I’m giving the three stars because the staff is always so friendly and kind to my grandmother. They call us and let us know approximately what time she will be finished so we can head over. I’ve seen them treat their patients with compassion, care and genuine empathy.
The loss of stars is for the actual surgeons and physicians. My grandmother had a cataract surgery and then 6 months later needed it to be undone. Another 2 weeks later she needed emergency surgery to remove a bubble and will be left with blurry vision in her right eye.
The doctor is in his 70’s, this experience has certainly not been easy on her and it has not been seamless. I think he may be too old to be practicing and I think she has had to have unnecessary surgeries to correct a potential misdiagnose or mistake.
My other gripe is the inability to get them on the phone. If you do not have an extension number it is difficult to get a live person on the phone. After «waiting for a representative who is assisting other callers «for 3 minutes it hung up on me, several times. It’s a poor service and a big inconvenience .

This has more than one optometrist. So more to choose from. Also I’ve only seen two so other than the front desk staff I can only give reviews for the doctors I saw. I always feel comfortable here no matter the wait. Although if you are not the most patient person in the world I would suggest coming in the morning. It tends to get busier as the day goes on. Everyone is helpful and understanding my mother and I have been going to this place for a couple of years now and are satisfied there.
