Nope, not impressed. I ordered a lunch delivery from here – a salad combo, with a jerk chicken salad and some kind of smoothie, which was supposed to also include a bag of sun chips. First off, my delivery took over an hour (for 1 salad and a smoothie!) which was crazy, especially considering that I’m less than half a mile away. Then, the salad was crazy small, and really not good. Chicken was rubbery and generally flavorless, and it was just a miss all around – lacking toppings, had some weird faux-​bacon, and they put the dressing on the salad itself which i’ve never seen done with a salad delivery before. Secondly, I was supposed to get a bag of sun chips, but instead got a bag of regular Wise potato chips or something. Bleh. And then lastly, the smoothie just tasted like straight fruit juice (and also was a very thin consistency like juice). So, overall, def went way below my expectations.

The best grilled veggie pita I’ve had since living in bed stuy. It’s a small place, really friendly mom/​pop vibe. I originally wanted a bagel sandwich, but didn’t see the breakfast menu until after I ordered. I’m not even mad, this pita was perfectly grilled, with feta and your choice of artisan mayo (I went with the aioli). They have a good amount of vegetarian options, and fairly well priced. Definitely will be my favorite lunchtime spot
Definitely will need to try the smoothies, they had lots of green options, and no yogurt or milk-​based smoothies which is good if you’re vegan. Bottom line this place was tops.

This coffee shop is a jewel. When I moved into the neighborhood I was bummed because there’s no healthy and nice places to grab a coffee or a sandwich. Then I discovered Kaffe Koppen and it’s become my official Sunday hangout place in the area. The Swedish-​American couple (Paul & Annette) that owns and manages the place is lovely and welcoming, and the menu is full of good smoothies and sandwiches at nice prices. They’re always up for a nice chat with the customers and from the loyalty of the clientele you can tell people appreciate it.
Try the Splash smoothie and the Philly Cheese sandwich!

I’ve never had any problems with this place. My food always shows up promptly and the delivery guy is so nice. Their quesadillas are the bomb! I order from them quite a bit because their quesadillas are so damn good!

HORRIBLE. The boss just yelled at the representative from Grubhub and refused to give a refund when i ordered a WRAP and received a BAGEL. it was a crazy incident. horrible customer service. never ordering again.

Lot this place. Delivery is fast and they make some killer breakfast food. I get their classic smoothie, cheese quesadilla, and ham and cheese on a hard roll.

I have ordered at least 5 times from them and not once has it been less than 5 stars. Their menu has a healthy combination from smoothies to paninis and flatbreads. I typically get the chicken jerk with sun dried tomato sauce and a blueberry smoothie. For the first time ordered delivery (eat24) and got my order in 30 minutes. Half the time they estimated it would be delivered and then I took the walk around the corner and just ordered to go.
Give them a try and don’t let sour people with shitty delivery experience deprive you of this jewel.

I was working on a photo production in Bed-​Sty and Kaffe Koppen was recommended by the location manager at The Muse. I spoke directly to the owner the day before, placed a breakfast and lunch order for 15 people and everything was great. The crew was happy and that makes me happy!
The breakfast and lunch were both super yummy and delivered exactly on time. The smoothies were even cold (fresh) when they arrived. Bonus points for being punctual!

The portions for the big bed stuy breakfast were super small compared to what I’ve had from other breakfast places. When I opened up the container all the food was smashed together in one corner. I guess it was a bumpy bike ride. I also ordered the fruit smoothie. See the pic in the pics section. I paid $ 6 for a shot of blended berries and a scoop of creatine.

I live down the street from this place and finally decided to pop in. The girl behind the counter didn’t seem to know anything on the menu. I ordered a smoothie and a sausage panini. The smoothie was icey and flavorless. Supposedly it had kale, soymilk, banana and pineapple but she must have forgotten half of the ingredients. Not a shocker since she didn’t know the menu. Upon ordering the sausage panini she asked me what kind of sausage, apparently there was only one kind. Why ask then? The panini itself was sloppily put together on a ciabatta roll. There was barely any sausage, I mean for $ 8 for just a sausage panini, I want a SAUSAGE panini which was suppose to have peppers and mozzarella cheese and salad, instead what I got was something that was left in a cold panini press, the guy making it left out the cheese, peppers and pretty much only layered the bottom bread with the skimpiest amount of sausage. So yeah, that’s my first time experience, and this is from actually ordering at the place, I can totally believe their food is complete garbage if you ordered for delivery.
The chef is also a loser who will make homophobic slurs and try to insult you if you leave any negative reviews. Just FYI.

It’s an adorable hole-​in-​the-​wall with great food. I’ve had their Saratoga Chicken and Spicy Steak. Their aioli and tomato mayo are sooo good. The chef is hilarious and the staff are friendly. Tip: Order online for pickup and your next meal is free!

Food took an hour and a half, smoothie is watery and the people on the phone were rude. Never, ever, ever again. Oh, and they forgot part of my order. Gross.

