Ordered from this bakery twice the cake was decent they failed in the paying attention to detail department, more than once unfortunately, also lied about issuing a credit when they blatantly messed up my order I prematurely recommended some friends they screwed up those orders what can i say NEVER AGAIN!!!

Cake was beautiful but not quite what I expected. They put like a vanilla frosting in the filling and I was highly disappointed. Cake was also dry. Sorry but they won’t be getting my business anymore.

I have never really written a review, let alone a negative one. I attempted to order a Jasmine cake for my daughter’s 5^th birthday party. I contacted Isabella’s creation via email. For $ 153 agree to do the birthday cake for Saturday evening for 20 people. I called them this morning at 7 a.m. to ask that I postponed the cake order until February 6^th due to the inclement weather. I apologized and was told by Maria Nittie too bad the cake was already made yesterday. It’s not her problem. Really? I told her to charge me something for the materials used. It was not yet decorated. she was like no pick it up. I asked her what I was supposed to do at the cake. She said she really didn’t care I could eat it! She also had the audacity to ask me if I was a baker. She was so rude she even went so far as to hang up on me. When I threatened to stop the credit card payment she said we’ll see about that. I would suggest no one ever uses this bakery as the people are rude and unprofessional

I contacted isabellas creations for a spiderman cake for my son’s 5^th bday. Isabellas creations corresponded with me via email and responded to my questions in a timely fashion. The cake was delicious and exactly how we asked. The price was great too. Will be using her again for my next party!

I recently ordered my husband’s law school graduation cake from Isabella’s Creations and it was PERFECT. They followed my wishes to a T and created a cake that was absolutely beautiful and delicious as well! Everyone was so impressed with it, especially my graduate.

I would never use them again. The cake was not what I described and wanted. The cake was tasty, but the whole idea of ordering a custom cake is to get what you specifically want. I don’t know how much easier I could have made it. I did show them pictures to reference and they were way off.
When I went there they told me the smallest cake I could have made was a three tier which was fine but they told me it would feed approximately 40 people so I had the venue make cake as well. Turns out the cake could’ve fed the whole party. So we brought the cake home. It collapsed in the car and we could only salvage a little of it. I paid $ 300 for a cake that basically no one ate and was not what I described.
I would rather pay more money for a cake that is actually a custom cake and where the place informs me the actual number of people it can feed.
Thank God none of the guests knew exactly what I asked for so they had no idea the cake was way off.
It is what it is you live and learn. I wound NEVER EVER use them again.

This place is amazing! This incredible establishment beautifully replicated the design of the cake I wanted for my godson’s baptism brunch. The cake was beautiful and delicious. Thank you Isabella’s creation for making such a joyous occasion sweeter.

Ordered a lab coat cake it came out beautiful they were very quick with the order and a lot cheaper than other bakeries. Looks I’d give ¹⁰⁄₁₀ taste ⁷⁄₁₀. Would definitely recommend for custom cakes

Two years and two different birthday cakes and I am extremely satisfied. Maria is a great person, with amazing talent. I live in Chicago and I will not go anywhere else, but to Isabella’s Creations in Brooklyn, to get my birthday cake. Thank you for my DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL cakes!!! See you in soon.

Décor gets 2.5 stars. I was a bit disappointed at the fondant having a noticable hill on one side and a valley on the other, and I would have liked them not to add sugar flowers without consulting me (design was supposed to be lace-​and-​pearl), but the fondant was smooth and I appreciated the slight pearl-​y shimmer they gave it.
Taste gets 4.5 stars… it wasn’t gourmet but everyone was asking me for the bakery’s name it was so good. I’m still thinking about that taste days later actually…
And the AMAZING value of a special occasion cake for 4times less $$$ than the other bakeries quoted me? SOLID 4 stars; will definitely use again… but for birthdays, not ultra-​important one-​time occasions like wedding/​bridal shower.

Awful! I would never do business with them again. I ordered a cake for my 25^th birthday. After searching and searching, I stumbled upon Isabella’s via Google search. After consulting over the phone with one of their associates, I was relieved as they seemed to produce quality cakes (based on the pictures I saw) and they were reasonably priced. Since I was ordering over the phone, they said that I could reference one of the pictures on their Facebook, which I did. I ordered a 10 inch round vanilla cake with strawberry filling. I specifically asked them to change the font because the cake I selected, although I loved the design, I felt the font was «boyish.» They assured me they would change it to something more feminine.
I went to pick up my cake and of course the font was not what I asked for. But the rest of the cake was beautiful, so i didn’t complain about the font. My birthday party was the next day and I could not wait to show off this beautiful cake to my guests. When time came to cut the cake, I realized that the filling was chocolate… I ordered strawberry. I don’t eat chocolate… at all. I didn’t enjoy my own birthday cake.
I called them a few days later to see if anything could be done to rectify the situation since my 25^th birthday cake was ruined, not to mention the cake didn’t even taste good. An extremely rude associate named Chantel told me that, since I did not call right away, the only thing they could do was give me a discount off of a future order. Call right away? I picked up the cake on Saturday, didn’t cut it until SUnday, and they’re closed on Mondays. Also, what difference should it make when I call? Were they expecting me to bring the cake back?! Her logic was juvenile at best.
Then, to make matters even worse, she tried to act like my cake wasn’t worth her time by responding with, «it’s only a $ 30 cake!» Excuse me!!! Firstly, I paid almost $ 100 for that cake. Regardless of how much I paid for it, I PAID FOR IT. As a customer, you should acknowledge the fact that I paid for a product and did not get what I ordered. I asked to speak to the manager and all I got was the run around because he was «busy» delivering cakes. I was told to leave my information so that he would call me and he never did.
Needless to say I will NEVER spend my hard earned money here EVER again and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Wow. Absolutely cannot agree with any of these reviews. We recently got a cake for my son’s birthday, and got poor service and so-​so cake. I’ll accept their claim of a miscommuncation about what characters were supposed to decorate the cake, but for upwards of $ 125 I expect something better than a printed image I could get anywhere. The cake itself tasted like Betty Crocker. Not terrible, but again… $ 125? Frosting pretty obviously a sheet made a day or two before the cake.
Don’t waste your time.

I ordered my son’s first birthday cake from Isabellas, and it was GREAT! I was impressed with all aspects of my experience… ordering was easy (I said I wanted them to do an American flag guitar and sent them a pic of his guitar). They made an amazingly awesome design!!! paying was easy. They delivered to downtown Manhattan on time. And most of all, the cake was a big hit, and it tasted really good too! I’ve already recommended them to friends, and would definitely use them again!

Great cake! Great taste! The design was exactly what I asked for and the price could not be beat.

I was so impressed with Isabella’s Creations. I ordered two dozen cupcakes with a custom design for a bridal shower and they turned out great. They helped me choose the perfect design, and were super clear and communicative about coordinating payment and delivery. The cupcakes showed up on time and looked (AND TASTED) even better than I expected. They were a huge hit! I would heartily recommend using them again!

Great cupcakes! Isabella’s Creations made delicious fun decorated cupcakes and delivered them in a short turn around! Their customer service was excellent AND so was the product.

What is best about Isabellas Creations is the cakes are actually delicious!!! Sometimes when you order these fancy cakes, all they do is look fancy and don’t taste good! Isabellas Creations’ cakes are not only beautiful, they taste delicious!!!
Besides the cakes being amazing, one of the other best parts of Isabellas Creations is dealing with the staff. They are family-​owned, friendly, helpful, and reasonably priced! The cake creator was one of the nicest people I ever met! It was a pleasure dealing with her!
I highly recommend Isabellas Creations for your cake needs! you won’t be disappointed!
