Going to miss Laundry Casa so much when I move. The machines always work, the smallest washer is only $ 2.00, coin-operated.

It’s a decent laundry place. The washing machines are $ 2 and the dryers are $ 0.25 per cycle. Best of all, they use coins and not those ridiculous laundry cards! There’s a coin exchange machine right next to the washers, so you can do it yourself with no fee, and feed any of $ 1, $ 5, $ 10, and $ 20 bills. Very flexible and pro-consumer. I appreciate that. The employees and customers are almost uniformly Hispanic, but their signs are mostly in English, so no worries there. The staff didn’t say anything. This laundromat gets the job done but it’s not a friendly place.

One lady who works here(with long braid) is super nice and helpful. I even met an owner once who was very sweet. Today I tried dealing with the woman with glasses who speaks almost no basic English and was a complete standoffish sour puss. She was VERY rude and short with me, because I was trying to redeem Belly points Ive earned by frequenting that location. She did not understand how Belly works and kept walking away from me. Eventually she made a phone call and asked a friendly fellow patron to speak to who ever was on the phone as I do not speak Spanish. Finally They let me redeem it. I would have not thought about this more but I get home and a bunch of stuff in my bag isnt mine. Someone elses towels and shorts were in there. I am missing a full size sheet set, cardigans and underwear. Dont do drop off service here. If you need to drop off go to the place literally right across the street. Update– i just went back to return stuff that wasnt mine and try to find my missing items. Someone translated for me– the woman who worked there shrugged her shoulders and said i dunno, not me. She didnt even want the other persons items back! She didnt want to hear what I was missing and made zero attempt to help me. Now Im out of belongings, WHATTERRIBLEATTITUDEANDSERVICE!

I just moved to Bushwick a couple weeks ago and, after going through all my clean clothes, decided it was time to find a laundromat. Filled a trash bag full of clothes and headed over to Laundry Casa in the snow. Long story short — I ended up dropping my clothes off(a first for me!) instead of sitting there for a couple hours doing laundry myself. The lady taking care of me was super friendly and helpful and threw my clothes in immediately so they could be done quickly. Originally, she had said it would be done late that night or by the next day, but I honestly told her that I had all my clothes in that bag. 2.5 hours later, my clothes were ready and neatly folded in my trash bag. I think my bag was 11 or 12 lbs, and it only cost $ 10.10. I’m not sure how much it usually costs, but that seems really reasonable to me. It was quick and easy. I’ll definitely come back here, and it’s totally worth it to just drop your clothes off and let them take care of everything! You don’t even have to fold, which is literally the WORST part about doing laundry.

Sweetest women ever. Always get my clothes right, no matter what kind of weird combination I give them.

I am new to Bushwick and to going to a laundromat, but I can’t imagine one being any better than Laundry Casa. It’s certainly nicer and has a happier vibe than the other two laundromat’s I’ve visited in Brooklyn since I move here in January. The cost for a small load machine was $ 1.75 when I went, but I got a huge mound of dirty things cleaned using two machines.

Love the ladies at the Laundry Casa! One of them thinks my name is Angel and loves talking to me about the bible even though I told her my name is Andrew and I’m Jewish. While some people think you should avoid discussing religion with strangers it’s all fair game at the Casa. We ended our conversation by agreeing that regardless of your denomination you should raise your kids to respect others for their differences. Some heavy laundry conversation but it’s nice to feel somewhat embraced by my neighbors. Love walking out of a place with clean laundry and some religious tolerance. They do a killer job folding button up shirts, and they’re always watching Laura on the TV. Woo!
