I would rate this place zero Good thing 1) instructor 2) area 3) people 4) classes Bad thing 1) no bathroom 2) changing room is small 3) one of the sensei lied on the phone saying after the 50 month special the classes would be around 100 – 150 and I could afford it no problem. And when I came in to sign up I was told the same and how they would arrange the prices with me to be affordable, until weeks after my monthly special would end soon I ask the membership prices Here are the prices 175 a month by cash only if you give 2,100 upfront 200 a month by credit if you can’t give the 2,100 upfront by cash And one said 275 but I don’t recall it However it is way out of my price range to pay all that just for karate!!! The schedule recently changed they took off kickboxing boot camp and Zumba they added krav magna and that’s free for whoever does karate but all that money has no other benefit to it they never tried arranging a price range at all I can see why they barley have student in their class sessions. I’m happy I benefited from the 50 month special but I rather do my karate else where I found another place that does it 109 a month which is way better and closer.

JSKAUSA Karate changed me. It introduced me to dearest friends and extended family. It helped me to become focused, disciplined and strong. As a woman in NYC, it taught me how to be responsible for my self-defense. As Sensei Casale says, «The best self defense is getting home safe.» Honor, respect and loyalty are all important aspects of life in the dojo. When you step on the mat, you grow more than you ever expected and first realize. Try it and you’ll see. You have nothing to lose and a world of opportunity to gain.
