The best coffee in Brooklyn, by far. I look forward to the weekend for this coffee and of course the atmosphere it provides. There are always great people around to talk to and share coffee and stories with. Every time I go there, I end up spending an hour chatting with everyone, perfect spot!

We were heading to Brooklyn Roasters but glad I discovered this spot. Cool little store front offering old school brewing methods. Nice out door seating in front and dog friendly. Always nice to have another coffee joint offering real good brew!

Kings Coffee is tucked away on Carroll street in what looks like a garage. Look for what looks like science class lab equipment and a tattered menu on the counter. They do great work here and really care about their craft. I didn’t get the guy’s name, but he was super cool to talk to and the effort he put into each drink, even at $ 4 was astounding. I got an iced Americano, and it was excellent. Hope they do well!

This little Jem has made my morning 2 days in a row. I’m in NY for business and decided to check it out. Not only was the coffee absolutely delicious the people were even more amazing! Thank you for amazing service and product and I can’t wait to order your cold brew from home when it’s ready!

This place is the most relaxing café I’ve ever been to. The owner is super friendly. The cold drip is awesome-it’s a lot better than Starbucks. Everything is just so awesome here. My friend was offered a free personalized drink too; she loved it! Thank you so much! We will definitely come back!

GREAT coffee. They use Rok machines, which produce amazing espresso, without electricity! How I hope they can find a storefront before the weather turns bitter cold. Columbia street still needs a good coffee shop, i. e. with good coffee. I tell you, good Coffee Roasters folks, any place you would open on Columbia street, between Carroll and Congress, you would do well.

The best iced coffee I’ve ever had. Seriously. So delicious. What an awesome place. They do a really cool variant of cold brewing that I’ve never seen before but makes amazing coffee I guess. I go as often as I can.

If you’re in the area definitely check out this place. I only got an ice coffee but it was delicious and the staff was awesome.

Just moved to the neighborhood and I was seriously in need of a good cup of joe. Fortunately, I discovered this place. Dominick provides excellent coffee and friendly service. I’m so glad that I found this local neighborhood gem.

When I went here I was able to meet Dominick, a super nice guy, who served up a great cup of coffee(brewing it in a mason jar). I ended up buying a bag of beans while I was there to bring home the experience. I plan on going there again once I am out. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re ever in the area.

This is one of the best coffee places I’ve been to. Dom runs a great neighborhood coffee shop, tells you stories about old coffee roasters, offers you whiskey shots, makes you a ‘cowboy coffee’ in a mason jar(yes a mason jar) and just fills your heart with Brooklyn. If you haven’t been here, you haven’t had a real coffee experience. If you ever make it to Red Hook to eat crabs or go to Ikea or walk around the neighborhood, look for this coffee shop or stay uncool.

By far the greatest coffee shop I’ve ever visited in NYC! This is the kind of place where I feel comfortable sitting down and having a conversation with a friend, the owner or anyone who just happens to be there. Cold Drip Breukelen Dutch Iced Coffee is by far the best I’ve ever had. Made with water sourced from the Widow Jane mine in upstate NY, the flavor is subtle, velvety and totally unique. I like mine black. That’s not to say the rest of their product line isn’t top notch. I’m really digging the espresso with a twist of lemon, and just watching these guys put the time into making it is mesmerizing! Each time I stop by, the place has evolved into something greater, and just for a couple of guys trying to rekindle the old style Italian American coffee shops you’d find in Bensonhurst in years past, I think they are doing a stand up job! Just ask the owner, Dom, to tell you their story.

I’d like to give 3.5 but think 3 is a little unfair. No iced americanos, got a $ 5 iced coffee instead. Was happy to see the proprietor pull a giant jug out of the mini-freezer that said WIDOWJANE. He asked how i took it and i said with just a little milk, i didn’t pay full attention to him preparing it and he poured simple syrup in too. Other info: has seating at the bar /tiny stools on the sidewalk(no tables or indoor seating), organic milk(had whole only while i was there). Pleasant guy, family biz, knows his stuff.
