I came to Dr Jeffrey’s office for consultation. He’s and excellent person and such a great dentist. He’s honest and tells you what needs to be done. Not less, not more exactly what you need.

After avoiding the dentist like the plague for years, I broke a tooth and had another that might have actually had the plague. I contacted Dr. Dressel’s office after being HIGHLY recommended by a friend and they adjusted their schedule to see me the next day. From the moment you see the front door of their office it is a dream. The building is beautiful on a peaceful street in carroll gardens. You walk in and the receptionists are all patient, helpful and actually take time with you instead of shoving forms in your face like most offices. Not only did Dr. Dressel and Dr. Gardner (with minimal pain) fix all of my dental problems, they always took the time to explain every procedure, and were always only a phone call or email away if I had any questions. Dr. Dressel always would respond to me within the hour of an email or phone call, and I had many of them. And it wasn’t his staff writing back, it was him!
I am a committed Dr. Dressel patient and am so happy I dont have to keep looking for a stellar dentist and dental team.

Absolutely the best dentist I’ve ever had. Bedside manner to the 9’s, best hygienists, reception and state of the art facility and skills. I’ve been seeing Dr Dressel for 10 years and feel guilty for not posting earlier. You can’t go wrong here, really.

In an ever changing city, it is so nice to see an office that truly feels like home grown quality. Dr Dressel and his staff always have a smile on their face and remember small details about their patients. I used to go to an office that was in network with my insurance but I never felt the quality and compassion like I do with Dr Dressel. You get what you pay for! They run on time, are efficient with sending out your insurance for you, and most of all do great work! I love this office! True quality!

Broken veneer. Lovely assistants fitted me in quickly. Dr. Dressel couldn’t have been more efficient with the repair and what a wonderful experience even though I had to be numbed (which I hate) and drilled a little. Was I really at the dentist? Hats off to this truly talented dentist. 5 stars isn’t enough.

I only waited 10 minutes before entering, they checked me, and told me what need to be done. Top of the line facility and equipment, everything feel fresh and clean.

State of the art facility. Been coming to Dr. J for 15 years. He always has the most modern equipment, which means less time and less pain.

Almost 0 wait time, friendly staff who was very aware of any discomfort. The cleaning was as painless as it can get. I highly recommend this office. The woman at the front desk was great. Ella, who cleaned my teeth, was very kind and explained everything clearly. Dr. Dressel was also helpful and very willing to answer any of my questions. This office has good energy.

Amazing welcoming neighborhood. most of the days parking waiting for me right outside and most professional and pleasant staff. Always very clean facility and even toys for waiting kids. Dr himself is a perfectionist and do uses the best available material. He is rates are way above the average but we all know that quality does not come with a low price. For any cosmetic work if you need to be sure you’re getting the best I would definitely go todr. Dressel. Also he’s dental hygienist is so well-​trained and that’s such a detailed work that I thought my teeth have actually never been cleaned before. Thank you entire staff for A+ expedience. By the way I used he’s recommendation for oral surgeon and have been very happy with quality off service as well.

I found Dressel on Unilocal and chose his office because they were the closest to my house. And I lucked up!
I scheduled for cleaning and to have a filling. After years of not going to a dentist I was worried about what to expect, but my worry was unfounded.
They have a comfortable waiting room with great magazine selection. Everyone in the front desk is great (hi Camilla)
The hygienist who gave my cleaning could not have been more informative or gentle.
Dr. Dressel was as pro as I imagine a dentist can be. He had my whole filling done in 30 minutes. And it looks better than the original. Thinking about neglecting all my teeth so I can have them all replaced and made better looking.
Anyway, in reality I hope to not have to have anything ever done to me medically or dentally again, ever. But if I do need dental help I will not hesitate to call this operation.

Never have I had reason to tell others that I have the best dentist until I started going to Dr. Jeffrey Dressel, and I say it only because it’s the honest truth. He’s extremely knowledgeable, personable, and really takes the time to go over the issues with you and explain everything in a way that you can understand. He also administers Novocain in a way that does not feel like your gums are being injected with hardened glass. This is a serious plus. His office rocks, the hygienists are great, and they play some great music (not your typical dentist music.) I’ve sadly since moved to CA, but am still scheduling my dentist appointments at Dr. Dressels during my trips back home to brooklyn.

OK, Let’s face it, going to the dentist sucks.
If you’ve managed to muster up the courage to see a dentist, and you live in Brooklyn, you should seriously consider Dr. Dressel.
Why?
Well, aside from all the high-​tech wizardry (digital everything — he can even «scan» your teeth and mill a dental crown in his office!), him and his staff are warm and unpretentious, and are the sort of people you’d spend lunch with if you could.
Location is pretty convenient too, right off Clinton and 2^nd place.
PS: Bonus points for his gorgeous outdoor garden! Who’s your landscaper, Dr. D?

Do you want a dentist who is dedicated, and really loves what he does? Well my dentist Dr Dressel left his house in Central Jersey at 5 am to make it in during today’s nor’easter. Nuf said!

Excellent dental care at reasonable prices — and insurance is accepted. My wife and I switched from another Brooklyn dentist who charged almost twice as much.

To quote a past dentist of mine, «You have had much dentistry in your life, young lady.» And he was right. After multiple root canals and crowns, all over NYC, the Midwest, and abroad, I feel very strongly about the quality of dental care I receive and after finding Dr. Dressel, he is my go-​to-​guy. I have yet to find such a compassionate, patient, and skilled dentist anywhere else.
He has been nothing but extremely professional, going out of his way to make sure I have the best oral care always and he also makes me feel like he cares about me as a person. When I had an tooth-​related issue while traveling in Spain, he even went so far as to take my call and then call me back, despite the time change and extra international calling fees! He calmed my fears and made an appointment to see me first thing when I got back. He is an incredible dentist and a stand-​up human being. He is also a little bit of a OCD neat freak, which is a great quality in a dentist.

Dr. Dressel is the bomb! I just had a root canal done today and after hearing so many horror stories about what root canals were like I was a little worried.
All of those worries were for not as I felt absolutely no pain whatsoever during the entire procedure.
We’ve been going for a few years, just for check-​ups and cleanings, and this is the first time that I’ve ever had anything major done.
The staff are also great. I can’t recommend this guy enough.

Dr. Dressel is a great dentist! I don’t know why Unilocal keeps pulling down my original review. Perhaps it gets flagged as «fake» because it’s so positive? But if you read what I wrote, it’s obvious that I am a real person! I just think Dr. Dressel is that great.
I had a ridiculously positive experience at his office, and want to recommend him because I appreciate his excellent work and fair business practice. I am not a fan of going to the dentist, so if I have nice things to say about a dental visit, I want to spread the word to other potential visitors!

Proving his commitment to the community, Dr. Dressel did not hesitate when I asked him for donations for the victims of flooding in the Rockaways, giving boxes of toothbrushes and toothpaste.
This is someone you can feel good about going to see. He’s got your back.
