Great primary care doctor.

So intelligent, very careful to answer all my questions and even drew a diagram. There wasn’t one thing he didn’t do without explaining it first-​/​and the receptionist is like sunshine in a person. Every experience was great.

Went for a physical and was diagnosed with bronchitis and asthma. Prescribed me an inhaler (which i never used) even though i didn’t feel sick or short of breath at all. Then got a bill for extra charges that the insurance company wouldn’t pay. Feels like a scam to me. This is not the first review here that has gone along these lines.

i can see why the reviews are weird. this guy is kinda nutty, but then who isn’t. i found him pretty straightforward and honest. he listened to me and gave his recommendation fairly. he ordered a bunch of tests, but asked me first. i’ll report back when i get the results. he was a little mean to his employee while i was there but had nothing to do with me. overall i felt he was a good doctor.

As an existing patient with health insurance, when I make an appointment, I expect to be seen. I changed insurance and because they could not get in touch with the insurance company, the doctor would not see me. I told them that I would pay with a credit card and then seek reimbursement from my insurance and he would still not see me. I love wasting mornings at a doctor’s office.

Best doctor. Went to Beth Israel on n7 and they told me I had a viral infection. One week later was still feeling awful so went to Dr. Kaminski and found out I had pneumonia. He was amazing, knowledgable, and gave me all the drugs I needed to get better! Totally recommend!

I went to Mark Kaminski for an annual physical and before even doing a physical or taking a proper history he diagnosed me with asthma and had me doing a nebulizer treatment. I had never presented with any signs or symptoms of asthma and he never even listened to bilateral breath sounds never mind do a real assessment on me at all. This guy needs to have his license taken away. When I received my insurance statement I was charged for a physical in addition to an asthma exacerbation, this guy is a total scam.

Extremely unhelpful and rude staff. There was a discrepancy with my insurance due to an office typo in my contract number and the manager «Paul» was very difficult and rude to deal with. This minor problem was dragged on and on due to the inefficient and lazy staff. Terrible customer service!!!

The doctor is great and friendly, his staff is not so great, it takes forever to get a prescription written and the front desk lady didn’t know what an epipen was… Overall they’re fine and nice but if you need a prescription order it 4 days in advance. They’re open from 9am-​1pm on Saturdays though which is really nice if you have a full time job seeing as they’re open from 11am-​6pm on weekdays.

Amazing experience. And, didn’t charge my insurance company an «arm and a leg» — the main reason our healthcare is corrupt in the US.

This guy sucks ass! Arrogant and very unprofessional. He decided to diagnose me with something pretty serious without actually doing any of the tests that would be required to confirm this certain diagnosis. Since I am not a doctor I didn’t know to question him so left his office shaken up, crying and freaking out about what he told me was wrong w me… he started me on all kinds of medications that cost me almost $ 200. When i went to the pharmacy and she saw what medications he had me getting she started to question it and told me i should get another opinion maybe bc its not common for a doctor to make such a diagnosis without tests etc. When i went back to the office with the medications (some of which were injections i had to give myself at home) i tried to speak to him to get more info about what he said i had — his reply «i know what im talking about and this is serious» so with that i began medicating myself… i decided to reach out to some friends of mine who are RN’s and MD’s — when i explained what happened they were shocked and advised me to go to an ER ASAP to confirm i needed those medications as they are SUPER dangerous (especially with someone who has stomach problems — which i told Dr Kaminski about). Turns out after the ER visit and a follow up with a specialist I was completely mis diagnosed and every doctor i saw in the ER and the specialist asked me what kind of «quack» would do such a thing! Oh let me mention that with the meds i was on i was going to need weekly visits to his office for blood work etc so everyone assumes this was his way to possibly make money??? hmmmm anyway _​STAY AWAY FROM THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A DOCTOR!!! oh by the way — after some research turns out this guy hasnt been board certified since 2008 or something like that??? just sayin…

I live in the neighborhood so it’s convenient to have a doctor nearby (Tues., Weds. Fri & Sat if i recall correctly).
Dr. Kaminski is very friendly and sympathetic. I came in for a regular checkup and he was very attentive. I’m also quite surprised by the review of his outburst. He is usually very busy with taking care of his patients, so I wouldn’t be alarmed if he seems rushed.

I’m surprised at the review of his outburst. He’s always been very professional and sincere, and I’m very thankful that he diagnosed my asthma for the first time in my life at age 39! He’s also very pragmatic in regards to working with people without insurance, and will keep the visits as cheap and infrequent as possible.

Can’t speak much to his medical skills yet, but he has great bedside manner. No hint of forced kindness, burnout or condescension.

He’s a great general practitioner AND accepts most insurance, even my crappy GHI. I can always get a timely appointment, and have rarely had to wait long to see him. His office is super clean and his staff are really great and thoughtful. I use him for general care (i.e. flu, bronchitis, UTI) because I like an accessible local GP that is up to date and will save me the trip to the city. Which is priceless if you are feeling all ick and out of whack.
