THEBEST Indian Cuisine in the Park Slope area! I don’t know how people can possibly give less than 5 stars. All the FOOD is FRESH, HIGHQUALITYANDINEXPENSIVE ! If You ever in Park Slope you should stop by at Kinara on 5th avenue in Brooklyn!

Ordered lunch from here and first thing I have to say and the biggest plus in their corner is it came fast! My office is in Red Hook and it seems it takes every place an hour plus to deliver to us so when a place shows up in 30 minutes thats a keeper. Luckily the food was pretty good and not at all expensive. I had the Chicken Tandoori which while a tad dry was still very flavorful with a nice spicy rub permeating the chicken. They served it with Basmati rice and a few cups of sauces that I really couldnt identify, the best of which was the yogurt based one. My coworker had the Aloo Matar Gobi which was cauliflower and potato in a rich, aromatic sauce whos heat really creeps up on you and gets you in the back of the throat. We will be ordering from them again.

Their combos are always a great deal. And I love their Chicken Tikka Masala and Samosas. I’ve always taken out or gotten delivery, so I can’t speak to the ambiance. I love their food though!

Stay clear of this place. The quality of their food is bad and came barely warm. Part of my order was spilled out into the bag and just overall, no no no. Not worth your money for garbage food.

Love the food, waiters are great! Been a regular for years and don’t plan on stopping. The chicken tikka masala makes you experience the delicious flavors without any spicy pain. I don’t need any more pain. Hell, does anyone? Great place!

Sigh. Poor customer service. I really dislike dingy«Indian» restaurants where they: 1. Try to make you sit at a two top on a Monday night when the whole restaurant is Empty empty empty. 2.serve appetizer sized entrees while charging entrée size price 3. Make those entrees so tasteless that you don’t care that you are not getting much 4. Treat Indian customers as less than(there is a Long history of Indian restaurants being less than pleased to serve Indian customers) 5. Ask personal questions and get sarcastic to the customer. Needless to say I’m never going back.

This is my go to Indian take out choice in the area. The food is pretty good! Pretty good flavors, pretty good variety. I’ve gotten a number of different things here over the years and have never been disappointed. It’s not the absolute best Indian food i’ve ever had but it’s good. It’s a little pricey but not too crazy. Delivery is always very prompt.

This place is great. We always get the chicken vindaloo and Tikka Masala with the samosas and ka-Chori as appetizers. We have also tried the lamb boti kabab. Fast delivery have yet to eat at the actual location but enjoy the delivery service from grub hub.

So, sorry to see all the lousy reviews for Kinara. I have been eating take-out from here for years. And I find the quality high: and when I request spicy, which is my preference, they make dishes very spicy, which I really appreciate. Favorite dishes are saag paneer, any vindaloo, bharta, and naan. I do think they are a little pricey for their portion sizes: a chicken dish, $ 14, may have 3 pieces of chicken. I did order a tandoori chicken here once that was SO dry.

Overpriced and tiny food portions. Food is nothing to rave about. You are better off going to a take out place and get your money’s worth

this place is a GEM. the food is fantastic-well spiced and flavorful and criminally cheap. and the service was fantastic. they were very warm, welcoming and attentive. one of the better Indian restaurants I’ve been to in Manhattan or Brooklyn. definitely a well-kept secret.

Food is pretty good. They always skimp on the sauces on delivery orders, though. And definitely do not order the bhel puri — they send only dry puffed rice with no tamarind/cilantro sauce.

So mediocre. I ordered delivery, and it was prompt, but my food was so unimpressive. The garlic naan was good. The rice was so tasteless. My chicken vindaloo was way too vinegar-y and inedible.

You will be hard pressed to find a worse place to eat. This is not Indian food. Even the dipping sauces taste cheap and jarred. Food is plopped on the(sticky) table with no care, no panache, style or flavor. Service sucks. There is no music, just the sound of coughing, staff talking to each other, and walking around in flip flops. The waiter was afraid to ask how the food was. I think he knew. We would have been better off eating heat– in-bag Indian food. Overall gross.

Took some friends out to dinner here and loved it. The prices were very reasonable. They give plenty of sauces for your samosas too! Their naan was so fresh as well. I consider them my go-to for Indian in Park Slope.

So I work close by and once I was passing by and looked in the window and there were 2 guys sitting barefoot picking their toes. Yes! Because I like to take risk I went in there like a fool weeks later. I ordered an appetizer for 7 bucks(expensive but appropriate for the portion size), taste was fine. However the service was crapo — when I pay him I hand him a 10.00 bill. My change of 3 dollars(in coins and bills) he throws it on the table like it would have killed him to place the money in my hand like a normal fuckin human being. Considering what they do with their hands all day may be it was for the best.

First time ordering from here and the LAST. I ordered the«Chana Saag» and it tasted like carp. I’m not even kidding… like absolute fish. The rice was way undercooked and, together, I could barely eat the meal. The best thing about my order was the Coca Cola! Oh… and the delivery was somewhat fast. Before I forget… I found this weird, wiry piece of metal in my rice(see picture)?! I almost swallowed it! I used it, instead, to make a new bracelet! NOT!!!
