I have lived in this neighborhood for almost 9 years and tried many pizzeria. Johnny is my favorite until today. The food tasted good but the service really turned me off, the cashier had so much attitudes for the couple questions I had about my orders and the price. Now I am hesitate to go back.

The Grandma Pie is so good, and the pastas are too, especially those with meatballs, but delivery is SOSO slow. You will be waiting over an hour and probably 2. If that’s fine with you, it’s a good option.

Okay I’ve been a regular customer for Johnnys Pizza. I“ve be giving 5stars before. I like their pizza. But today I went in using my Unilocal app that says«$ 1 off when you check in ordering a 14» pie. I showed to the employee or boss, he started giving me attitude«he was like what the fuck is this, how come I never know about this coupon…» If you are the owner and see this review please let all your employee know about this Unilocal thingy or coupon are whatever. If you don’t want to give discount then take it off the coupon from Unilocal. I am not being cheap or anything and I don’t mind paying regular price to order pizza. But it’s on Your Unilocal page. So please fix this problem Thanks

Came here for takeout the other night and asked for a fresh mozzarella slice, a grandma slice, and 5 garlic knots. When I got home and opened the box, I realized that they probably misheard me because they gave me a regular slice instead of a grandma slice. I was disappointed because I was very excited to try the grandma pie. However, the two slices still satisfied my pizza craving. It took me about 15 minutes to walk home, but the slices were still nice and warm. Will definitely be coming back here to try the grandma pier. Hope they hear me better next time.

Best pizza joint in the neighborhood. Ordered the chicken parm sandwich and a white slice and both were fantastic. The folks working there are very nice and the prices are right. Highly recommended.

Great customer service, my husband’s phone couldn’t pull up the discount and the owner Johnny personally helped him. The chicken parm was fresh and tasty. The portions are great for the price.

The guys here at Johnny’s are always pleasant and the pizza is SO good. My godmother from California came to visit me and loved it so much she ordered 3 pies and packed it to bring back to cali. I don’t understand why people complain about the guys being rude… they’ve always been great to me. They’re just busy all the time, so they don’t waste time. My mom back in California craves their pizza and calls me to complain about how disgusting papa John’s is when she bought pizza to help curb her Johnny’s fix. She was disappointed of course. How can papa John’s ever compare? Anyway, get a slice or a whole pie. You won’t be disappointed

Ordered delivery from Johnny’s – it came relatively quickly(about 35 minutes) but everything was cold when it got here. It wasn’t a particularly chilly day, so I’m wondering how long my food sat before it was picked up and delivered. The cheese fries were good, but the pizza looked undercooked – the mozzarella had no browning on top, etc. It was alright when I reheated it in the oven – but I shouldn’t have to recook a pizza I just had delivered. I’d buy again but with much more caution.

Avoid if u can… service sucks. Ordered food, waited while they gave everybody else their food… even people that came in after me. Asked about my order and guess what? They hadn’t even started on it. 2 stars cause pizza was ok. Sauce was watered down. Never again!

I can see why they failed and is a road less traveled to these days. For the first thing, price and taste quality, they fall far below. As observed, they nickel and dime over a slice of pizza and soda. I know cheese pizza and how to tell the levels of quality. They like to grab money, and don’t like price questions, well then the solution is if the slice it near $ 2.75 then make it so. I always inspect the elements on the wall menu’s first. Lastly, I got dirty looks from 2-of the counter guys who I do believe are new. I was here a few times within the last 3 years so I know the deals. I «continuously» get better service from a 7-Eleven then here.

Love this place. My favorite pizza. Come here 5 times a week. Staff are friendly. The square and the 14″ inch pie are my favorite. The sauce is delicious. Not sour at all. And a lot of cheese

I came here expecting the pizza to be really good but it was only ok for us, though the price of a small 14″ pie for around $ 6 can’t be beat. Going up to a 20″ increases the price a lot though, as a tip.

Pizza is okay, however, the service is TERRIBLE. The guys are rude, move slowly and take no care with your experience. Once they forgot my slices in the oven, and then refused to give me two slices which weren’t burnt. Another time they told me slices would be 10 minutes and they told me to «relax» after I inquired about my pizza 20 minutes later. The place is not clean, and the same hands which took my money handed me my food. The pizza is yummy though, if you can retain your appetite while being treated like dirt.

Johnny’s is still great a place to get pizza, steak n cheese on a hero n more. The only minus is they forgot my snapple drink I ordered but never the less I didn’t call back because it’s about the food when u go Johnny’s or order for delivery.

Quick delivery, cheap food that is pretty good! I just placed another order but for my first one I tried a slice of the lasagna pizza which was so good, a pinwheel(fairly small and a little overdone but good) and buffalo wings(good) Today delivery was super fast and the order was correct though the Stewarts was downgraded to a canned root beer for the same price :-/ The zeppoles are a must, so good. The salad was a big no. Cutlet w garden vegetables and just tasted mediocre at best.

ONEHOTBLEEDINGCHEESYMESS of a pizza slice I asked for. Fresh out of the oven, but shouldn’t be oozing all over my hands. Kudos for quick sidewalk service, though, but not that tasty. Sorry guys.

True brooklyn pizza. If anybody actually believes Grimaldi’s is good then a slice from Johnny’s should keep you coming back. This place has been a neighborhood staple throughout the decades and has endured the worst of economic troubles. There’s about 6 or 7 tables for a group of people. The pizza is here is some of the best I’ve had. A plain slice, square, or a chicken roll are GREAT choices(pretty much all I eat). There’s nothing bland about their pizza, I don’t go to anywhere else in Brooklyn except here. Other places can take note.

Greatest Pizza place ever !!! I grew up eating Johnny’s and returned for the first time since 1986 the other day. Nothing has changed. The place stays true to its roots, real Brooklyn pizza. My daughter has dreamed of eating there since she was a kid and finally got her wish. The pizza is a great quality and the guys that work there are the best and really care about the neighborhood they are in. I sat and watched for about 30 minutes as a bunch of customers came in and ordered. They talked to them like they were family coming to order a pizza. It was great. Keep your Dominoes. Keep your Papa Johns. Keep your Pizza Hut. Johnny’s is the way Pizza should be!
