Ju Feng Chinese Restaurant

I found Ju Feng on Grubhub. They currently have 31 reviews averaging nearly 5 stars. They take credit cards (on Grubhub), and deliver. Sounds great… NOT great.
THE BAD: Tonight Grubhub had a credit card processing error so I couldn’t pay that way. I decided to set up the order as cash and pick it up so I could use a credit card at the store. Nope, they only take cash at the store. Major bummer! And parking is difficult so you have to double park in a busy area with a bus stop, not my style.
MORE BAD: The vegetable dumplings should be called cabbage dumplings since they contain only shredded cabbage and a tiny speck of carrot. The pastry is the thick heavy kind, bleh. The fried rice is very bland. We doctored it up with soy sauce so it would taste like something. The veggie bean curd soup was nice with fresh ingredients, however, I paid for a quart and only received a pint. Another screw-​up: we ordered extra white sauce and received tartar sauce instead.
THE OKAY: My family reports that their dishes (sweet & sour chicken, sesame chicken, shrimp & broccoli) were much like they’d expect from any Chinese takeout and in no way special. The best thing about it was that the fried items weren’t very oily. The Chinese noodles were also not oily, but we only got a little since the bags were only half-​filled.
So yeah, I guess I feel like somebody sold me the Brooklyn Bridge. In the future I will always cross-​check Grubhub ratings with other review sites.

I want to like this place but it’s so hard! Two orders in and I don’t think I’ve seen enough to convince me to order more.
The fried chicken was delicious but over-​cooked. The fried rice held some questionable peas, and some over cooked vegetables. The most aggressive thing in the order has to be the wonton soup. Too much salt! Almost dangerous to ingest honestly.
The only reason this restaurant gets 3 stars is due to the prompt service. Open late for 3^rd shifters, and quick and efficient. Almost a little TOO quick?

Love the food her, the place is clean and the food taste fresh. Everyone is nice and friendly, they deliver but I like visiting the place. There are tables inside if you want to enjoy your meal at the place, but it is more of a take out restaurant.

Used to be my favorite chinese restaurant until they were closed down by the health department. Stay away!

I found this place on seamless and they’re my new go-​to Chinese spot. I’ve tried their honey and buffalo wings = delicious. They’re egg foo young = delicious. They’re boneless ribs and cheese wontons = delicious. I will definitely continue to order from them.

This place is simply the best. The food is always delicious, the delivery guys are always nice, and they never forget anything. Always fast delivery and great food.

Run of the mill Corner-​Store Chinese food. Nothing special on the menu, and the service leaves much to be desired. If you really want fried chicken at 10pm and you live in the Nostrand Ave/​Kings Highway area, this is an option.
