I’ve been a regular here since Koda opened and it’s still one of my favorite spots to hang out any day of the week. I’ve brought each and every one of my friends here, even my mom every time she comes to visit and we always have a blast. The staff is attentive even when they are slammed, and the prices are amazing. I recommend the Pasta with Shrimp and their truffle fries! Try it, you wont be sorry.

I really wish the waitress was just a little more patient with me. I have several social disadvantages and I try my best to read aloud my order correct and simply. Sometimes the words just get jumbled up you know? And I am still a kid kind of, I am 22 out here trying my best. I would believe that with my fairly large group of buddies I would be safe to give a good night out to dinner a shot. Boy was I wrong. She really embarrassed me and almost seemed pleased when she saw how I crumbled under her quick sharp condescending tone. She also charged me an extra 2 $ dollars for a veggie burger which should not have been that much, as you could imagine I was petrified and in no shape to confront her about the bill.
EDIT: WAS NOT TAX WAS HAND WRITTEN $ 12 INSTEAD OF $ 8.

I have been there three or four times. I truly do not understand how the reviews on here are so good. I want nothing but to like this place! Since it has been open I always walk by and nobody is in there, but people are waiting next door at the living room for up to an hour. I know new businesses take some time to work all The kinks out so I have given koda a few chances over the past few months. The food is just not good. The staff is unattentive and unapologetic for their mistakes– which are consistent. Last night was truly a bummer– there were probably three tables total and we couldn’t even get share plates for our apps because they «didn’t have more plates». It is also freezing in this place! We all ate in our coats and hats on. I was rooting for this place but it is truly a dissapointment. Avoid it.

Came here on a Tuesday night just a little before 10pm. So happy to stumble upon this place. I had the pork chop and spicy wings. Spicy cucumber margarita was on point. Can’t wait to come back to try brunch and the rest of the dinner menu. Service was great. They never missed a beat.

I think I’ve visited here 4 times in the last 2 weeks. They seems to always have a happy hour, every damn time I’m there. Very friendly staff. Delicious menu. Lots of veg options. I love you, Koda!

Cheap beers, but awesome customer service. Jeff is the bomb*. But seriously you would think they would have shitty service with $ 1 beers on Wednesdays (2/​$ 5 when it’s not Wednesday) but every staff member is polite and thoughtful! Especially Jeff. Yas Jeff.

This is the place to be. The food and drinks were great and their menu was on point. Our server Jeff was awesome, he made us feel at home. We met the owner Mario who is a down to earth person. Thanks for the round of drinks on the house Mario. This is going to be my new hangout spot. Love it!!!
Cozy. Comfortable. Affordable. Bathrooms are a work of art. Go check it out.

Their grilled cheese is a must-​try! It has pesto and sauteed onions on it! The food is very affordable, and higher quality than I expected for such low prices.
The interior is relaxing, somewhat dimly lit, and the bar seats are comfortable. Casual and laid-​back.
The cocktails were accurately mixed, and the selection of liquor is adequate.
The customer service was amazing here. The first bartender that served me even took the time to tell me his name (which I’ve since forgotten) and to let him know if I need anything.
The second bartender who waited on me asked me how my food was, and was very cordial. It seems like the people who work here really enjoy their jobs. Both bartenders were prompt and gave service with a smile. I felt very welcome.
I was there this past Sunday, in case the owner is reading this and wants to figure out who was working and commend them.

Brunch Cliff Notes: Food and drinks good AND reasoably priced. The staff is great. Its not stupid packed, so you can actually talk to your friends and actually have a conversation with your server.
The Story: TBH I intially went in because next door was unnessarly packed. Ive been there many times and I would not say the food nor the enviroment is worth waiting for. Ive been to koda for drinks a few months ago but never thought of it as a place to eat brunch. The food is good and reasonaly priced. The service was the best part. The bartender and the server were both charamsmatic and attentive. Koda has definitely earned themselves 2 repeat customers (money allowing).

The food here is AMAZING !
I actually have only had delivery (twice) and both times the food was incredible. So my husband and I had :
1. The fish and chips which were perfectly crispy
2. Pan seared pork chop with whipped parsnips which was off the hook
3.Carrots, brussels sprouts, and garlic
5. Fish sandwich
6. The Spring Rolls. Okay, the spring rolls were actually not good AT ALL. They were dry and bland.
The rest of the food was so good that I still felt this place deserved 5 stars.
Both times I got delivery the delivery guy was so nice and thanked us for the generous tip. We ordered delivery in bad weather both times so we more than doubled our tip.
I’m looking forward to visiting this place in person. I’ll update my review if anything changes

Good food, one hell of a veggie burger and solid fries. SUPER nice people working here, hip bartender and nice server.
Con:
I had an overall bad experience with my meal. We waited 30 minutes for 2 appetizers, one of which couldn’t be made due to a lack of lettuce, making us wait longer. Our food came out and my mate got the wrong order. It’s unacceptable for a waiter to screw up the order if he/​she is confident enough to not write it down. So we all waited another 10 – 15 minutes for his food to come out. And wolfed it down because we were so behind schedule. Then the worst part being the manager aggressively coming and sitting at our table asking who gave the one star review. Trying to explain the plumbing mix up in the bathroom, but dodging the review about the service and food. It all seemed a little strange and very uncomfortable. He offered to comp some of the meal, but By that point all I wanted was to leave.
