Fantastic beer. The green eye IPA, space blonde and threes company Pilsner — are all great beers. I’m kind of a wing snob, and the wings were good. Our sever, Sara was very helpful and friendly! So excited to come back!

Wings could fly me to the promise land. Craft beer is here and super dope. Sports are on all the time. I like sports. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Panko crusted chicken fangers are super good and efficient. Beer can wall is holding up a lonely patron’s dreams. Kristine says dont sleep on this place.

The kitchen closed at 7, which was disappointing as I was pretty hungry. Luckily, the beers they had on tap were pretty light so I didn’t get completely drunk, even though I did try 80 percent of them. I really liked their gastronomical IPA so be sure to give that one a try if you ever come here. Next time, food for sure.

I loved loved loved this place! There was a great variety of beers. I chose a flight of iPas and all had great flavor and hops. I’m not a Reuben lover but my fiancé and brother in law both gushed that this was the best Reuben they have ever had. If you are checking out breweries, DONOT skip this place! Gastronomical IPA, London IPA and Green eyes IPA are all wonderful!

I have never been to Greenpoint or Kegs either and I was happily surprised. The food was good(just s couple of apps) beer was good and service decent as well. The atmosphere is just relaxing which is what we needed and the game was on and everyone just contributed to a welcoming atmosphere. Will be back!

Really great little sports bar with plenty of tvs. The house brewed beers are all good. The food is just ok but still definitely worth coming here to watch the game, enjoy a pitcher & wings, and the nice atmosphere.

I’ve been to Keg & Lantern several times since moving to the neighborhood, and I’ve always had a pleasant experience. The beer is tasty and wings are an awesome deal at happy hour. However, I was nervous about celebrating my birthday there, because I was expecting in the range of 20 people, and I didn’t want to be left with an enormous tab or to be forced into an overcrowded area. Luckily, from the moment I called Keg & Lantern to reserve a table, they were EXTREMELY accommodating. We were given the long table in the back of the room, in addition to a round table, which we ended up not using, and the back patio was available to us. My group was waited on by Mel and John, who were phenomenally attentive and patient with us. They even kept the bill split up into separate tabs, even though we were ordering food and pitchers. It was such a lovely, stress-free experience. I highly reccommend Keg & Lantern for large groups and parties. Also, their food is great! I had the brisket mac and cheese and loooooved it.

Three words: 50 cent wings. Monday and Wednesday. You can’t beat a deal like that. Add that to the numerous TVs, good service, and superb brews that were made in house? Hands down a great location.

I went here for lunch and really loved it. The food was great — I had a fried chicken sandwich and waffle fries that really hit the spot. Overall the place was just really cool, the décor was awesome and it seemed to be well-run.

I like this place! Basketball, beer, and broccoli. The best combination. Galactical IPA was super refreshing and citrusy. All of their beers are so fresh. TV screens everywhere, and a huuuuuge one on the side. Some yummy food options to pair with your beer. Not too loud– you can have conversations with your group or even across different tables. Service was awesome.

Keg and Lantern is a great sports bar that brews their own beer! The food is typical sports bar fare(their wings are great), and the prices are reasonable. What I love about this place is that they have every major sporting event that goes on(including NFL Sunday Ticket) and that they brew their own beer in the basement that is only sold at the restaurant. The types of beer vary but they usually have 8 or so on draft and they are consistently good beers. This place is my local go-to for watching sporting events, and any time I’m in the mood for wings, fries, or a burger this place is one of the top on the list. Finally if I want a good beer and Torst is packed, this is the place to go.

My wife and I have had early lunches at the Keg and Lantern approximately 20 times over the last year. Happy Hour starts at 11:00 A.M. so we usually arrive at about Noon. The waitresses are knowledgeable and friendly, The food is good… but we recommend the burgers which are simply excellent coupled with the waffle style fries. Nice place for a quick meal… we recommend this easily accessed spot for a quick lunch and a couple of beers.

I was reluctant on coming to this place since I have been to the bar before it become Keg & Lantern but I’m glad my friend finally dragged me. Love the vibe of the place– the food is amazing and the staff is very pleasant. They have a great selection of beer on tap and the are in the moderate price range. Wouldn’t mind coming back here again sometime.

I love this place. Best place to watch a game, period. I’m so happy i found a sports bar with great bar food so close to home. They brew their own beer in the basement. and it’s great! The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is also way too good for a sports bar. Can’t wait for football season!

Great beer(brewed on premises), great food($ 0.50 wings on Mondays and a killer burgers & fries), and a great vibe. Laid back, fun, a great place to watch the game with friends. One of my favorite spots in Greenpoint.

Not a bad sports bar. And the food was ok. I kinda think sports bars in New York(especially Brooklyn) are the city’s dirty little secrets – liking sports in NYC can severely hinder one’s hipness. If you need to watch a um, er, uh… a critical… sports events and you have the misfortune of being in the very hipster neighborhood of Greenpoint/Willamsburg at the time, then you can go to da Kegger, get your game on, and feel ok about being a dorky sports fan living in NYC.

3.5 stars… When we were there they at 13 beers(all brewed on premises in their basement supposedly) though several of the beers we wanted to try were out. Oddly they don’t offer flights or tastings but do offer half pints(8oz for $ 3) which is a better deal than just about any beer tasting I’ve come across before. They don’t list this option on their menu though. The place seems like any other bar with a full menu, not really a brewing company so don’t expect the standard brewery feel or service. All the beers we tried here tasted fairly similar and had a bit of a funk flavor to them(not necessarily in a bad way). The plus side was they all tasted very fresh and were properly chilled. The sunny backyard was a nice place to sit and enjoy the day even though it was covered by a clear plastic tent. We didn’t get any food this time around but the offerings looked great as did their daily deal list. I wouldn’t put this on any best of list but it’s a great spot none the less.

Honestly this place is just not my cup of beer you can say. for a brew in house bar the selection is ridiculously mediocre. low percentage beer nothing to really stands out. The food is just as bland. I ordered the southwestern chili and it had a thick film of oil over it, tried to stir it up to see if it fixed anything but it just stayed disgusting. My boyfriend ordered the Angus Brisket Burger medium rare and it came out like a hockey puck. safe to say we didn’t enjoy either of our dishes. Now to the service. I’m not sure if these people are just down right miserable or if they don’t know what proper service is whatever it was they were slow, unfriendly, and rude. When asked to speak to a manager I was told they weren’t available. Hence the management of this place is most likely failing.

Keg&Lantern was such an awesome find while my friends and I were in Brooklyn. We were wrapping our day of walking around and wanted a place to relax and get some drinks. K&L happened to be nearby so we walked on over and they just happened to have an awesome happy hour going on at the time as well. We were sold. We got beer, wings, and waffle fries for a steal. Definitely will meet(if not exceed) your expectations for bar food. I liked the cool décor inside with the wall made up of a zillion different beer cans. Our server/bartender lady was super nice and I was impressed that she was manning the bar and serving people at tables at the same time too. There was a soccer(I know, I know it’s football) game so it was pretty loud in there – seems like the spot to catch a game. Definitely a great spot to check out for happy hour in Brooklyn!
