon, where he works now. The girls always smile, super courteous, offer coffee/​tea/​water or whatever I need to make me feel comfortable. I also bought the Vela Shape sessions, which means I’ve been coming to the salon every week. So far, nothing but sweetness. The owner too, super nice.

This salon just opened recently and the owner herself MAKA is a grade A scam artist. I came to her salon to get laser treatments and she asked me to pay her in full for 5 sessions… like an idiot I did! She took $ 500 from me. Then she called me asking me to come in a couple of months because they were doing renovations. I did just that. When I returned she told me that I need to pay again because now that she made renovations her salon is considered a completely different salon and therefore I need to pay $ 500 again to get my sessions. When I realized how much of a disgusting person she is I told her that if she is not doing the laser sessions which I paid for then I just want my money back. She then took me into there colonic room which has no cameras to record anything that was happening and called in 3 of her workers and told me that and I quote «you are not getting your sessions or money back bitch! And if u have a problem go get yourself a fucking lawyer» the girls surrounded me and told me if I didn’t leave the salon they would beat me!!! WTF??? This place should have no business and be shut down immediately!
Never in my years of life have I ever been treated this way especially by the owner herself! MAKA salon is run by animals and I hope no one here will get attacked the way I did.