Straight up the worst Bushwick delivery experience I have ever had. Entirely unprofessional and devoid of anything remotely resembling customer service.
I placed an order with Grubhub. My food was an hour late, and when I called the restaurant to check on the status after it was 20 minutes late, the girl that answered the phone went «uhhh, it’s past the scheduled delivery time so it should be there any minute.» Well, no shit. It took another 40 minutes for my food to arrive, and when it did, it was the wrong fucking order.
At that point, I got on chat with Grubhub and tried to resolve the issue. I was still willing to have them deliver my order, but they straight up hung up on the Grubhub customer service person after telling him they had no idea where my food was.
Don’t get me wrong, I work in the industry. I understand how it is, and I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but at that point of colossal fuckup after another you fucking refire the food and send out a new one, not tell the customer to go fuck themselves. Absolutely pathetic.
Shame, I enjoy their food. I will never order from them again. This is the type of professionalism that makes places go out of business, and I honestly feel as though they deserve to.

Great coffee! Had breakfast of the Swedish pancakes, which seemed small. But maybe that’s the way the Swedes eat them:) But they were delicious and full of flavor. Friendly service.
I’ll take note from the other Unilocaled and not get delivery from here. But this seems like a place where you would grab a to go cup of coffee on your way to work anyways.
While I’ve not done this yet, they do accept paypal, so you can order ahead of time and cut the line. But there’s a $ 10 minimum on credit cards, so I’d recommend that Avenue for lunch, not a breakfast cup of coffee.

Very annoying experience.
Ordered a simple turkey sandwich with avocado. Instead, I received a bacon sandwich with plenty of surprise toppings, cucumbers and onions? No avocado…
My second sandwich arrived with surprise! No avocado! I’m sure you understand the severity of this situation.
The women answering phones who is apparently the owner is rude. She demanded the delivery boy to refund me out of his tips which I’m sure he won’t get back. She did not offer me any further assistance, even after I had waited three hours for her restaurant to deliver me a sandwich. I was nothing but understanding and she could care less about her customers, and therefore her business.
In the end, I tipped two delivery drivers and received nothing but a bad attitude.
P. S. My wife got sick from the egg sandwich we ordered too.

I feel terrible because the delivery boy was really lovely, but my food arrived 40 minutes after the max time quoted on seamless and everything was cold. I don’t own a microwave because Gwenyth Paltrow probably said so. Anyway, I just want you to know that the everything was absolutely inedible. Like, that bad.

The worst delivery experience I’ve ever had.
This was my first time ordering delivery from here. I liked that Seamless gave me a notification when the delivery was sent out. I figured that it would take them about 30 minutes to arrive so I took a shower. The delivery person got to my place within 15 minutes and I was in the shower. I don’t have a buzzer so he called my phone. I hurried and turned off the water to answer and all I heard was mumbles and then he hung up. I figured it was the food.
I threw on clothes and went downstairs, assuming he was downstairs. I waited and waited and finally a guy on his bike strolled up. He waved me to come over, seriously? I was wearing a tank top and skimpy shorts in the cold. I proceeded to walk to the sidewalk and he then took his time to take out the food while scoping me out. Disgusting.
After I got in and opened my order, it just looked completely uneatable. It seriously looked and smelled like it had sat out all day. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was hair in it. Disgusting x2
I work in the service industry and I hate saying that, but this is just no no no. I don’t even write Unilocal reviews and discourage people from writing them. At the end of the day, this place needed a very negative review.

As others have said… do not order delivery from them. My order was supposed to be here at 1:00 and at 1:50 the restaurant called and said they buzzed but nobody answered (even though I told them to call me since my buzzer is broken). They said they weren’t willing to re-​delivery because the driver didn’t feel safe in the neighborhood. Why is my neighborhood even in your delivery area if your drivers don’t feel safe? Just seemed like a good excuse…
I never got my food.

Enjoying a veggie breakfast with feta and real veggies with my coffee for a flat $ 5. The wrap wasn’t the type to fill you, but built for on-​the-​go. Two small tables, 5 seats, and the news playing with some alt rock from the back.
All they serve is coffee for your caffeine, but in trade of a plethora of food and smoothies and other drinks reasonably priced.

This place is great! So crazy to see a Swedish café in the middle of Bed Stuy. Annette and Paul make delicious healthy sandwiches in all different styles. They have smoothies, coffee and tea too, yes they have almond milk for the lactose intolerants AND Classic Swedish pancakes which are like better crêpes. Annette is from Gotland which is an island off the coast of Sweden so she’s the real deal. Paul, from Jersey is a great boss who helps his autistic delivery guy Jerome immensely with constant stimulation and attention. C is the muscle and knows everybody in the neighborhood and Juan cooks up the marvelous meals. There’s a couple of stools by the counter inside and a couple of little tables outside for when it’s sunny so it’s good for couples. This was my first time here and I can proudly report that this is not a douchey hipster couple messing up Brooklyn. I’ll definitely be back.
