I was visiting from Cali. Stopped by to see Juanchi, and what a great decision it was. He was fast, professional and much skills. Dextrous with the blade. Made me wish I lived here to get my beard trimmed up all the time. When I get back to Brooklyn, I’m definitely coming back here.

Juan is a great dude. I just moved to Brooklyn and needed a great, inexpensive cut. Usually my haircuts last 2 weeks before I need a new one, but whatever magic Juan worked made my fade so fresh it lasted 3 weeks. He’s a magician. Also a great dude to hold a conversation with. I definitely recommend this shop when you’re in the neighborhood.

This place is great!
I was on a bit of a time crunch and the place I usually go to is in Midtown East, so I went to this place which is only a few blocks away. It’s a bit of a hole in the wall, but these guys know what they’re doing.
There were 2 barbers in at that moment, and I got my haircut from a taller dude with braided hair. He seemed to only speak Spanish, and so the other barber (who I assume is the owner) did a few translations along the way. In the end I got a solid haircut for $ 15, and I’m 100% coming back here.

I came in for a quick haircut over last weekend and I am glad I found this place thanks to Unilocal.Juan was awesome with the clippers and with a great price too. When I came in I thought this place was owned by someone chinese because of the name LOL Juan is from the DR and has a very relaxed personality. It was great getting a haircut from him. I would give him 5 stars but I give him 4 because a place that has too many 5 star reviews looks suspicious but this place is legit. Maybe if the place was a little cleaner is my only criticism but he gives a great haircut for a very good price.

I’ve been cutting my hair for a few months now and I finally decided today that I would have it professionally done. Being that I recently moved to bushwick I wasn’t sure where I should go for a proper fade.
After reviewing a few places I decided to try Juanchi Barber Shop. Juan was very friendly and welcoming, made me feel right at home. I am very pleased with the fade and I will be coming back.
