Nancy greeted us as soon as we entered the shop. We asked for full evaluations of our skin care routines because we both have skin issues going on. Nancy was wonderful. Evaluated us, took a LOT of time explaining the science and technical side of skin care(Very impressive), then made her recommendations of products based on what we said how much time we were willing to commit to actually do in our routine. She was cool, answered all of our questions, said it made no sense selling products we wouldn’t use to us, never any pressure to purchase. Highly recommend you stop and check in with Nancy and the other team members, see how they can help you. Sidebar– My daughter received a handwritten note from Nancy about a week after our visit, to check on her skin care progress, and offered complimentary quick facial when she was back in the area. Outstanding customer service, and getting extra props from my daughter for taking her to see Nancy, priceless

I love Keihls products, and we just stopped in to restock. They were so aggressive with suggestive selling when we repeatedly told them we only wanted a few things. She continued to try and sell us other products we didn’t want. Skip this place and order online. So aggressive! Cool your heels when people come in trying to purchase products they already like. You’re hurting your business not helping.

Emily saved this review from getting one star. I normally order their products online and decided to go in there yesterday because I had a few questions. I walked in and there was a guy organizing products closest to the door and another guy walking around. Emily was at the register with a customer and once I got to the rear of the store, she kindly said hello to me and that she’d be right with me once she’s done with her customer. The other two guys didn’t look at me nor did they greet me. That was very disturbing. Seeing as though their products are super expensive and the chance of someone visiting their location and NOT buying something is very slim. That was a complete turn off and even made me not want to purchase their products ever again. Again, Emily saved the day. She answered all my questions and even if I stumped her, she found an answer for me and even up-sold me another product I didn’t even go in there for. She rang me up, signed me up for reward points and gave me some samples of another product she introduced me to. I appreciate her level of professionalism and that MIGHT keep me as a customer. Coming from a management background, each employee there should have been trained and coached to greet every customer within 10 seconds(5 for smaller locations) and have been able to engage with new guests and re-engage with the current guests. If I have any more questions, I will either call customer service or call/visit Emily at the store. She’s a rockstar! Oh, and if you’re looking for parking in that area, have patience and/or have someone to wait in the car if you’re sitting at a hydrant.

Love this Kiehl’s location, and Olive the dog often drags me here on our walks. They have a full line of Kiehl’s products – as opposed to the department-store shops – and if they don’t have a sample packet of a particular product, they’ll make one up for you – just like the old days. I usually don’t buy anything at this location, simply because the flagship 3rd avenue store is so much closer to my home. My dog even has a Kiehl’s T-shirt. They have a photo booth here, and I’ve taken Olive in there a few times, but she doesn’t like the flashing lights. We’re working on that.

I’ve been a user of Kiehl’s products for some time now particularly their shampoo and conditioner. I came here to use some coupons, which they send regular customers and also to get some travel sized products for my upcoming trip to Japan. All of the employees were helpful without being overbearing and let us explore the store. When one product we wanted wasn’t available in a TSA approved under 3 ounce size they gave us several samples. This was excellent and we left home feeling ready for the upcoming 15 hour flight.

I came here to try some products and get some advice for my facial skin type. A friend encouraged me to come here since he uses Kiehl’s himself and they do have a wide variety of men’s(beauty) products. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of their products. They answered all my queries sincerely and did not give me a hard sell. but instead, they gave me few product samples that will last me for weeks. Hence, I will be able to tell if the products work their magic on me. Before we left, me and my friend took the opportunity to pose at the free photo booth inside the store. Fun! At the end of the day it is always the customer service that makes my shopping experience so much fun and nice. I will definitely be a regular visitor here. Especially now that I enrolled for their loyalty rewards program.

Welcome to Brooklyn Kiehl’s. This store was very spacious and airy. You’ll find all your favorite products here, and the sales associate was more than helpful. My favorite products include their Ultra Facial Cream and Strengthening and Hydrating Hair Oil-in-Cream(good for curly/natural hair ladies!) On my recent visit, I only stopped in to recycle some old bottles – they have a recycling program and when you return ten full size empty bottles, you get a free travel size product. I also left with a sample – if you are ever on the fence about a product, ask for a sample. I know I’ll be returning this weekend to make a purchase!

The most important thing is this: they’ve got the goods, and those goods are skin care products by Kiehl’s, widely known to be among the best out there. Before I visited this location, I’d only shopped at the Kiehl’s flagship in Manhattan, which is a great store. This location has a different vibe. It’s smaller and flashier, set up to look like a retro-futuristic lab. You can anonymously browse the shelves of the flagship, but not here. The staff is a few feet in front of you as soon as you come in the narrow door, which they watch with a laserlike focus. The day I visited, three people were working there and there were no customers, so there was no way I could just dash over to the shelf and get what I wanted without being apprehended. I realize that it’s good customer service to greet the customer and help him and direct him to products that might interest him, so I can’t fault them for offering that. But for my part, that’s not how I like to shop. If I want help, I’ll ask for help, and a good store will be able to give it to me. But when I saw the three employees in their white labcoat costumes, I felt sure the upsell was coming, and I dreaded it. Kiehl’s has high prices to match its high quality, and I definitely did not want to leave the store with a brand-new, multiproduct skin-care régime and a groaning credit card. «I need a scrub!» I declared with authority, trying to cut off any attempts to diagnose my skin’s needs. The guy took me over to what I suppose is the men’s section and asked«Have you used our products before?» As I answered that I had, I saw the tube of facial scrub that i’d researched on the Internet earlier in the day and announced that it was what I wanted. He was a little surprised by my certainty, so I explained my savvy pre-shopping research. He didn’t try any upsell, but in my frantic effort to avoid a sales pitch, I forgot that I also needed moisturizer. So I guess I’ll be back! The scrub is great. Everything I’ve ever used from this brand is great. It’s a swanky addition to Montague Street, and they are ready to lavish their attention on you.

So happy this opened in my hood! Stopped this afternoon to pick up some face wash and body wash. Store is spacious and very clean with tons of natural light. There was a photo booth set up which was fun to play around with. The sales associates were all very pleasant and approachable.
