Visited this theater to see 12 Angry Men. Very nice theater! My first visit and I was totally impressed that it was right off the subway and across the street from Junior’s Cheesecake! The theater itself was very cozy and all of the seating was excellent. Not a bad seat in the place! Had a wonderful time and the play was informative and the acting was awesome! I’ll definitely be looking forward for another visit to Kumble Theater!

This is a fabulous venue that offers an eclectic range of performing arts programming. House at Long Island University the theater is a gem in Bedstuy Brooklyn.
This is my second time performing in this venue. Now the space itself could use some renovations as it appears antiquated and could use a make-​over.
Nonetheless, you will be excited to see what the theatre has to offer regards to the talent that comes here.

The staff is very professional and on-​site to check in guests and direct them to their seats. I recently attended a high school dance concert and staff were very alert to prevent video recording of the performances. I’ve been to this venue quite a few times. It’s a great, intimate space for small groups and organizations.

This is a great venue to see live performances. I have seen several shows here and I would highly recommend this location and venue. i would also add that if you are and independent artist looking for a space to dance, act, sing etc… I would not only recommend approaching Kumble Theater management for it use.

Came here to photograph the annual Stars of NY Dance contest. The space is perfect for performances, and is very modern and clean.
I actually found parking outside, and had no problem with security coming onto the campus or theater.
The staff and management of the theater were very helpful, accommodating and friendly.
Sound quality was excellent as well as lighting.
