I signed up for Unilocal just so I could write this review. I’ve never felt compelled to write a negative review for any business until today. The food is sorely overpriced, which I was unaware of until it arrived. I ordered very simple things. Eggs & potatoes, a side of fries and a Monster Juice.
1 — The eggs and potatoes were disgusting. The eggs were oily and soggy and so were the potatoes In addition the potatoes are cooked with bacon and there is no mention of this on their menu.
2 — The fries were literally McDonald’s fries. Literally. And on top of selling me second-​hand fast food they were stale. It was as if they bought fries from McDonalds earlier this week, reheated them and delivered them to me in a greasy plastic bag.
3 — The monster juice was okay.
I spent over twenty dollars for all of this. They will never receive an order from me again.

I ordered from seamless and my delivery was late by 45 mins according to eta they gave me. To top it off the delivery guy asked to bum a cigarette from me when he finally showed up.

DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM HERE.
This afternoon my girlfriend, home with the flu and a 102 degree fever, ordered some juice and lentil soup. After 90 minutes I called them to check on the order and no one answered the phone. I called at least ten times and every time it went to some kind of weird automated answer service. The order never showed up and there’s no way to contact them.

I ordered some things off of Grub Hub. I know they received my order, because someone called me asking if I could take off a menu item since they had run out of it. And then… THEY JUST DIDN’T SHOW UP.
What? Who does that?

The other reviews about ordering delivery are absolutely true. We ordered from GrubHub two hours ago and we still haven’t gotten the food. We got a text an hour ago saying our food was out for delivery. We called about 30 minutes ago and they said it just went out.
I wouldn’t recommend delivery.
UPDATE: We waited one more hour for our food and then called and cancelled the order. Had to call grubhub to sort things out. So we went 3 and a half hours with no food.

My problem with Jolie’s is not the food! The food is good but beware that if you use grub hub your order will likely take over two hours. And that .9 miles away from the café!

I literally signed up for Unilocal to write this review. Let me be clear, I work in the industry and I usually find this a forum for unnecessary whining. HOWEVER, this place is a joke. I ordered food 2 hours ago. When I called a half hour ago, it hadn’t even been prepared. I was told in would be here in 5 minutes, 20 minutes ago. I ordered breakfast and it’s now lunch time. I can’t even comment on the food, because I don’t even have it yet. When I called the lady was really nice, though not appropriately contrite. She offered to bring me a free coffee, which might have been nice if it wasn’t now lunch time. At this point, I could use a protein shake and a stiff drink.
Update: The food arrived. Completely inedible. There was cheese in my eggs (i’m lactose intolerant). Meat in the potatoes (my gf is a vegetarian)…and the entire thing was cold and obviously just thrown in a bag. INFURIATED.

I should have gone by Courty W.‘s review since that was the most recent… No idea if the food here is any good when it’s actually warm/​delivered on time, but my delivery was an HOUR LATE — an hour after my «estimated» delivery window (which was already an hour after I had ordered) — and when you’re ordering a freaking crêpe, an extra hour means your food is cold, soggy, and inedible. What a waste of money and time.

Excellent food. Simple, clean décor. The crêpe I had was really tasty, as was the side of bacon. A welcome addition to our neighborhood. Very nice place.

This café opened in Bed Stuy just over a month ago and I was surprised to find that it’s not yet on Unilocal!It’s a good-​sized café with plenty of seating and an amazing menu of French-​themed goodies. I had the kale baguette, ratatouille, and coffee and everything was fantastic. I was doing some work for school and probably stayed there for about 2 hours. There are plenty of outlets for those who want to bring their electronics and the waitress was lovely. The owner was there as well and everyone was friendly and helpful.
The food is what really stands out. What I had was ammmaaazzzzing and I can’t wait to try out the rest of their menu. It’s often very quiet, but deserves to be a busy place. I hope that being on Unilocal helps it out.
